Quand j'installe des système ubuntu ou dérivés j'aime bien activer flatpak et snap pour les utilisateurices CEPENDANT l'app store de gnome (software center, logiciels) donne toujours la priorité aux flatpak par rapport aux packages de la distribution, c'est cool pour les gens qui veulent la dernière version d'un soft mais pas cool pour les gens qui aiment avoir un truc qui JUSTE MARCHE
petite commande pour rétablir la bonne priorité:
gsettings set org.gnome.software packaging-format-preference "['deb', 'flatpak','snap']" <br>pour les autres distros, mettez "package" ou "RPM" à la place de "deb"

Comprendre l'intérêt pour les novices:
Vous avez plusieurs moyens de distribuer des applications sur linux, ici je parle des paquets de la distribution (package, deb ou RPM) des flatpak et des snap
les paquets de la distribution sont testés et maintenus par votre système linux: ubuntu, debian, zorin, linux mint, manjaro, etc, qui s'assure que les applications fonctionnent bien sur VOTRE système.
elles sont donc souvent plus fiables
cependant sont parfois moins à jour, peuvent avoir une ou deux versions de retard. La plupart du temps, c'est pas grave du tout, généralement vous voulez pas la toute dernière version de votre application.
Parfois aussi, vous allez vouloir une application qui n'a pas été publiée par votre distribution. Un exemple pour moi est l'application Rustdesk. En ce cas, j'aime pouvoir l'installer en flatpak, ou en snap, mais c'est tout de suite un cas largement plus rare. Les flatpak et les snap sont publiés directement par les développeureuses des applications, et donc ne nécessitent pas que les packageur s'en chargent eux-mêmes.
Là ma modification donne donc la priorité à la stabilité plutôt qu'à la nouveauté.

Yes, #Fedilab has some differences between its Google Play version and its #FDroid version.
There are mostly due to restrictions from Google.
In the Google app we had to remove:
- Donation links
- Register an account on Mastodon (as they don't want to understand that the app doesn't collect emails).
- Filter some search results with #Peertube to exclude "YouTube Downloader" videos
