@skylar So it did have one, but it might be misnamed. Saw an AI answer that said EFI/BOOT/BOOTX64.EFI had to be all caps and the mine wasnโt. Again, no idea if this is true. I couldnโt rename the files at all so not sure it matters to me if thatโs the problem. Right now Iโm erasing the usb to get rid of the 5gb free space partition. Then Iโll remake the boot partition using the whole usb and try again.
@skylar Yea I tried FAT32 and FAT32 EFI with the bootable box checked. Maybe we're not talking about the same thing? All I'm doing is using the restore partition option with disks in linux using the iso file.
@skylar Not sure. I just downloaded balena which does work but I don't think linux mint has the ability to unzip files. I have never gotten it to unzip anything without an abort error.

And the foundations of democracy need both protection from novel threats and a thorough modernization, including moving away from winner-take-all systems.
Elections are the most fundamental framework of our political incentives, and nothing else survives when that shared premise collapses.
A democracy can handle disagreement; it cannot survive a system where losing feels illegitimate and the winners can use unlimited power to stifle opposition.
