#Israel’s #Mossad chief flew to D.C. to pitch Gaza’s ethnic cleansing plan: starve them, cage them, then deport the survivors. As Israeli journalist Gideon #Levy said, it’s a plan worthy of Adolf #Eichmann — the Nazi bureaucrat who orchestrated the Holocaust’s logistics.

@jimmybuffettfanaccount I have no idea about it but it was a gacha so I am happy it died by default. It had the "usual Danganronpa team" on it of Kodaka, Rui, and Takada but I do not think it was their baby or even run by their team. "Tribe What?" is probably the sum of its impact on the world. All I know is that it involved battling things to save Japan and baseball
in reply to DrRyanSkelton

@jimmybuffettfanaccount FYI Kodaka is the writer. Rui is the artist. Immediately recognizable style. Too recognizable. He is the Danganronpa guy forever now. Takada is the music man. Literally undeniably one of the all time best vidya music guys ever and he has been all over. Easily deserves to be in the same sentence as Koshiro, Yamaoka, etc.: youtu.be/aeLzkTKBdTM

The Dutch National Coordinator for Security and Counterterrorism (NCTV) has, for the first time, included #Israel on its list of foreign states that pose a threat to the #Netherlands' national security. The assessment was made in a recent report titled "Assessment of Threats from State Actors."

The report details several concerns that led to Israel's inclusion. Among these are #disinformation campaigns aimed at influencing Dutch public opinion and political decision-making. One example given is a document circulated to Dutch journalists and politicians through unofficial channels after violence caused by #Maccabi Tel Aviv fans.

The report also highlights worries about threats from Israel toward the International Criminal Court ( #ICC) in The Hague, which could potentially undermine the institution's work. Furthermore, the NCTV has previously expressed concerns about the use of Israeli spyware and surveillance tools.

I have a bunch of packages coming, so I wanted an easy way to track all of them without signing up for a third party site.

Back in the olden days, Mac introduced desktop widgets that included a package tracker. I checked to see if Windows had anything similar, now 20 years later.

There *are* widgets, but you're assaulted with a feed of horrible news articles about you-know-who. Turn that off, and you're offered a small handful of sad apps. No package tracker.

Why can't we have nice things?

Rumsfeld was accidentally recorded talking at the Pentagon saying there's $2.3 trillion dollars unaccounted for in the pentagon's budget right before 9/11, so it was forgotten about. Steve's saying a $2 billion B-2 bomber costs $150 million to make, the rest goes out the back door to secret projects so the $2.3T is all Black Budget Projects.

FBI Helped Clinton Campaign Orchestrate Russia Collusion Hoax To Distract From Email Investigation, Newly Declassified Intelligence Suggests
There is no evidence, say Democrats and the media, that the Obama administration manufactured intelligence to create a false narrative that Russia interfered in the 2016 election to help Trump win. Recent document releases by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, they claim, are a “nothingburger.” Gabbard’s accusation that the Obama administration and intelligence community led a “coup” against Trump is…

Washington Is Bringing Instability to Russia and China in Central Asia

While Russia and China were asleep, Washington purchased the Armenian and Azerbaijan governments and control of the Zangezur Corridor.

The corridor runs along the borders of Armenia and Azerbaijan with Iran. According to a confidential memorandum obtained by a European newspaper, the “Memorandum of Understanding on the Creation of the ‘Trump Bridge’ Transport Corridor,” Washington has gained control of this sensitive part of the word for 99 years.

RT reports that such an agreement would follow logically from the US-Armenian Strategic Partnership Charter. American contractors and advisors are already on the ground. It appears that the corridor will be militarized.

If reports are true, Russian and Chinese intelligence or political will totally failed yet again. Washington has struck a deadly three-pronged attack against Russia, China and Iran. Iran is now encircled from the north. The Zangezur Corridor, formerly an intended part of China’s Belt and Road or New Silk Road, is in Washington’s hands. Another part of former provinces of the Soviet Union has fallen under Washington’s influence. Stalin and Mao would never have allowed such a development.

The Armenian president, Nikol Pashinyan, perhaps encouraged by a bag full of dollars, has aligned with Washington and has implemented policies that seem designed to undermine the national identity of Armenia. See this.

