Just a follow-up here. I lived through the globalization of engineering and manufacturing. Manufacturing went first. Followed by the engineering. But a funny thong happened to these sociopathic executive managers along the way. It was field returns because the quality was so bad. So, they had to actually hire back some of that engineering to make sure they were getting the quality required to avoid massive field returns. It will end similarly here!

I find that statement so black and white... You are right, there is no drop-in perfect replacement to AWS. But by the 'perfect' standard, a BMW X3 is not a drop-in replacement for a Mercedes S class.

I mean i agree on the "drop in no changes" replacement. That won't work. Also openstack is sometimes a bit edgy for sure. But funtion wise OpenStack seem ok to replace your us cloud providers rather quickly if you have not nibbled the vendor specific modules too much and locked you into their garden.
@mcfly well there is the issue - the world I observe over at "normal companies" has not just been nibbling at the vendor specific modules, for them they are the only game in town. "servers", virtual or not, have little meaning for these people. I agree they should not be doing that, but they have, much incentivized by cloud vendors wanting sticky business...
@mcfly the problem is not „compute“, but services. adding a cloud db to an app/container in one additional api call, cross connecting services without connecting „all“, while managing ebay for everything in a global IAM that is also just an api call on top of your service provisioning and so on. i’d be a total fan of a EU provider, but i can’t sell it if it runs a feature set that is below 10% of GCP/AWS

SBC requires a 5V/5amp usb-c power supply with no power autonegotiation. Of which there are approximately zero in Australia. Supposedly the standard says if the device does not attempting power autonegotiation, the power should be supplied at 5V/3amps. When I plug it in it boots and seems to run normally. Des loyautés façonnées bien avant que le public ne connaisse son nom. Un homme médiocre qui se fait gifler par sa femme dominatrice est désormais l'une des personnes les plus importante du monde.

