darum geht es: um die konsolidierung der bisher hegemonial ausgeübten macht, durch ein gewaltregime auf allen ebenen: kapitalistisch, kulturell und aussenpolitisch. und netanjahu macht schon mal vor, wie letzteres aussieht.
man muss nur einmal verstehen, dass alle infrastrukturen in denen wir leben traumata reflektieren. das gilt für das konzept des nationalstaats genauso wie für die hygieneprüfung des trinkwassersystems und der anschnallpflicht. intergenerationale traumata spuken in jeder infrastruktur und auch in der sprache, in der wir uns selbst erzählen.
Also etwa die Abwesenheit von Zensus und Bevölkerungsstatistik im Libanon, oder von Grenzinfrastruktur an der EU-Außengrenze zu Nordirland.
Die Frage ist motiviert durch die Beobachtung, dass das Covid-Trauma eben keine dauerhafte Infrastruktur hinterlassen hat, obwohl es hätte sollen (Luftfilter). Sonder anekdotisch eher zu einem Rückgang von vorher selbstverständlicher (Masken im Gesundheitssektor).
@bifouba ja, das war eine der vielen schlachten, die die verdrängung gewonnen hat. und ja, sie hat ne menge infrastruktur hinterlassen, nur halt verdrängungsinfrastruktur.
Ok, aber deine Beispiele oben (Nationalstaat, Gurtpflicht, Wassermonitoring) sind allesamt "positive" Anwesenheit von Infrastruktur. Aber Lücken abwesender Infrastruktur können auch vielsagend sein. Das ist nochmal anders als Verdrängungsinfrastruktur, also anwesender Struktur, die der Abwesenheit von Erinnerung dient.
Das schließt sich doch nicht aus. Es kann doch sowohl Infrastruktur hinterlassen •als auch• (an anderer Stelle) Infrastrukturlücken. Warum willst du dich der Betrachtung letzterer verschließen?
hier, wie ich glaube, wie eine aufarbeitung des 30 jährigen kriegs und krieg im allgemeinen aussehen könnte: dieser krieg, wie andere kriege auch, passierte, weil ein paar dudes zu mächtig wurden. lasst uns dieses problem angehen. stattdessen wurde alles andere gemacht und riesige verdrängungsinfrastrukturen gebaut, die - überraschung - zu noch mehr kriegen führten. alles zum schutz der interessen der mächtigen.

Es erinnert mich an das Ereignis, als bei einem ehemaligen Arbeitgeber eingebrochen und ein Beamer geklaut wurde. Danach war es fast nicht zu verhindern, dass es Videoüberwachung gibt. Damit auf keinen Fall jemand wieder jemand den Beamer klaut. So werden vermutlich viele Gesetze gemacht.
Mir fällt auch ein, dass ich mal gehört habe, dass der Westfälische Frieden auch die Übereinkunft war, dass Religion kein Kriegsgrund in Europa mehr sein soll. Und bis zum Jugoslawien-Krieg hat das gehalten.
Warum nicht einen Schritt weiter (zurück)? Ich würde als Traumaauslöser die Bauernkriege setzen. Für mich das Epizentrum der Trennung Gemeinwohl -Privateigentum.
Ok, dann kommen wir auch der Ablehnung von "negativen” Abwesenheiten näher. Diese lassen sich natürlich nicht im gleichen Sinne "nutzen". Aber auch Abwesenheit lässt sich zumindest "ausnutzen”.

I'm sure you're right. I work with these folks & their lack of shame about inequality is extraordinary. But the one time I really see them go quiet is whewn confronted with the 'is that fair and/or OK?' point.
I often tell folks that approx 4.5m kids in Britain are now growing up in poverty, and I get all the usual 'yeah - but they've all got sky' and I point out a) no they don't and b) this isn't a stat they can argue with given it's provenance. Quieter after that.

Unfortunately that's where a lot of the worst political policies come from as well.
@tony @JimmyB @afewbugs I can confirm this, some of my relatives are pretty wealthy and have never been poor in any way and they say things like "if they just organised their money properly" and "they drink too much". You can tell they have absolutely no idea, I try not to fight with them as it would make no difference, I think the only thing that would is if they spent a few months living as a lot of poor people live, like to see them organise their way out.
