As much as you're right, it's also less intuitive in daily life. Knowing an egg or slice of bread is about 80-90Wh means I can go 'omg a big laptop battery worth power', 324kJoules is very arbitrary there if you don't use it much.

the problem is, most peoples' bomb calorimeters measure in Celsius which is a doddle to convert to calories 🤷 so we'd either have to do more maths or couple some kind of Seebeck generator and a multimeter 🤔
I'd rather redefine the Celcius scale TBH, the phase changes of water at atmospheric pressure have always seemed too arbitrary for my liking anyway.
Counterpoint: kWh is also not an SI unit and we already have the Joule = 1 watt-second. (kWh = 3.6 Megajoule). Hours are a silly unit that introduce weird factors of 6. European packaging already lists energy in kilojoules as well.
We should do the same with kWh instead of liters for selling fuel, because ultimately this is what we're after when burning it.

My streaming was slowing down because of health issues caused by high stress that nearly killed me. After leaving the mountains and moving in with family I had to stop streaming because it was causing problems since they disagreed with my views.
I am currently working to get a place of my own in my hometown and start making a living working fulltime and streaming regularly again. I have plenty of stories to share from the craziness that has happened over the time I was gone and want to share that all with all of you.
Streaming has been incredibly fun and rewarding and has allowed me to meet a lot of people I'm proud to call friend. Both them and the chat have helped me through the toughest time of my life, and I sincerely say thank you and appreciate that from the bottom of my heart.