Les années #Rothschild de Macron révèlent un homme motivé par ses relations, et non par ses compétences. L'ascension fut trop rapide, trop nette et bien trop suspecte. Entre en scène Jacques #Attali. Son nom n'évoque peut-être pas grand-chose pour certains lecteurs, mais c'est un homme qui influence la classe politique française depuis des décennies. Aujourd'hui âgé de 81 ans, il a été conseiller spécial du président François Mitterrand.
Attali a joué un rôle clé dans le mentorat de François #Hollande. Aujourd'hui encore, il figure parmi les plus redoutables acteurs de l'ombre de la #politique française. Dans le contexte américain, son influence le placerait au même niveau que Zbigniew Brzezinski et George Soros. Mi-stratège, mi-gardien, mi-financier.
Attali s'est vanté un jour d'avoir « découvert » Macron, prétendant même l'avoir « inventé ». Le Macron que nous voyons aujourd'hui – l'homme politique soigneusement habillé, le mondialiste assumé, le président taillé pour la télévision – n'est pas né. Il s'est construit. Et il s'est construit à une vitesse remarquable.
À 32 ans, la sélection de Macron au sein du programme de la Fondation franco-américaine l'a placé parmi les futurs agents alignés sur les intérêts intégrationnistes des États-Unis et de l'Union européenne. La Fondation a longtemps servi de vivier discret aux élites transatlantiques.
Parmi les anciens participants au programme Jeunes Leaders de la Fondation franco-américaine figurent des personnalités comme Bill et Hillary Clinton. Macron est passé par d'autres institutions de formation d'élite : Sciences Po et l'École nationale d'administration (ENA).
Sciences Po, souvent considérée comme le berceau de la classe dirigeante française, a formé des générations de présidents, de Premiers ministres et de hauts fonctionnaires. L'ENA est encore plus exclusive. Fondée après la Seconde Guerre mondiale, elle a été conçue pour former les fonctionnaires qui allaient reconstruire la France moderne.
Parmi les anciens élèves de l'ENA figurent Hollande, Jacques Chirac, Valéry Giscard d'Estaing et M. Macron. Mais vint ensuite le Bilderberg, véritable terrain d'essai. Quelques mois après sa participation en 2014, la carrière politique de Macron décollait.
Pour les non-initiés, le Bilderberg est un rassemblement privé, sur invitation uniquement, où les banquiers, PDG, généraux et hommes politiques les plus puissants du monde se réunissent à huis clos. En toute confidentialité, à l'abri des regards et loin de toute responsabilité.
C'est là que les futurs dirigeants sont évalués, testés et discrètement approuvés. Lors de la réunion de 2014, Macron s'est retrouvé directement face à ceux et celles qui allaient bientôt financer et promouvoir son ascension. Ce n'était pas une coïncidence. C'était, à mon avis, un sacre.
En 2016, après avoir été nommé Jeune Leader Mondial du Forum Économique Mondial (FEM), Macron a franchi une nouvelle étape « miraculeuse ». Il a rejoint un groupe soigneusement sélectionné et approuvé par Klaus Schwab, parmi lequel figuraient des personnalités comme Justin Trudeau et Jacinda Ardern.
Ce fut un nouveau signal clair, un soutien public des mêmes intérêts mondiaux qui l'avaient soutenu dès le début. Moins de douze mois plus tard, Macron accédait à la présidence française. Un exploit remarquable pour un homme sans véritable base politique ni passé électoral.
Ses principaux rivaux furent systématiquement paralysés par les scandales, dénoncés et poursuivis avec une efficacité rarement vue dans un pays où l'appareil judiciaire est généralement lent. Pendant ce temps, un mouvement politique – En Marche ! – fut constitué presque du jour au lendemain.
Soutenu par des donateurs fortunés et coordonné par des consultants et des cabinets étroitement liés à l'élite économique et financière française, Macron n'a pas créé un mouvement. Un mouvement s'est créé autour de lui. L'ascension d'Emmanuel Macron n'a rien de normal.
Sous sa direction, la France a été poussée plus profondément sous le contrôle des grandes entreprises, subordonnée à des institutions supranationales et soumise à de vastes expériences sociales, souvent au mépris flagrant de la volonté du peuple français. Il a gouverné non pas en serviteur de la nation, mais en agent.
Les industries nationales ont été démantelées. Les institutions traditionnelles ont été affaiblies. La colère populaire s'est transformée en révolte, visible partout, des Gilets jaunes aux manifestations paysannes qui paralysent périodiquement certaines régions du pays.
Il a mené une guerre contre la liberté d'expression et présidé à des politiques d'immigration massive qui ont transformé la démographie des grandes villes. Il a étendu la surveillance numérique à un niveau qui rivalise désormais avec tout ce que l'on voit dans les États autoritaires. Il a imposé des vaccins avec un mépris affiché pour les dissidents.
Il s'est vanté que son gouvernement rendrait la vie « misérable » aux non-vaccinés. Parallèlement, Macron a cultivé une image soigneusement entretenue de respectabilité centriste. Les médias anglophones l'ont couvert d'éloges sans fin, alors même que sa cote de popularité était en chute libre.
L'acteur politique moderne n'a pas besoin d'être reprogrammé. Il lui suffit d'ambition, de vanité et de personnes compétentes qui lui murmurent à l'oreille des promesses de pouvoir et de protection.
Qui voudrait d'un homme comme #Macron à la barre ? Ceux qui avaient besoin d'une figure de proue volontaire pour gérer, recadrer et, à terme, dissoudre la souveraineté de la France dans un projet plus vaste et sans frontières – une France non plus pour les Français, mais pour les architectes de l'agenda mondial.

In hindsight this graph is even worse. The moment the Russian barbarians started their second assault on Ukraine, Europe immediately & sharply increased its purchases of Russian natural gas. We're still paying to be invaded!
The bigger question is, who orchestrated the dependence on Russian gas in the years or decades prior? Without such a reliance on it, this graph would look much different, and Russia's actions are likely in part motivated by their knowledge of this reliance.
