Under the guise of “public participation”, the settlement of #Efrat is establishing a new “artists’ center” - on private land belonging to Palestinians from the villages of Al Khader and Irtas. The land lies outside the settlent’s fence, in an area that was “temporarily” seized for security needs. The public wanted art? They got planned looting. Welcome to democracy, Efrat - style.
On Sunday, (May 4, #2025), Tani Goldstein published another surreal tale from the #WestBank on the Zman Israel news site, a story that captures the spirit of the place and the times we are living in.
On February 9, the local council of the settlement of Efrat published the following announcement on its website: “Let’s get started! On Wednesday evening, the first Public Participation session was held regarding an artists’ center that will be built in the Degan neighborhood. Thank you to all the residents and artists who came on a cold, stormy evening for an important and meaningful discussion in the council!” Link to the full text below.
The attached photos made it clear that the new center is to be built beyond the settlement’s fence, north of the Givat Hadagan neighborhood. About a week and a half later, on February 18, the settlement’s Facebook page published a follow up post: “After the Public Participation session that was held about two weeks ago, we went out into the field to plan the new artists’ center that will soon be built in the Hadagan neighborhood, in the Shlomo Promenade. We invited the regional directors of the Electra Afikim company to the tour. Electra Afikim company is generously donating five old buses to be renovated and turned into workspaces, studios, exhibition areas and gathering spaces.” This post, too, was accompanied by photos showing exactly where the “public” chose to build the new “artists’ center”. At this point, it is not hard to guess where things are headed. The “public” in Efrat decided to establish the Artists’ Center on private land belonging to residents of the villages of Irtas and Al Khader, land that, naturally, lies outside the official boundaries of the settlement and even beyond the settlement’s fence that currently marks the northern perimeter of the settlement. In order to understand how we got here, let us briefly revisit the history of land looting in this area.
The settlement of Efrat was established in the late 1970s at what is today its most southern point (just north of road 3157). Since then, it has steadily expanded northward onto land that was looted from the residents of Irtas and Al Khader, primarily through declaring them as State Land.
In #2005, the army issued a series of “temporary” seizure orders for a strip of land to the east and north of the settlement of Efrat, designated for the construction of the separation barrier. In practice, the army began building the fence but never completed it. As a result, only a short segment of the route was broken north of the settlement of Efrat, within the agricultural lands belonging to residents of Irtas and Al Khader.
In #2014, large - scale construction began in the northern areas of the settlement of Efrat (Giv'at Hadagan and Giv'at Hatamar), and the path that was originally broken for the separation barrier - that was never actually built - was repurposed. Settlers began dumping construction debris there, eventually turning the area into a parking lot.
Over the past year, the #settlement went even further, by building a food court on part of that same strip, which now has several eateries and cafés. After all, this is what the public in the settlement of Efrat wants.
And now, the public has decided it wants even more: to take over additional privately owned lands belonging to residents of Al Khader and Irtas, lands that were “temporarily” seized in order to build an “artists’ center”. After all it is their right of course, this is how things work in the only democracy in the Middle East.

I have never unintentionally gotten a virus or malware (and my experience predates any version of Windows). (I say unintentionally because I've unzipped untrustworthy shareware on test machines in the days before virtualizatiom).
I just shut down a Win7 box in 2024. There are still DOS-based Windows boxes out there running things like CNC machines.
They aren't "unsafe", because they're properly isolated, properly managed.
The problem with user machines is the user themselves. Don't run as admin, don't click on shit you don't know what it does. End users see a dialog box as a barrier, not information - they just click it away. No amount of OS upgrades are going to protect them from their own laziness. And frankly, I have no sympathy for them.
Simply not running as Admin prevents 90%+ of consumer security concerns.
As support for family and friends, I'm not sending them to Linux (though I use 3 distros every day). I don't have time to handhold them when problems arise - things like "my mouse doesn't work". Oh, you're running a distro that doesn't support the most common mouse in the world, but I only found that out by doing a web search. Yet other distros have no problem. But those other distros have their differences that will eventually show up. Laptop power management in Linux is practically non-existent.

I keep having to say this, as much as I like Linux for certain things, as a desktop it's still no competition to Windows, even with this awful shit going on.
As some background - I had my first UNIX class in about 1990.
I run a Mint laptop (for the hell of it, and I do mean hell) . Power management is a joke. Configured as best as possible, walked in the other day and it was dead - as in battery at zero, won't even boot.
Windows would never do this, no, Windows could never do this. It is incapable of running a battery to zero, it'll shutoff before then to protect the battery. To really kill it you have to boot to BIOS and let it sit, Windows will not let a battery get to zero.
There's no way even possible via the Mint GUI to config power management for things like low/critical battery conditions /actions. None, nada, zip, not at all. Command line only, in the twenty-first century, something Windows has had since I don't recall, 95 I think (I was carrying a laptop then, and I believe it had hibernate, sorry, it's been what, almost thirty years now).
There are many reasons why Linux doesn't compete with Windows on the desktop - this is just one glaring one.
Now let's look at Office. Open an Excel spreadsheet with tables in any app other than excel. Tables are something that's just a given in excel, takes 10 seconds to setup, and you get automatic sorting and filtering, with near-zero effort. The devs of open office refuse to support tables, saying "you should manage data in a proper database app". While I don't disagree with the sentiment, no, I'm not setting up a DB in an open-source competitor to Access. That's just too much effort for simple sorting and filtering tasks, and isn't realistically shareable with other people. I do this several times a day in excel.
Now there's that print monitor that's on by default, and can only be shut up by using a command line. Wtf? Again, in the 21st century?
Networking... Yea, samba works, but how do you clear creds you used one time to connect to a share, even though you didn't check the box for "save creds"? (Wait, so what does that checkbox do then?) Oh, yea, command line again or go download an app to clear them for for you. In the 21st century?
