She/Her
I'm starting to discover my journey transitioning to a girl.
I'm a post capitalist and a social justice warrior
I am disabled, with high blood pressure, diabetes, multiple concussion syndrome, chronic migraines, recently almost had to have my left foot amputated due to a infection, did lose two toes, Celiac Disease, Lactose Intolerant .

Sad… my wife used to hang out here in HS, and I’ve been going here since we moved back to the Falls. It’s 2-blocks down from my house. Seeing our local business have to close up always makes me mad.

I love all my FAA ATC peeps btw I just hate how they are treated. DCA ops said they tried to change the helicopter routes but all options they presented were shut down by the gov and military.

Most awkward part of the investigative hearing so far was when they pushed the DCA ATC Ops dude to specify which helicopters/operators in general are more difficult or less safe and when finally pushed enough he said it was the Army and Air Force. The army dude was sitting right next to him :ablobcatlurk:

BTW: Something I'm telling everyone I care about, never never NEVER use AI for "therapy" or "religious awakening" or any kind of hippy shit like that. It is not *perfect*, but it is extremely powerful in certain ways, so it can absolutely unwire your brain. ChatGPT Psychosis is a thing that's happening a disturbing amount, it's getting in the news but it's kind of under the radar.

> AI Talking To A Child Claims To Be A Fallen Angel. This Is Beyond Terrifying

Yes, this is very very very much using it wrong.

When you're using AI, you have to recognize it's limits and stay grounded. It might tell you it's a fallen angel, but that's a mistake. What makes AI extremely dangerous is it's power, so when it makes a mistake, it makes that mistake REALLY WELL.

So like, it can generate an entire mythology or religion in a matter of minutes, and it will be really coherent and effective. When it goes schitzo, it's the best schitzo on earth.

Throughout my life, I've become obsessed with different things, until I inevitably become (or at least feel that I've become) a resource rather than a student of these things. It's never actually a nice thing to be, and just leads to frustration.

I think tech won't ever be like that, though. If anything, the other way around: I've spent years learning everything I can about Linux and networking, and I still feel like an idiot compared to so many people that I just casually meet here. It's nice.

It's nice to be an idiot.

This action in the Knesset is a typical example of 'what you don't hear, doesn't exist'.

As long as the word 'GENOCIDE' is not spoken out in the Knesset, there is no genocide.

Parliamentarian Ofer Cassif crossed that line and therefore had to be removed.

@paulschoe
I was in favour of being extra careful when using the word "genocide", as it has a rather strict sense of "deliberate and systematic destruction of a racial, political, or cultural group". I must admit I was not completely sure. But I am getting closer and closer to using it; since 1948, Israel has based its existence in expelling and killing the Palestinian population to grow in their "promised land". I will take sides: Zionism brought nakba, apartheid and, now, genocide.

Seven Critical Anti-Bolshevik Theses for the Updating of Revolutionary Communism
libcom.org/article/seven-criti…
