Aber die Anzahl der Lkw, die bisher in den Gazastreifen kommen, liegt immer noch deutlich unter dem, was gebraucht wird. Eine Veränderung der Versorgungslage konnten wir noch nicht spüren. Gehen meine Kollegen auf den Markt, finden sie dort nach wie vor nicht mehr Essen als in den vergangenen Wochen.

ZEIT: Was müsste sich ändern?

Fadlalla: Es müssen mehr Lkw schneller hineingelassen werden. Und es fehlt ein Verteilsystem im gesamten Gazastreifen, damit das Essen diejenigen erreicht, die es brauchen. Jetzt läuft es so: Die Leute versuchen, so viel sie können so schnell wie möglich zu greifen. Es gab aber zuvor ein funktionierendes System der Vereinten Nationen. Sie sollten die Verteilung wieder übernehmen.

Security Culture Because what they don’t know can hurt them. Security culture is a set of shared practices that minimize risk. Even in an increasingly dangerous time, we can still organize and act—we just have to be prudent. Share sensitive information on a need-to-know basis. If someone does not need to know something, they should never hear anything about it. Don’t speak about anyone’s participation in high-risk activities. Don’t brag, gossip, or speculate. The more people know something that can put someone at risk, the greater the chance that it will reach the wrong ears. That goes for the identity of a person responsible for an action, the legal status of a member of your community, the location of a private meeting, or a plan for future activity. Sharing such information with people who do not need it puts them in the position of being able to endanger others with a single error. Identify your goals and the threat models you are concerned about so you can pick the security measures that meet your needs. When making a plan, start by agreeing on the appropriate security practices so everyone is on the same page. At the beginning, err on the side of caution: it’s easier to shift from a higher level of security to a lower level than vice versa. Trust your gut. Don’t let anyone talk you into doing something you don’t feel good about. @post_hardcore Я думаю, изначально было понятно, что на детей всем насрать. Если бы государства действительно заботились о детях, они бы строили больше школ, больниц и детских садов.

Как и на "взрослый контент", на самом-то деле тоже. Это просто самый легкий способ протащить нужные изменения и нужные средства контроля куда надо. Никто не будет против, это же все "ради детей".

Настоящая цель всей этой инфантилизации и маргинализации Интернета куда масштабнее.

One of the many treats of #ADHD I hate the most: ADHDers have no internal motivation and rely completely on external motivation: urgency, novelty, pressure, competition and the need to belong. Except novelty they require negative emotions: anxiety and fear for urgency and pressure, competition and need to belong require shame. Hyperfocus is not for oneself but caused by seek for novelty.

To have ADHD is to battle negativ emotions all the time by doing stuff for _others_ and not for oneself. >>

Hm, ich mag nicht, dass du das als allgemeingültige Tatsache formulierst. MmADHS sind unterschiedlich. ADHS hat ein Spektrum von Aspekten, die unterschiedl. ausgeprägt sind. Lebenserfahrung führt bei mir dazu, dass ich Sachen erledige, weil ich weiß, dass ich mich gut fühle, wenn ich sie getan habe. Mir hilft es, das laut auszusprechen: So, jetzt habe ich xy gemacht, es war nicht schlimm und ich ich fühle mich jetzt gut (offenbar führt das Hören zu schnellerer Veränderung im Hirn).

Yesterday the Trump administration suspended nearly 300 #NSF grants to UCLA, claiming the university violated Title VI by "creating a hostile educational environment for Jewish and Israeli students."

The NSF grants total $179M, half of which was still outstanding: CAREER grants, a major math institute, and basic science research and training of all types.