Oh, you have a wireless Logitech mouse? Linux won't even recognize it. You have to search for a solution and go find a third-party download that makes it work. My brand new wireless mouse works on any version of Windows since Win2k (at the least) and would probably work on Win95. Linux didn't even recognize my ten year old Logitech mouse. And you folks keep saying Linux supports more stuff than Windows? Right.

Every time I've installed Linux as my main OS (many, many times since I was younger), it gets to an eventual point where every single thing I want to do requires googling around to figure out problems. While it's gotten much better, I always ended up reinstalling Windows or using my work Mac. Like one day I turn it on and the monitor doesn't look right. So I installed twenty things, run some arbitrary collection of commands, and it works.... only it doesn't save my preferences.
So then I need to dig into .bashrc or .bash_profile (is bashrc even running? Hey let me investigate that first for 45 minutes) and get the command to run automatically.. but that doesn't work, so now I can't boot.. so I have to research (on my phone now, since the machine deathscreens me once the OS tries to load) how to fix that... then I am writing config lines for my specific monitor so it can access the native resolution... wait, does the config delimit by spaces, or by tabs?? anyway, it's been four hours, it's 3:00am and I'm like Bryan Cranston in that clip from Malcolm in the Middle where he has a car engine up in the air all because he tried to change a lightbulb.
And then I get a new monitor, and it happens all damn over again. Oh shit, I got a new mouse too, and the drivers aren't supported - great! I finally made it to Friday night and now that I have 12 minutes away from my insane 16 month old, I can't wait to search for some drivers so I can get the cursor acceleration disabled. Or enabled. Or configured? What was I even trying to do again? What led me to this?
I just can't do it anymore. People who understand it more than I will downvote and call me an idiot, but you can all kiss my ass because I refuse to do the computing equivalent of building a radio out of coconuts on a deserted island of ancient Linux forum posts because I want to have Spotify open on startup EVERY time and not just one time. I have tried to get into Linux as a main dev environment since 1997 and I've loved/liked/loathed it, in that order, every single time.
I respect the shit out of the many people who are far, far smarter than me who a) built this stuff, and 2) spend their free time making Windows/Mac stuff work on a Linux environment, but the part of me who liked to experiment with Linux has been shot and killed and left to rot in a ditch along the interstate.
Now I love Linux for my services: Proxmox, UnRAID, TrueNAS, containers for Syncthing, PiHole, Owncloud/NextCloud, CasaOS/Yuno, etc, etc. I even run a few Windows VM's on Linux (Proxmox) because that's better than running Linux VM's on a Windows server.
Linux is brilliant for this stuff. Just not brilliant for a desktop, let alone in a business environment.
Linux doesn't even use a common shell (which is a good thing in it's own way), and that's a massive barrier for users.
If it were 40 years ago, maybe Linux would've had a chance to beat MS, even then it would've required settling on a single GUI (which is arguably half of why Windows became a standard, the other half being a common API), a common build (so the same tools/utilities are always available), and a commitment to put usability for the inexperienced user first.
These are what MS did in the 1980's to make Windows attractive to the 3 groups who contend with desktops: developers, business management, end users.
All this without considering the systems management requirements of even an SMB with perhaps a dozen users (let alone an enterprise with tens of thousands).

That's understandable. The last time I was able to install a brand printer successfully without issues in Windows was back then in Windows 7. In comparison, Linux doesn't even let me try to install the printer. I just plug them in and they're ready and they work. How can I fix this???
Short of becoming a developer, I think the fix is participation in Linux communities. Participate in forums, create issues in relevant repos, and be the change you want to see in the world. I know that doesn't get you printing now, but we all need to put in a little work now to build the world we want. And if we all pull together rather than flex our egos, things will improve.
I think you didn't get my point. I meant in Windows I have to fight to install the printer, but in Linux I can't even do that because Linux is too good and handles the printing perfectly for me.
That said if what you are suggesting is we could create issues in relevant repos to make the hardware install process in Linux more... interactive like it is in Windows, with an assistant that tries in vain to download drivers from the internet, a "shield" that asks you to load the drivers from a floppy disk A:\ and that needs a hardware reboot every time you plug in a new USB mouse.... hmmm.... maybe you are on to something.
Y'all don't want to hear this, but most people aren't going to switch to Linux. Some might pay someone to install LTSC, but the vast majority of of people are going to cave to Microsoft and buy a new PC.
I might have agreed 10 years or so ago, but Linux has changed and this is entirely dependent upon the distribution and use case. Linux will hold onto the image of being a "difficult" OS for some amount of time of course, but I really don't believe that is necessarily the case any longer.
I installed Mint for my parents who are in their 70's ~4 months ago, showed them how to run updates, configured automatic backups, and I haven't heard a peep since except for the few times they told me they liked it a lot more than windows because they feel like it's a lot easier to find where stuff is. They can browse the internet as needed, work in Libre office as needed, get to all of their emails as needed, etc - they have actually 0 problems with it meeting their needs.
The same could be said about Windows. It's a bad idea for people to use Windows without installing it themselves because they are dependent on MS and the OEM that installed it for them.
Better that they'd be dependent on someone that cares about them than soulless corps that just want to exploit them.

Ben il y a une part de vérité dans le fond du texte. Meurice, Barré ne sont pas des anarchistes illégalistes. Ils sont dans le système (tout comme la plupart de nous qui bossont) mais Casaux devrait se regarder dans une glace par moment. Il se prend pour un écologiste radicale, il mange de la viande. Alors pour continuer avec son petit plaisir, il sort un article bourré de conneries sur le véganisme et expliquant que c'est pas le véganisme qui va sauver la planète quand on sait que l'élevage produit 14,5 % de GES (dixit le GIEC) soit plus que tous les transports réunis (avion, voitures, bateaux, trains). Une personne qui se dit écologiste et qui mange de la viande est un imposteur. Sans parler du non consentement des animaux qui vont à l'abattoir. Pour un mec qui se dit contre toutes formes d'oppression... Il doit bien entendu préciser dans son article que Paul Preciado était avant Beatriz (transphobe un jour transphobe toujours).

