Mais quelle est alors la cible exacte du crime de génocide ? La définition du « fait social » proposée par Émile Durkheim en 1895 permet de mieux le comprendre.

Pour autant qu’il soit possible de démontrer qu’il est « commis dans l'intention de détruire, ou tout ou en partie » un groupe en tant que groupe, un seul de ces actes suffit pour que l’ont puisse parler de génocide. S’agissant de l’intention, les propos vociférés sur toutes les ondes par les membres du gouvernement israéliens et les hauts-gradés de son armée sont suffisamment explicites. Quant aux actes, le transfert forcé d’enfants est à ma connaissance le seul de la liste qu’Israël n’ait pas encore commis, sans doute en raison de l’idéologie profondément raciste et suprémaciste qui caractérise l’idéologie sioniste.
C’est pourtant bien ce cinquième acte de la liste qui doit ici retenir notre attention : il montre que, en théorie au moins, un groupe se livrant au transfert systématique des enfants d’un autre groupe avec pour intention de briser la chaîne de transmission intergénérationnelle pourrait être accusé de génocide, même s’il n’a tué personne par ailleurs. Cela suffit à disqualifier toute argumentation basée sur le seul nombre de tués pour qualifier ou non un acte de génocide.

On vous l’a expliqué la semaine dernière, François Bayrou a annoncé un budget pour 2026 très dur : austérité et durcissement des conditions de vie pour les précaires, malades, chômeurs, classes “moyennes”, services publics… en rejetant l’imposition des plus riches ou grandes entreprises (qui paient moins d’impôt en proportion que le reste de la population française). Alors forcément tout ça, ça crée un ras le bol fiscal. Ces derniers jours et semaines ont vu naître le mouvement “c’est Nicolas qui paie” sur les réseaux”. Ce Nicolas est censé être un trentenaire, qui travaille, et qui se fait écraser par les impôts. Mais ne croyez pas à un mouvement révolutionnaire ou qui dénonce les inégalités non ; ce mouvement de droite et d’extrême droite veut défendre une figure du bon français qui travaille dont le fruit est volé par l’Etat, les prestations sociales et les étrangers. Ce mouvement tente de se réapproprier le combat sur la fiscalité, mais taper sur les retraites ou les dépenses ; ça permet encore une fois de ne pas parler taxation des plus riches/grandes entreprises qui ne participent pas autant que nous (proportionnellement) au pot commun. Également, Thomas Porcher rappelle que ce “Nicolas” a hérité de tout un service public : écoles, santé, voirie, parcs… L’économiste pointe de gros angles morts factuels sur ce mouvement. En effet, Thomas Porcher rappelle les milliards de cadeaux aux entreprises et très riches depuis les quinquennats Macron, ce qui a réduit les recettes et donc creusé le déficit. Lisa Lap et Thomas Porcher déconstruisent le concept de réussite et de richesse… comme si leur argent ne venait pas de travailleurs qui créent de la valeur ajoutée et que l’Etat ne participait pas à les aider massivement (cf. les aides publiques aux entreprises). Ce n’est pas la seule colère qui gronde autour du budget Bayrou, bien au contraire. Des mouvements type gilets jaunes ou encore la gauche est furax face à cette austérité dangereuse, inefficace et qui aura des conséquences concrètes pour les français. Nous sommes allés directement questionner le Premier Ministre sur le sujet, qui dit “ne pas entendre la critique” à notre micro.

Thank you! Viewfinder is upside down for me, and it has tendency to crash the camera (or system) as described in the README. I do not see crashes with my code (gitlab.com/tui/tui/-/tree/mast…), but I'm doing _way_ simpler processing; I did see memory corruption with my version at one point, through. I'm using YUY2, and 1024x... 30fps recording is feasible with simple shaders.
@pavel It shows the right way and runs reliably for hours here on crimson. There should be no crashes whatsoever. Could be some regression on GStreamer side, but on newer distros you should rather use GTK4 and GtkGraphicsOffload instead anyway.
Of course simpler shaders allow for higher performance, the challenge is in simplifying the shader without making the output shitty ;)
@pavel rotate-method sets what gets passed to wl_surface::set_buffer_transform verbatim, and the camera is rotated 90° counter clock-wise in relation to the screen, so it should be 1. Unless I'm getting something wrong, it smells like a bug in newer phoc.
@pavel As long as it doesn't overlay the GStreamer's subsurface, you simply add a button to the box. I had that at one point, so I know it works. For more complex UI, use GtkGraphicsOffload which will handle overlaying widgets. I won't hand-hold you with that, it's simple stuff with many examples out there.

Momo is old and grumpy and doesn’t eat some days and has IBD and is on prednisone although when he doesn’t eat he doesn’t get his prednisone either as I mix it into his food. He almost died this spring;I worried he was going to die after Lola died; for a little while I thought his enmity with George the kitten gave him a new lease on life, but now I think he’s dying anyway. He has endured many vet visits and hated every one, his last scan suggested he could have a number of problems so we just treated for IBD as it was the least invasive. His time for more vet visits and scans and invasive procedures is over. I try to minimize his stress but I still have to vacuum the floors sometimes, for example, and this last weekend I traveled for the first time all year, so he had to endure a cat sitter. Of course he has to endure George too which is quite the insult. I’m doing my best for this old man, and crying most days, and trying to believe it’s not my fault, and to just keep loving him until I can discern his suffering exceeds his dignity.
