Could they make a super version of MS Dos where you can run MS DOS programs but with the capacity of a modern multiple gigabyte hard and multiple gigabyte processor

And then make the old programs run faster then tbey could on the old versions of dos designed for lower memory and slower processors and or make the programs able to handle more data then they could normally process

All while using old dos programs run on the new system?

I also use XFCE. My desktop’s currently on Forky and went through all of Trixie, and the emdia keys have worked fine.

I’ll have to fiddle around and see what’s going on, though it may take a few days to get back because I’m starting school again soon, so I’m quite busy.

For reference, what programs do you tend to use with media keys? For instance, VLC, Firefox, etcetera.