TRANSPHOBE, IL EST TRANSPHOBE, OH MON DIEU QUEL NAZI Lorsque je publie un texte sur n’importe quel sujet et que des gens le partagent, il se trouve toujours de fiers défenseurs de la Vertu et du Bien – et surtout de la ligne du Parti – pour faire valoir que tout ce que je produis n’a aucune valeur, étant donné que je serais un affreux « transphobe », donc d’extrême droite, voire cryptofasciste, en raison des vues que je défends concernant le phénomène trans. Les personnes qui m’accusent de « transphobie » refusent presque toujours de soutenir un échange sur le sujet. Le débat est inenvisageable. Aucune discussion logique n’est admise. Il n’est même pas possible d’essayer de comprendre en quoi je serais « transphobe ». Je le suis, et puis c’est tout. Parce que c’est ainsi. Parce que d’autres l’ont dit. Ou parce que j’ai émis une critique ou un désaccord concernant les idées ou revendications transidentitaires, lesquelles valent parole d’Évangile pour une immense masse de gens, notamment à gauche, aujourd’hui. Moi, contrairement à ces suiveurs, à ces couillons de Panurge qui gangrènent les milieux militants contemporains, je sais de quoi je parle. Je me suis farci des dizaines de livres, y compris de personnes soi-disant « trans », et même d’« historiens trans ». J’ai sous-titré plusieurs documentaires et traduit de nombreux articles sur le sujet. Je me suis plongé dans la littérature « trans » produite depuis les années 60. J’ai parcouru des archives. Si bien qu’avec une amie, on a publié un livre sur le phénomène trans en 2023, qu’on a intitulé « Né(e)s dans la mauvaise société — Notes pour une critique féministe et socialiste du phénomène trans ». En voici une récente chronique : « Essai magistral sur la question trans d'Audrey A. (Audrey Aard) et Nicolas Casaux aux éditions Le Partage. Pas de sottises de droite ou pseudo-conservatrices mais une critique conséquente, argumentée, féministe et technocritique d'un phénomène aveuglément soutenu par une gauche qui n'en saisit ni les ressorts essentialistes, ni la dimension profondément misogyne, ni les liens avec le grand capital technologique, ni qu'il s'agit du pied dans la porte du transhumanisme, ni qu'il confirme et renforce le patriarcat et sa répartition de rôles et attendus sociaux que le féminisme n'a eu de cesse de démonter, ni encore qu'il constitue un vaste réseau de mensonges factuels qui curieusement ne posent pas de problèmes à la gauche qui ne se prive cependant pas – et à raison – de pointer les fake news de l'extrême droite et les infractions à la vérité et à l'exigence de preuve objective... Il écrit ou a écrit pour de nombreux médias de gauche (la revue Ballast, le Monde Diplomatique, Reporterre, la revue Esprit, etc.). Il est aussi traducteur (il a récemment co-traduit un très bon ouvrage paru aux éditions L’Échappée). On l’accusera donc difficilement d’être une crapule d’extrême droite nénonazie. Avis aux ignares qui nous injurient, qui nous calomnient, qui salissent notre réputation. N’hésitez pas, si le mouvement trans vous importe réellement, à réellement lire ce qu’on en dit, ce qu’on lui reproche, à réellement réfléchir et ensuite, et seulement ensuite, à nous faire part de vos griefs, s’il devait vous en rester. Mais bon, on sait bien qu’il est plus facile, plus rassurant, plus confortable, moins fatigant, de penser, dire et faire comme les autres, de suivre la ligne du Parti, de ne pas trop réfléchir par soi-même, de ne pas étudier sérieusement les choses dont on se permet de causer à tort et à travers. Pourquoi s’emmerder à passer des heures à examiner un sujet quand on peut se contenter de répéter fervemment ce qu’en disent les gens autour ?! Dans le cas du mouvement trans, cette propension humaine au mimétisme paresseux produit des milliers d’abruti∙es qui serinent des slogans du type « les femmes trans sont des femmes », « les droits trans sont des droits humains », etc., sans rien connaître ou comprendre sérieusement ce qu’ils impliquent. Antonio Gramsci a fameusement écrit sa haine des « indifférents », estimant que « vivre signifie être partisan », que « celui qui vit vraiment ne peut qu’être citoyen, et prendre parti », que « l’indifférence est le poids mort de l’histoire », « la matière inerte où se noient souvent les enthousiasmes les plus resplendissants » : « l’indifférence c’est l’aboulie, le parasitisme, la lâcheté, ce n’est pas la vie ». Si je partage son sentiment, j’ajouterais cependant que « le mal qui s’abat sur tout », les horreurs et les catastrophes qui jonchent l’histoire humaine, incombent également à nombre de « partisans », mais de partisans suiveurs, moutonniers (mes excuses aux moutons, qui valent bien mieux), de sectateurs grégaires, de prosélytes conformistes (ou réciproquement). Je hais les suiveurs, celles et ceux qui s’empressent toujours de hurler avec les loups, autant que les indifférents. Le suivisme aussi est une « matière brute, rebelle à l’intelligence qu’elle étouffe ». Et contrairement à ce que beaucoup de gens de gauche semblent croire, les rangs de la gauche ne sont sans doute pas beaucoup moins rongés par le suivisme, pas beaucoup moins remplis de moutons-partisans que ceux de la droite. C'est vous autres qui le refusez car vous savez en votre fort intérieur que vous avez tort mais comme disait Berthold Brecht :"la bouffe d'abord, la morale après". Casaux n'est pas un facho loin de là mais il semble obnubilé par le transgenrisme et pas pour les défendre. Tout comme les anti végan, il associe le transgenrisme au transhumanisme et autre merde pour les salir. On nous sort les même ficelles (vous les végan.e.s vous supportez Bill Gates et sa viande en cellule souche, vous êtes des capitalistes, etc, etc..) bref les raccourcis classiques. Il tente de nager à contre courant pour se faire remarquer (genre son article sur Meurice, Barré) mais les milieux libertaires l'ont bien ciblés et les sites comme Paris-luttes.info, rébellion lui crachent dessus. Je pense qu'ils n'ont pas tort.

