I got sick of being required to go to the Dr. in order to get the same prescription over and over again, so I quit going to the Dr. and quit the meds. I also decided I didn't really care to live all that long anyway. I eat healthy and exercise to have good energy. Here I am at age 65, still doing fine 25 years after quitting medication.
