Hi all !

Back again for a massive Gosuki 1.2.0 release, a multi-browser real time bookmark manager.

I posted about this project a month ago and had very positive feedback. Many users asked for multi-device sync so now Gosuki offers two methods to automatically synchronize your bookmarks across devices. Integration/import from other self hosted bookmark managers is in the works.

This is a project I have been writing on and off for the past few years. It aggregates your bookmarks in real time across all browsers/profiles and external APIs like as Reddit and Github.

Features


  • A single binary with no dependencies or browser extensions necessary. It just work right out of the box.
  • Multi-browser: Detects which browsers you have installed and watch changes across all of them including profiles.
  • Use the universal ctrl+d shortcut to add bookmarks and call custom commands.
  • Tag with #hashtags even if your browser does not support it. You can even add tags in the Title. If you are used to organize your bookmarks in folders, they become tags
  • Real time tracking of bookmark changes
  • Multi-device automated p2p synchronization
  • Builtin, local Web UI which also works without Javascript (w3m friendly)
  • Cli command (suki) for a dmenu/rofi compatible query of bookmarks
  • Modular and extensible: Run custom scripts and actions per tags and folders when particular bookmarks are detected
  • Stores bookmarks on a portable on disk sqlite database. No cloud involved.
  • Database compatible with the Buku. You can use any program that was made for buku.
  • Can fetch bookmarks from external APIs (eg. Reddit posts, Github stars).

It relates to automated detection and merging of tags without any manual intervention.

For Chrome based browsers and many others, there is no native support of tags. With Gosuki you can hit ctrl+d, add some #tag and that's it. It will be merged with the database. If it already existed, say from an other browser, the tag will be added.

In other terms you may have the same bookmarks across many browsers and profiles and they will all end up in a single consistent state.

All of this is handles in real-time as if you had a browser extension installed in every browser / profile.

Deux nouveaux éléments de langage sont apparus hier : l’État d’ #Israël ne va pas « occuper » #Gaza, mais en « prendre le contrôle ». Il « ne veut pas garder » ni gouverner Gaza, mais « la remettre aux forces arabes ».

Israël, c’est comme le joueur qui réécrit les règles à chaque tour et accuse les autres de tricher. Comme le skinhead de l’école, qui dévaste les classes et fracasse les crânes de ses camarades pendant que les surveillants regardent ailleurs et que les profs lui donnent la meilleure note. Israël maquille ses coups de force, mise sur le fait accompli et refuse d’assumer ses actes. Il occupe 75% de Gaza, mais il rejette la responsabilité de tout ce qui s'y passe sur un Hamas devenu l'ombre de lui-même. Il ne veut pas qu'on parle « d'occupation » pour éviter d'endosser le rôle de l’occupant et la responsabilité de nouveaux crimes de guerre.

Mais il n’y a pas plus de « guerre » qu’il n’y a de « forces arabes » prêtes à gérer Gaza. Il y a un État colonial engagé depuis des décennies dans la conquête de territoires et qui, depuis 672 jours, transforme les villes en déserts et déplace méthodiquement les populations en préparant leur déportation.

Il y a déjà 61.000 victimes, selon les chiffres du ministère de la Santé de Gaza, que des études considèrent comme étant sous-estimés d’environ 40%, et qu'Israël conteste sans jamais fournir les siens.

Il y a des causes de plus en plus variées à ces décès. Aux missiles largués sur des maisons et aux explosions ciblées par drones, se sont ajoutés le manque de soins et d'eau, la malnutrition, les tirs de snipers dans les files de la Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, les maladies liées à la pollution et à la concentration de centaines de milliers de personnes dans quelques dizaines de kilomètres carrés... Et désormais, les bagarres au couteau pour un sac de farine, les largages « d'aide humanitaire » et les camions de vivres qui écrasent des affamés…

L'occupation est un nouveau coup destiné à forcer l'enlisement. « Je veux que le monde s’ennuie de Gaza », répète #Netanyahu selon des journalistes.

Mais deux millions d'êtres humains sont encore vivants, et une petite part d'immeubles encore debout. Aux portes de Gaza, il y a de la nourriture, de l'eau, du carburant et des produits médicaux. Et un système d’aide internationale qui, jusqu’en mars, assurait encore un minimum de soins et de dignité, et ne demande qu’à reprendre.

Il n'y a pas de « guerre ». Il y a un massacre. Et un assassin, qu'il faut empêcher de commettre ses prochains faits accomplis.

ich les ja einige ki-newsletter und es ist unglaublich: gpt 5, das eigentlich nur ein erweiterter "mixture of models" ansatz ist, bei dem die "reasoning"-features mit einbezogen werden, wird überall als großer wurf gefeiert, statt als die stagnation des ansatzes, die immer offensichtlicher wird. solange die grundsätzlichen probleme der unzuverlässigkeit nicht gelöst sind, bleibt der einsatz auf schreib- oder programmiertätigkeiten beschränkt. gpt5 kann dasselbe wie gpt4, nur stellenweise besser.

I remember when I was training in a small Cessna 150, my instructor got me an invitation to the Airbus Training Facility in South Florida. Wow place!

I got a few minutes allowed in an A320 simulator (the real thing with hydraulics they use for training airline pilots). The instructor was sitting back of me giving me directions. Upon landing, at touchdown he says to level, we touched down. I says it feels too high. He says remember you are 40 ft off the ground, this is not a small Cessna. The sight picture felt weird that high.Never forgot this experience.

My high school once did an outing to the local pilot training school and us kids got to have turns in the 747 simulator. I tried to fly under the Sydney Harbor Bridge but of course hit the drink. I believe one student in our class did eventually become a commercial pilot.

Common sense tells me not to trust "man-made" meat, but this is truly sickening. The USDA and the FDA, like many other alphabet agencies, are captured agencies, and anything they do is suspect. It is evident that nothing they do is in our best interests, only theirs.
Lab-made meat. A quick Pubmed search shows they are using human #cancer cells. Aka #HELA cells, because they're immortal and keep replicating. Yes, they are also exploring the use of other human and animal cells too, but immortal human cancer cells as well. It also says there is the potential for these cells to cause cancer or other problems, but that's yet to be determined.
But the #USDA and #FDA approved it to enter the human #food supply.