Il juge sans savoir (est-il trans ?). Il se vante d'avoir lu des livres sur le sujet, comme si cela lui donnait le droit de condamner. Je reprends mon exemple (ma vie, mon corps) : faut il avoir lu des livres sur l'avortement pour pouvoir décider si oui ou non les femmes doivent être libres ? Mais c'est tellement facile de s'en prendre à des minorités, tellement populaire (voire son succès, à la Onfray effectivement) de s'attaquer aux divergents…
De même que détourner le problème du massacre animal avec des arguments type "le véganisme ne sauvera pas la planète", comme si la planète ou même l'écologie avait un lien avec les vegans, comme s'il n'y avait pas parmi eux des climatosceptique. Je n'en sais rien, mais ce que je sais c'est que l'empathie envers les autres animaux, avec ceux qui ont l'intelligence de vivre en s'adaptant au monde au lieu de le détruire, est une cause en soi, sans rapport direct avec l'idée de sauver la planète. Là où les sujets se rejoignent c'est qu'effectivement, il suffirait d'éradiquer l'humanité pour tout aille mieux, la planète et ses habitants. Mais je crois pas que ce soit son propos, il aime trop juger pour se passer des autres.
En fait, j’ai le sentiment que sont but est de tout politiser. En s’en prenant à des causes qui n’ont strictement rien de politique, à des choix de vie individuels qui ne devraient avoir aucune influence sur le fait d’être de droite ou de gauche. Qu’il s’en sert uniquement pour attaquer la gauche, une gauche qui n’est pas à son goût soit disant, mais surtout, en fait, pour déculpabiliser tous ceux qui virent à droite sans oser encore (se) l’avouer. C’est un passeur en fait, dont les armes sont l’hypocrisie, la manipulation et le détournement des vrai causes.
Le problème avec vous,@erdu& @L'intrus , c'est que vous assimilez toute critique d'un mouvement et d'idées à une critique voire une condamnation des personnes qui les portent. C'est comme si vous affirmiez qu'on est antisémite parce qu'on critique l'État d'Israël pour sa politique. Vous semblez refuser d'accepter que les représentations portées par le transgenrisme sont misogynes et que ses revendications sont largement sexistes. Vous considérez alors que ces critiques s'en prennent à une minorité qu'il faut défendre quel que soit son positionnement, en tant que minorité (raisonnement dangereux). Personne ici je crois n'appelle à discriminer qui que ce soit. La position de Casaux, comme la mienne, consiste avant tout à lutter contre la misogynie et le sexiste porté (consciemment ou non) par ce mouvement, donc à défendre les droits de femmes. Aucune personne, quelle qu'elle soit, n'est légitime à porter atteinte aux droits d'autres personnes. Ce qu'on lit ou entend parfois sous l'appellation « droits des personnes trans » ne sont pas des droits mais des revendications. Dès lors qu'elles s'opposent aux droits des femmes, elles ne sont pas légitimes. Sans doute est-il possible de discuter certains points, mais nullement d'accepter comme vérité absolue des revendications sexistes.

Ours Noir: là où je ne suis pas d'accord avec toi c'est d'englober tout le mouvement transgenrisme et de les accuser de sexisme et de mysoginie.. C'est un peu pour reprendre ton expression, accuser tous les juifs de ce que fait Israel au lieu d'accuser les sionistes. Et c'est un peu ce que fait Cazaux. Il prends un einfime partie du mouvement et nous fait croire qu ele mouvement transgenrisme est ainsi. Si tel était le cas, les drapeaux LGBTQ+ auraient été brulés dans les manifs mais ils flottent dans les sections féministes. Cazqux nous avait sorti une vidéo comme quoi les féministes radicales étaient contre le transgenrisme. En vrai c'était deux meufs qui se disaient féministes radicales mais qui étaient surtout terf.

Le mouvement trans ne s'opposent pas au droit des femmes, il cherche sa place entre les hommes et les femmes mais tant qu'on restera sur nos positions un homme/une femme, on aura du mal à leur faire un espace. Je crois surtout que certaines femmes qui se sont battus pour leur droit voient arriver un mouvement d'entre-deux et ont peur que cela décrédibilise leur cause, leurs avancées. Les hommes ont vu d'un sale oeil la montée de la cause des femmes, les blancs ont vu d'un sale oeil la montée de la cause des noir.e.s. N'en sommes-nous pas là tout simplement ? A vrai dire je ne comprends pas, même si je n'ai rien contre la critique, pourquoi s'en prendre à qui ne dérange personne, n'a aucune intention de transformer la société ou de faire de mal à qui que ce soit, et qui demande simplement les mêmes droits de vivre que n'importe qui, au même titre que les drag queens ou les musulmans (et attention, je ne dis pas que tous les drag queens sont musulmans - d'ailleurs peut on être franc-maçon et musulman ? Ce qui prouve donc bien que je ne rejette pas totalement les critiques qui s’en prennent à une minorité qu’il faut défendre quel que soit son positionnement, en tant que minorité (raisonnement dangereux).. Ce qui m'énerve chez Cazaux et tant d'autres c'est qu'il s'acharne sur un petit point du mouvement au point de nous faire croire que tout le mouvement est comme ça. À croire que le féminisme est en danger à cause du transgenrisme.
