Today in History August 6, 1945: The B-29 Enola Gay dropped an atomic bomb on Hiroshima, immediately killing 70,000 children, women and male civilians. Tens of thousands more died in subsequent decades from radiation-induced illnesses. Nagasaki got the same two days later. However, todayโ€™s nuclear weapons are far more powerful and the U.S. has 5,800 of them, enough to obliterate the planet several times over. Russia has 6,375, and China has 320. And letโ€™s not forget Israelโ€™s nukes, as they draw the U.S. closer to putting boots on the ground in Iran. Or India and Pakistanโ€™s, as shooting skirmishes flare up every few years in Kahsmir. Or North Koreaโ€™s. Or Franceโ€™s and UKโ€™s.

Six planes of the 509th Composite Group participated in this mission: one to carry the bomb (Enola Gay), one to take scientific measurements of the blast (The Great Artiste), the third to take photographs (Necessary Evil), while the others flew approximately an hour ahead to act as weather scouts (08/06/1945). Bad weather would disqualify a target as the scientists insisted on a visual delivery. The primary target was Hiroshima, the secondary was Kokura, and the tertiary was Nagasaki. Note:

I just changed a Windows 10 installation from SATA mode: RAID to AHCI.

First, within Windows command prompt (as admin):

bcdedit /set safeboot minimal

Then shutdown. Start the computer, enter into BIOS and change the SATA mode from RAID to AHCI. Save BIOS settings.

Reboot. Windows will start in safe mode. Then, within Windows command prompt (as admin):

bcdedit /deletevalue safeboot

Restart your computer again. Windows 10 should now boot normally with AHCI drivers enabled.
