Hey, I'm looking for a job as a (full stack) hardware/embedded engineer. My main focus is in electrical engineering & hardware design, DFM, full product integration (doing hardware design with respect to mechanical integration and user interaction), firmware and bringup. I have extensive knowledge in debugging and finding hardware issues.
So far I have worked a lot in medical engineering, both in clinical settings as well as in research & development of assistive technology and human-machine-interfaces, where I did the electrical engineering, ultra-low power hardware design, bringup and the integration with the mechanical and firmware aspects. I designed and brought to market an EV Charger, where I did high power electronics and firmware works. In my spare time I work on open source projects, such as the OtterCast, an open source audio streaming solution, ligra, an open source image projector and a multitude of smart home projects, such as custom lighting. Please don't call the cops on homeless folks, who you may see/run into at some parks, if they're not bothering anyone at all & are trying to keep to themselves. I've met several different homeless folks all around this large urban park & never felt scared around them. I sometimes bring them free foods & first aid supplies.
We desperately need more social & transitional supportive housing in #VictoriaBC. All municipalities should be working on this - together. But, then my daily reading happened to be in Isaiah 8, where he prophesies the Assyrian invasion and destruction of Israel. It struck me with comfort knowing that God is the only thing in this universe worth fearing as He is all-powerful and holy, things which we are not. When we honor Him as such, He becomes our sanctuary.

Buttermilk naan test with oat milk for vegan compliance. Dough is a little softer, therefore a tad trickier to roll. That being said, I rate them a great success. Flavor and texture are absolutely fine.

One year ago today, July 31st, I attended a peaceful protest on Whitehall opposite Downing Street. Simply for peacefully standing in a crowd, I, along with some 120 other protestors, was arrested by the Metropolitan Police. I was then unlawfully detained for 20.5 hours and handcuffed behind my back, which caused me unnecessary physical pain and trauma. I was never charged or even interviewed. I have since successfully sued the police for this.
I have good reason to believe, having spoken to the officer who arrested me and also to numerous other people who had attended that protest and suffered notable injustices there, that orders had been given to police officers to arrest as many people as possible. The narrative being spun, almost certainly planned beforehand, was that the number of arrests would reflect the level of disorder at the protest (this is certainly how the over 100 arrests have generally been interpreted since in the media). That's not true. Some of the original libertarians were socialists. I had a libertarian phase once upon a time. One thing that was very apparent was that nobody could agree on what libertarianism meant. The only thing they seemed to agree on was that the government should be smaller. The maga movement has adopted the libertarian label for some reason. Despite the government, especially the authoritarian elements being expanded. In the current climate, anybody that proudly claims to be libertarian is either pretending the meaning hasn't changed, or is a maga idiot. Even Penn Jillette, one of the most outspoken libertarians, has since shed the label.