Il y a plein de truc à régler dans le transgenrisme. C'est nouveau, les gens osent se dévoiler mais ne pas faire n'importe quoi non plus. L'histoire du sport (catégories homme ou femme ou autres), les toilettes, les opérations . Au lieu de les accompagner et s'assurer que leur choix est vraiment leur propre conviction, s'assurer comme le dit le texte que ce n'est pas une psychopatologie ignorée, j'ai l'impression que pas mal de gens vont chercher la petite bête dans le mouvement au lieu de leur faire une place. On a connu pareil avec le mouvement antispéciste et son sexisme (avéré. La majorité des personnes véganes antispécistes sont des femmes et la majorité des leaders des différents mouvements sont des hommes). En faire un article pour le dénoncer c'est très bien, revenir sans cesse sur le sujet, ça devient de la transphobie.
Je ne suis pas d'accord : lorsqu'on prend conscience qu'un mouvement est nocif et rétrograde (pour ne pas dire « réactionnaire »), il m'apparaît utile de le rappeler pour que cela n'échappe à personne. Nicolas Casaux aborde le sujet sous divers angles et je trouve cela très intéressant.

Osmanlı Devleti ile, başta Çerkesler olmak üzere, Kuzey Kafkasya arasındaki ilişkiler çok eskilere dayanmaktadır. Daha sürgün öncesinde Osmanlı Devletine ve İstanbul’a gelip yerleşen, asker-bürokrat olan ve yazarlık-gazetecilik yapan, devlete hizmet eden binlerce Çerkes vardır.
Ama Çerkeslerin Rusya imparatorluğuna karşı bağımsızlık ve özgürlük savaşını kaybetmeleri ve soykırıma ( 1864 ) uğramaları sonrasında, Osmanlı Devleti ile Çarlık Rusyası arasında yapılan anlaşma ile yüzbinlerce ( ciddi kaynaklara göre 1.5 milyon Çerkes ve Kuzey Kafkasyalı ) Osmanlı devletine sürgün edildi. Ve bunlar geniş Osmanlı coğrafyasına dağınık olarak yerleştirildi.
Çerkeslerin görece daha yoğun veya topluca yerleştirildikleri coğrafyalardan biri olan Marmara bölgesi 20. Yüzyılın başlarında siyasi olarak hayli hareketliydi. Bölgede hem Osmanlı Sarayına sadık güçler faaliyet gösteriyordu hem de İttihat ve Terakki taraftarları: daha sonra ulusal kurtuluş hareketini örgütleyen Kuvva’i Milliyeciler ve Kuvva’i Seyyareciler.
Bu güçlerin hepsine Çerkesler aktif ve kitlesel olarak katıldılar. Saray’a ve İstanbul hükümetine sadık olanlar Anzavur Ahmet’in saflarında, kurtuluş savaşına katılan Çerkesler ise Kuvva’i Milliye ve Kuvva’i Seyyare saflarında örgütlenmişlerdi. Ayrıca Teşkilat’ı Mahsusa’da da örgütün başkanlarından Kuşçubaşı Eşref ve kardeşi de dahil olmak üzere epey bir Çerkes vardı.
İstanbul Hükümeti Sivas Kongresi’nden sonra 7000 kişilik bir Hilafet Ordusu ( resmi adıyla “Kuvva’i İnzibatiye” ) kurmuş, başına Osmanlı’ya bir ara Jandarma Zabitliği de yapan Bigalı Ahmet Anzavur’u getirmişti. Anzavur Ahmet, Kuvva’i Milliyecilerin dine ve Halife’ye karşı olduğu propagandası ile Marmara ve Ege bölgesinden ağırlıklı olarak Çerkeslerden oluşan büyük birlikler kurdu.
Ankara’nın Anzavur Ahmet’in güçlerini bastırması için görevlendirdiği kişi ise yine başka bir Çerkes, Ethem Bey oldu. Ethem Bey’i ve kardeşleri Reşit ve Tevfik Bey’leri milli kurtuluş savaşına katılmaya davet edenler ise Rauf Orbay ve Bekir Sami Bey’lerdi.
Ethem Bey de, tıpkı Ahmet Anzavur gibi, ağırlıklı olarak Marmara Bölgesi’nden, Gönen, Balıkesir, Bandırma ve Bursa Çerkeslerinden topladı kuvvetlerini. Sonra bunlara İzmir bölgesinden “efe”ler ve “çete”ler de katıldı.
O yıllarda Ankara’nın ne Ege’yi işgal eden Yunanlılarla savaşacak ne de çıkan isyanları bastıracak ciddi bir gücü yoktu. Bu işi Ethem Bey’in komuta ettiği Kuvva’i Seyyare üstlendi. Ethem Bey bir yandan Ege’de Yunanlılarla savaşırken diğer yandan Anzavur Ahmet, Bolu, Düzce, Adapazarı ve Yozgat Çapanoğlu isyanlarını hem de çok kanlı bir şekilde bastırdı.
Burada şunu vurgulamak gerekiyor: Anzavur Ahmet’in ve Ethem Bey’in birliklerine, kendileri de Çerkes olmaları nedeniyle, Çerkesler yoğun bir şekilde katılmışlarsa da biri İstanbul Hükümetine, diğeri de Ankara Hükümetine hizmet etmişti, iki gücün de ulusal bir hedefi ve karakteri yoktu.
