Je sais, ça m'est arrivé de me faire bousculer par deux cons sur la même trottinette, sur le trottoir. Les vélos, ça va encore, mais les trottinettes sont souvent débridées.
Même non débridé à 30 km/h c'est dangereux et surtout qu'en plus plusieurs sont maladroits avec et zigzague tellement qu'ils ont de la difficulté... Pareil avec les vélo, certains ont de la difficulté à le controller...
Faut déjà y arriver à faire du 30 à vélo. Puis j'ai déjà vu un scooter me raser en sortant de chez moi. Ici les cycles à assistance sont théoriquement bridés à 25 Km. Mais il y a des trottinettes qui vont presque à 120. En ville une bagnole de flics ne peut pas les rattraper.
J'ai fait erreur, c'est bien 25 km/h la limite avec bridage. J'ai déjà vu moi aussi des trottinettes roulé plus vite que les voitures qui sont déjà en excès de vitesse à 60 sur des route à 40.

Don't talk to cops is still solid advice for most activists. It doesn't apply in blanket form though. There's a few of us longtime veteran activists who will talk to cops. We know how to handle them, from decades of experiences. I don't advise talking to any cops, in general, otherwise.

@housepanther 100%. I've been advising not talking to cops for decades. Most folks will incriminate themselves by accident. Unless you have a ton of lived experiences dealing with cops - it's best to shut up & not talk to any of them. I was targeted, along with a few other very vocal & visible activists. RCMP CIRG were hunting for me for months. They were aiming at taking out people like me, with longtime experiences & able to keep the people inspired to fight against colonial capitalist armed peons. Sur cet ordinateur, le Secure Boot était grisé en mode UEFI, ce qui m’a obligé à passer en mode Legacy pour le désactiver et démarrer sur la clé USB. Cette méthode est parfaite pour du reconditionnement ou une installation simple de PrimTux seul sur la machine.
💡 À retenir : - ✅ Si tu installes PrimTux seul sur un PC éducatif ou reconditionné → Legacy est simple et efficace - ⚠️ Si tu as un PC récent ou que tu veux garder Windows en dual boot → il est préférable de rester en UEFI et de désactiver le Secure Boot directement dans ce mode

Especially in the 'middle' range for filament types. Plenty of decent info for plain PLA, but then there's endless superstition and meaningless shit for CF/GF filaments, PETG and ABS/ASA.
Gets slightly better with ASA since the retards are usually too scared to try it, and then everything fancier than that, the discourse is again decent since at that point the retards who just want to make disposable PLA trinkets have been almost entirely filtered out.
The superstition that's irking me now is "PETG likes to print slow", it makes no sense at all.

So I opted for a Wire Bending Jig Set to add some bends to my fender arms instead of vise grips. I figure it'll be a better tool and produce a more aesthetic result.
This is the reason why all this extra crap is needed. I have decided that before cutting anything, I will try a series of bends I had planned and just see if I can do it without cutting and extending.
It won't be tough to determine which brake is which.
Incidentally, the new brakes are very solid. The front I can only really feather and feel and use about 25% because the bizarro headstock on this bike can't really take anything approaching full use.
Before I replaced them, the old brakes were maybe 10% in the front and 5% in the back. I was getting good at timing when to let off and roll to a stop. In traffic anyhow. But now I can decide when and where the bike stops.
For anyone looking for a new braking system and are concerned about running tubes and burping lines, these are hydraulic at the brake with the lever using the existing mechanical cable. They are noticeably hydraulic in their pinch strength. The body from billet does most of the heavy lifting, providing a sturdy chamber to optimally use the small amount of mineral oil.
If these rupture, I can buy 3 more sets before I'm spending what a legit system will accomplish.