It wasn’t that long ago that Putin had to send Russian troops to Kazakhstan to prevent a Washington-inspired Color Revolution and that Georgia’s anti-Russian government was refusing to abide by the election and release its hold on power. Kazakhstan borders China’s majority-Muslim province of Xinjiang, where Washington is actively stirring up the province.

It is clear enough that Washington is active in Central Asia stirring up trouble that it hopes will destabilize the Russian and Chinese governments and has completed the encirclement of Iran. As this development has been in the works for some time, serious questions are raised about the competence of the Russian, Chinese, and Iranian governments.

Putting these developments in wider perspective, it is clear that Washington has no intention of entering into a mutual security agreement with Putin. But apparently Putin is unable to see reality. He sees only hopes. It was a strategic blunder for Putin to allow the conflict with Ukraine to continue for so long while Washington and NATO surrounded him with trouble spots. Putin’s inability to act forcefully has brought very aggressive talk against Russia by a variety of European government ministers and generals who say they will be ready for war with Russia in 18 months. Trump has now given Putin an ultimatum to accept within 12 days a Ukrainian peace agreement that no one knows what is. No such agreement exists, and Zelensky has said he won’t sign regardless.

It was a serious mistake for Putin to have encouraged such hostility toward Russia by permitting a conflict over a few kilometers in Donbas to go on indefinitely. To be treated with respect, Russia needed to show decisive military prowess. Putin failed this test.

On the Western front, successful Ukrainian drone attacks have left 150,000 Russians in the Rostov region without power. US General Christopher Donahue, Commander of US Army Europe and Africa, has announced a NATO plan to capture Russian Kaliningrad in record short time. See this.

Will Putin still be talking about peace negotiations when Kaliningrad falls?

The monetization part is what stands out. lol

I am already generating over $1 per day on Minds in my first week. They pay out in crypto daily. It's a really cool concept.

Other than that, it's a run of the mill social site. It's a small community and leans right. Seems to respect free speech somewhat.

The most popular content is silly cat videos and "Frens" telling each other "GM."

My content will do very well.

Previously deleted blog posts from Morris’ time as CEO of Rubicon, a large recycling company, have come under scrutiny for their promotion of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) and Environmental Social and Governance (ESG). For example, in one post from September 2020, Morris praised a new board member of Rubicon for helping the company remain “at the forefront of the ESG movement.”

In another deleted post from June 1, 2020, Morris wrote that he was “feeling profound sadness and anger at the tragic events of recent weeks” in the wake of the death of George Floyd.

“The protests we are seeing are a manifestation of the pain and anger that so many are feeling,” he wrote. “While it is important that we understand that pain and anger, it cannot bring back the lives that have been lost or undo the past injustices that have plagued our nation for generations. That pain and anger must fuel real, measurable, and decisive action to light a better path forward.”

An excellent thread on why there's so much propaganda pushing "personal responsibility" over collective action — the only force with the power to genuinely move the needle on big problems. mamot.fr/@pluralistic/11494929…

I need to tell you something unsatisfying: your personal consumption choices will not make a meaningful difference to the amount of enshittification you experience in your life.

"My book on Enshittification is coming out in a couple of months, and the early reviews are already coming in, and they are gratifyingly glowing. But there's a trend in these reviews, a caveat that reviewer after reviewer has raised: my book is 'short on individual solutions.'

"You're goddamned right it is. Because this isn't an individual problem, it's a systemic one." — @pluralistic

"No one is coming to save us *except* us. There is such a thing as #society, and you're a part of it, and so am I, and so are the rest of us.
You can't fight #enshittification. But together, *we* can."

There is still hope, reading @pluralistic helps a little bit.

Sci-fi author Yudhanjaya Wijeratne and I are working on a script that extracts economic concepts from reviews of science fiction novels. We are interested in observing convergences: are there alternative economies that feel believable to several authors? Here is a first shot, using reviews mostly written by myself over the years. Authors reviewed include @pluralistic , @bruces @annaleen, @KarlSchroeder, Kim Stanley Robinson, and others.