Sonunda, düzenli orduya katılmayı reddeden, lider karakterli, Mustafa Kemal’e göre daha “halkçı” olan “Çerkes Ethem” yine bir Çerkes olan Anzavur Ahmet’i; Ankara da Ethem Bey’i tasfiye etti.
Ankara İstiklal Mahkemesi Ethem Beyi, kardeşlerini ve diğer Kuvva’i Seyyare mensuplarını ( kimisini gıyabında ) İstiklal Mahkemelerinde yargıladı ve vatana ihanet suçundan idama mahkum etti veya ağır cezalar verdi. Suçu sabit olmayanlar sınır dışı edildi ve Çerkes halkı bu iki güce hizmet ettiği ile kaldı.
Bazıları Osmanlı Devleti’nin sürgünle gelen Çerkeslere “kucak açtığını” düşünse de gerçek böyle değildir. Osmanlı devleti, Avrupa’da, Orta Doğu’da ve Afrika’da büyük toprak kayıpları yaşadığı ve “Anadolu’ya” doğru çekildiği yıllarda Müslüman-asker nüfusuna ihtiyaç duyuyordu. İşte Çerkesler Osmanlı devletinin bu ihtiyacına cevap oldular.
İstanbul hükümeti Çarlık Rusyasına Çerkesleri kabul etmeye hazır olduğunu bildirdi, anlaşma yaptı ve tarihi vatanları Çerkesya’dan sürgün edilen Çerkesleri “sınır boyları”nda yaşayan ve Osmanlı devletinden haz duymayan topluluklar arasına yerleştirdi.
Ama 1. Dünya Savaşı sonrası, Osmanlı Devleti’nden Türkiye Cumhuriyeti’ne geçiş döneminde ve Türkiye Cumhuriyeti’nin ilk yıllarında “devletin” Çerkeslere yönelik politikası çeşitli nedenlerle değişmeye başladı.
Kimileri “İngilizlerin etkisi ile”, kimileri de “İttihat ve Terakki’nin baskısıyla” diyorlar, ama asıl neden, Türkiye Cumhuriyeti’nin kuruluş felsefedir.
Türkiye Cumhuriyeti’ni kuran kadrolar, Lozan Anlaşması’nda da teyit edildiği gibi, bir “Türk Ulus Devleti” inşa ediyorlardı. Ve ekonomik-siyasi-askeri kuruluş sürecinde kendilerine “sorun çıkarabilecekler”ini düşündükleri kişileri, toplulukları, halkları ve kurumları tasfiye ettiler, sindirdiler.
Bu çerçevede Çerkes İttihad ve Teavün Cemiyeti, Çerkes Kadınları Teavün Cemiyeti, Çerkes Numune Mektebi ile Diyane ve Ğuaze gazeteleri, 1920’li yıllarda, arka arkaya kapatıldılar veya kapandılar. Çerkes Numune Mektebi’nin müdiresi Seza Hanım, General Nazmi Paşa ve General Doktor İsa Ruhi Paşa gibi isimler tutuklandılar. El konulan arşivler, belgeler yakılıp yok edildiler.
Bazı tarihçiler, Ethem’in, yöntemlerinin ve “Yeşil Ordu” ile kurduğu ilişkilerin Kurtuluş Savaşı’na maddi destek veren yerel eşrafı ve tüccarları korkuttuğu ve Batılı güçlerin de güvenini sağlamak için Ankara tarafından tasfiye edildiğini söylüyorlar. Ama Çerkeslerin tasfiyesi Milli Mücadele sonrasında da devam etti.
1923’te toplanan Lozan Barış Konferansı’nda tartışılan azınlıklar arasında Çerkesler de vardı. İngiliz Dışişleri Bakanı Lord Curzon Çerkeslere azınlık statüsünün tanınmasını istiyordu. Ama İsmet Paşa, Kürtler için söylediğini Çerkesler için de tekrar etti: “Çerkesler bizim öz kardeşimizdir”.
Bu nasıl kardeşlikse, Ethem ve kuvvetleri tasfiye edildikten sonra “150’likler” gündeme geldi. 1 Ağustos 1914 ile 20 Kasım 1922 arasında işlenen ( Ermeni Tehciri de dahil ) suçlara karışanlara genel af gelirken, kurtuluş savaşına kitlesel olarak katılan, büyük fedakarlıklar gösteren Çerkesler 150’liklere alındı. Aslında liste daha uzundu, 6000 kişi olduğu söyleniyordu, böylece iktidara muhalif olan veya olabilecek herkesin listeye alınması isteniyordu. Büyük tartışmalardan sonra sayı 150’ye indi. Ama bunların 86’sı, ne tesadüf!, Çerkesti.
Özetlemek gerekirse, 11 Eylül 1920’den Mayıs 1923’e kadar görev yapan 14 İstiklal Mahkemesi’nde casusluk, bozgunculuk, asker kaçağı olmak, eşkıyalık yapmak, saltanat yanlısı olmak veya isyancılık yapmak gibi suçlamalarla toplam 59.164 kişi yargılandı, bunların 41.678’ine çeşitli cezalar verildi ve 1054 idam cezası infaz edildi. İktidara yakın olanlar affedildi, ama çoğunluğu Çerkes olan 150 kişi af kapsamı dışında bırakıldı.
Sayının neden 150 olduğunu kimse bilmiyor. “Bazılarına göre bu sayı İngilizlerin 1919’da Malta’ya götürdüğü 150 kişiye nazire idi. Bazılarına göre görüşmeler yapıldığı sırada zaten 150 kadar ‘hain’ yurtdışına çıkmıştı. Fiili durumu hukuki duruma çevirmek için 150 kişi denmişti”.
