i decided i should give an honest chance to some other platform that isn’t spotify, and after basically eliminating my options, the only left is amazon music it lacks some of my japanese stuff (only some utsu-p stuff is in there, for example), and well, no one is making playlists there
i feel the interface is clunkier (which impresses me, spotify already has clunky interface), but overall is alright i guess

@emberquill yeah, it is worse than amazon music in that regard, but only for some specific stuff, interface is a little better, but i know it also doesn’t have that “autoplay” feature, with the app never stopping playing, i hate this, but that’s important for my dad

HELP! I got a new phone a few days ago. I was able to install and login to the #nextcloud app without any issues. When I try to login to nextcloud from any other app (DAVx5, antennapod) I can't. I tried my credentials and app passwords. If you have any suggestions I'd love to hear them. This is driving me nuts. Everything works fine on my wife's phone.

why even produce corn anymore? i have no use for corn. don't consume HFCS or ethanol except in gasoline i guess. only eat grass fed meat. what else do i use corn for? it's basically only used for junk food and sprayed with glyphosate
@meowski Pretty much the entire economy around here revolves around corm an soybeans tho. Pretty insane how the farmers here are going to lose hundreds of thousands of dollars farming this year. Especially the ones that rent their land. The bigger the farmer the bigger the losses. I've talked to a few that are really freaking out. And like I can't mention anything related to building a shop around my dad because he immediately changes the subject to talking about corm prices. <deleted entitled millennial rant>
don't people eat foods other than corm and soy products? maybe they got used to government subsidies incenvitizing them to grow stuff people shouldn't be consuming. i know corm is heavily subsidized
@meowski Around us corn is pretty much all turned into Ethanol. The rest is used to fatten cattle or shipped to like China. Hardly any is for human consumption. The soy I think gets mostly made into hog and chicken feed or shipped away as well.
