A conversation with my friend got me thinking that I should just fill up a page on my resume with my home lab experience. As it is, it's just a page with my two (2) publications, so I'm kicking myself for not throwing caution to the wind and doing it sooner. I guess just the imposter syndrome tells me that no one's gonna give a damn about my goofing around with ancient computer towers in my spare time.

Unfortunately, even the old stuff can fall apart when they don't do proper maintenance. And a LOT of industries don't regulate maintenance schedules with specific rules, and the ones which do, their employees don't actually follow the regulations. It's the entire culture and nearly the entire workforce. I know these things from personal experience in many fields throughout my working adult life.

But having low-iq retards definitely hurts more than helps.