16 Nisan 1924 tarihli TBMM’de yapılan gizli celse, listenin nasıl oluşturulduğuna dair bir fikir veriyor.
“Kürsüye çıkan Dâhiliye Vekili Ferit Bey, Emniyet tarafından hazırlanan 600 kişilik ilk listenin önce 300 kişiye sonra 150 kişiye indirildiğini belirtmiş ardından bu kişilerin nasıl seçildiğini anlatmıştı. Ancak liste kimseyi memnun etmedi.
Her kafadan bir ses çıkıyor, şu veya bu kişinin neden listede olmadığı soruluyordu. Örneğin İzmir Mebusu Şükrü (Saraçoğlu) Bey, listede hiç Rum ve Ermeni olmamasından yakınırken, Çorum Mebusu Mustafa Bey de kendisine destek çıkıyordu: ‘Aynı cürmü irtikâp edenlerden aynı suçu işleyenlerden bir Türk, bir Rum var, bir Ermeni var, bir Arap, Arnavut var, bir Çerkes var. Binaenaleyh evvela Türk kalır, Ermeni veya Rum gider...’
Keza, Karesi Mebusu Ahmet Süreyya Bey, Ermeni, Rum ve Yahudilerin de listeye eklenmesini istedi, ama Dahiliye Vekili Ferit Bey “600 kişilik listede Rumlar ve Ermeniler de vardı ancak Lozan’da İsmet Paşa ile Venizelos arasında imzalanan ek protokolle Rumların ( dolayısıyle diğer gayrı müslimlerin ) listeye konmayacağına dair söz verdik” diyerek bu isteği reddetti.
İşte böyle oluşturulmuştu “hainler” listesi. Ama listede bu kadar çok Çerkesin olması, Çerkeslerin özellikle hedef seçildiğini düşündürüyor.
Ethem Bey ile iki kardeşi Reşit ve Tevfik Beyler ve Ethem’in dört adamı ile Teşkilatı Mahsusa’nın başkanı Kuşçubaşı Eşref ve Kardeşi Hacı Sami’nin de aralarında olduğu, 150’liklere dahil edilenlerden, çoğu Çerkes, bazıları şunlardı:

Çerkes köylüler “Türklere zulüm” ve “düşmanla işbirliği yapmak”la suçlandılar, 28 Mayıs 1927’de kabul edilen 1064 sayılı Kanun’la vatandaşlıktan çıkarıldılar ve mal-mülkleri müsadere edildi.
Listeden de görülebileceği gibi ( diğer: gazetecilerin, polislerin, askerlerin… olduğu gruplarda da Çerkesler vardı ) “GÖNEN-MANYAS SÜRGÜNÜ” “150’likler” ile birlikte ele alınmalıdır.
Devlet, listeye koyamadığı ve toplu olarak yaşayan Çerkes köylerini ülke içinde sürgün etme kararı aldı. Mayıs 1923’ten itibaren Gönen ve Manyas’a bağlı bazı köylerde yaşayan Çerkesler köylerinden çıkarılıp Afyon’a, Konya’ya, Niğde’ye ve Malatya’ya sürüldüler.
İlk olarak 18 Aralık 1922'de Gönen'e bağlı Mürüvvetler ( Çizemuğhable ) köyü topluca sürgün edilmişti. Buna ciddi bir tepkinin gösterilmemesi üzerine Mayıs 1923 tarihinden itibaren bölgede bulunan 14 Çerkes köyü daha boşaltıldı.

Bu köyler önce askerler tarafından kuşatıldı, sonra insanlar zorla evlerinden çıkarıldı, sadece az miktarda eşyalarını yanlarına almalarına izin verildi, bu nedenle malını mülkünü ve hayvanlarını yok pahasına satmak zorunda kalan Çerkesler topluca sürgün edildiler, yol boyunca hakarete uğradılar.
Önce Bandırma’ya getirildiler ve Bandırma’dan trenlerle Afyon ve Konya’ya, orada birkaç ay bekletildikten sonra da Niğde’ye ve Malatya’ya sevk edildiler.
Sürgüne ilk tepki gösteren Fetgeri Mehmet Bey oldu. Ardından Rauf Orbay ve başka birkaç Çerkes milletvekili, asker ve bürokrat seslerini yükselttiler. Bunun üzerine sürgün kararı kaldırıldı ve planlanan diğer sürgün kararları durduruldu.
Sürgün edilen Çerkeslerin bir kısmı köylerine geri döndüler, ama hem mal mülklerini kaybetmiş hem de bu zulüm ile örselenmişlerdi. Ve artık muhtarlarını kendileri seçemeyecek, köylerine Çerkes olmayan “kayyumlar” atanacaktı, Çerkesçe konuşmaları, hatta mızıka çalmaları ve geleneksel düğünleri bile yasaklanmıştı.
Kurallara uymayanlar şiddetle cezalandırıldılar.
Özetle, Osmanlı Devletinden Türkiye Cumhuriyeti’ne geçiş ve Türkiye Cumhuriyeti’nin kuruluş yılları Çerkesler için tasfiye ve yeni sürgün yıllarıdır. Kurtuluş Savaşı yıllarında Ankara Hükümetine başkaldıran diğer Müslüman topluluklarına karşı daha “insaflı” olunurken, Çerkeslere bu kadar acımasız davranılmasının nedeni büyük ihtimal Çerkesleri sindirmek, böylece asimile edilebilmeleri için uygun bir psikolojik ortam yaratmak içindi.
