Bu nedenle Türkiye, Azerilerin haksız savaşını Azerbaycan ordusunu eğiterek ve fiilen son savaşa da katılarak destekledi.
Güney Kafkasya’da dengeler, Ermenistan’da Batı yanlısı Peşinyan’nın başbakan olması ile değişmeye başladı. Yukarı Karabağ’ın kaybıyla sonuçlanan 2023’deki savaşta Rusya’nın gerekli desteği vermemesi, Ermenistan’ın Rusya’dan yana stratejik pozisyonunu değiştirmesiyle sonuçlandı. Azerbaycan, Batı ile Rusya arasında denge politikası izlerken, ilişkiler 2024 senesinde Azerbaycan yolcu uçağının Kazakistan’da düşürülmesiyle bozulmaya başladı. Azerbaycan, Rusya kabul etmese de uçağın Rusya tarafından düşürüldüğünü iddia etti. Daha sonra Rus güvenlik güçlerinin iki Azerbaycan vatandaşını Moskova’da işkence ile katletmesi üzerine, 2025 senesinde taraflar medya ofislerinde operasyonlar yapıp kültürel faaliyetleri askıya alarak karşılıklı notalar verdiler. Bu arada Azerbaycan ile Ermenistan da yaptıkları görüşmeler sonucunda, Zengezur koridorunun açılması da dâhil, ihtilaflı konularda büyük oranda anlaşmaya vardılar. Peşinyan’ın Ankara’yı ziyareti de anlaşmayı perçinlemiş oldu.
Gelinen aşamada, bölgede Rusya lehine olan dengeler değişmiş olduğundan, Rusya-Ermenistan-İran ekseni dağılmış gibi görünüyor. Böylece Azerbaycan-Gürcistan-Ermenistan’dan oluşacak Güney Kafkasya zinciri ile Rusya’yı güneyden, İran’ı kuzeyden kuşatmak mümkün olacaktır.
Gerek Orta Doğu gerekse Kafkasya’daki gelişmeleri ve Rusya-Ukrayna savaşını, iki emperyalist devletin, ABD ve Çin’in arasında yapılacak “3. Paylaşım Savaşı”nın ayak sesleri olarak görmek gerekiyor. Hegemonyası gerilemekte olan ABD, bir yanda kendi cephe gerisini tahkim ederken, diğer yandan Çin’in stratejik ortakları Rusya ve İran’ı pasifize ediyor. ABD’nin tek süper güç olma pozisyonunu muhafazası ancak Orta Doğu ve Kafkasya’da petrol ve doğalgaz aktarımını kontrol etmesi, Pasifik’te ittifaklarını güçlendirmesiyle mümkün olabilecektir.
İsmi konmamış bu savaşta emperyalist Rusya ise Ukrayna savaşından başını kaldırdıktan sonra, yumuşak karnı Kafkasya’da dengeyi kendi lehine çevirebilmek için; karşıt unsurların bloke edilmesi, sosyo-politik ortamın destabilize edilmesi ve sert güç kullanmak da dâhil, her türlü enstrümanı kullanacaktır.

I know party's campaign in poetry and govern in prose, and the challenges of government can't always achieve everything you set out to achieve, but this just appears as if he told his Party what he thought they wanted to hear purely to get elected as leader with no intention of following through.