Gerek “Çerkes Ethem Olayı”nı, gerekse “150’likler”i ve Gönen-Manyas Sürgünü ve sonrasında “Vatandaş Türkçe Konuş” kampanyaları ile Çerkesçe’nin ve Çerkes isimlerinin yasaklanmasını, Çerkes yerleşim birimlerinin-köylerinin isimlerinin değiştirilmesini…
Çerkes halkı kollektif bilinç altına itti. Belki de 1864 yılında yaşadıklarımızın yanında bunlar devede kulak kaldığı için. Ama bütün bu haksızlıklar, baskılar ve hatta zulüm, Çerkes “aydınları”nın, asker ve bürokratlarının yeni kurulan Türkiye Cumhuriyeti ile kurdukları “özel ilişki” ile birleşince Çerkes halkının asimilasyonu hızlandı. Bilinci dumura uğradı.
Bu nedenle uzak ve yakın geçmişimizde yaşadığımız hiçbir haksızlığı unutmamak, asimilasyona karşı direncimizi arttırmada ve geleceğimizi inşa etmede önemli bir rol oynayacaktır.

Fikret Başkaya: Politik İslamın Sefaleti… “Halk hükümdarın dîni üzredir”
İbn-i Haldun
Bidayette Politik İslam, İngiliz Oriyantisleri tarafından sömürgelerdeki uluscu-aydınlıkcı-ilerici- sosyalist, hareketleri etkisizleştirmek amacıyla peydahlandı. Kolonyalist-emperyalist Batı, Müslüman dünyasında seküler, laik rejimlerin ortaya çıkmasını kendisi için büyük risk olarak görüyordu. Oysa, laikliğin keşfi insanlık ve uygarlık tarihinde önemli bir adımdır… Amaç, Müslüman dünyanın emperyalist statüko dahilinde kalmasını sağlamaktı. Müslümanların ancak bir İslam devletinde yaşayabilecekleri, laikliğin İslam’la bağdaşmazlığı tezi, başta Batılı “bilim erbabı” olmak üzere Batılılar tarafından ileri sürüldü, daha sonra da Müslüman alimler tarafından benimsendi, içselleştirildi ve pratik politikaya tercüme edildi…
Esasen İslam’ın laiklikle bağdaşmazlığı tezinin hiçbir inandırıcılığı yoktur… Mesela onuncu yüzyılda biri çıkıp, Hristiyan toplumlar için laiklik önerisinde bulunsaydı, her halde linç edilmezse, deli sayılıp tımarhaneye kapatılırdı ama laiklik 18 ve 19’uncu yüzyıllarda herkesin dilindeydi… Bu yüzden laiklik bazı dinlerle uyuşur, bazılarıyla uyuşmaz demek saçmadır… Eğer laiklik demokrasinin vazgeçilmezi, olmazsa olmasıysa ki, öyledir, o zaman soru şu olmalıdır: Kimin laikliğin gerçekleşmesinde çıkarı var, kimin engellenmesinde çıkarı var…
Gerçi Orta-Doğu’da bazı monarşiler krallıklar yıkıldı ama onların yerini otoriter, anti-demokratik rejimler aldı… Samir Amin’in yazdığı gibi, söz konusu rejimlerin başlarda halkın gözünde bir meşruluğu olsa da hiçbir zaman halk politik sürece dahil edilmemişti… Benzer bir durum az-çök Türkiye için de geçerlidir… Bu durum önemli bir zaaf unsuruydu… Halkın politik sürece aktif katılımı engellendi… İkinci bir önemli neden de söz konusu ülkelerde kısmen Türkiye’de de hiçbir zaman toplumsal bilince nüfuz etmiş bir “aydınlanma” ve “modernite devriminin” yaşanmamış olmasıdır… Başka türlü ifade edersek, Batı’da olduğu gibi, geleneksel kültür ve ideolojiyle cepheden bir hesaplaşma yaşanmadı…
Başka ülkelerde olduğu gibi bizde de ‘Politik İslam’ yükselen ilerici-demokratik-sosyalist hareketin önünü kesmek üzere sahneye sürüldü… Arkasında başta devlet olmak üzere ABD, Suudî Vahabiliği ve parası vardı… Gerici-karanlıkcı Suudî rejimi 60-70 yıldır şeriat sponsorluğu yapıyor…
Demokrasi ancak laik bir rejimde mümkündür. Eğer din kamusal alanın, politika alanının dışına çıkarılmazsa, orada demokrasiden söz etmek abestir… Demokrasi ancak din, kimliğin bir unsuru-bileşeni değilse mümkün olabilir… Politikanın dine karıştığı, müdahale ettiği yerde laiklik bir retorik, içi boş söylem olmanın ötesine geçemez… Bizdeki dinci partilerle, Batı’daki Hristiyan Demokrat Partiler arasında benzerlik olduğu izlenimi yaratılmak isteniyor. Oysa Batı’nın Hristiyan toplumları laikliği çokta bir temel ilke olarak kabullenmiş durumdalar…
Orada bizdeki “Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığı” gibi kurumlar yok… Okullarda zorunlu din dersi de… Laik bir ülkede “Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığı’ diye bir kurum olamaz… Batı’da devlet Kilise personeline, Rahiplere maaş vermez… Siz dine karışırsanız, din de size karışır… Her ne kadar referansı kutsallığa dayansa da son tahlilde din de bir ideolojidir ve yoruma tabidir… İbn-i Haldun boşuna “Halk hükümdarın dini üzredir” demiyor… Halkın dini her zaman egemenin-hükümdarın, efendinin, mülk sahibi sınıfların dinidir… Dinin gerici-karanlıkçı, anti-demokratik, özgürlük, sosyal eşitlik ve adalet karşıtı bir yorumu olabileceği gibi, özgürlüğü, eşitliği, adaleti esas alan bir yorumu da pekâla mümkündür… Bu ikinci durum geçerli olursa, din bir özgürlük teolojisine dönüşür… Eğer yapılan dinî yorum, ezilenleri, sömürülenleri, aşağılananları, mazlumları gözetiyorsa, İslamî bir özgürlük teolojisinin de yolu açılmış demektir… Bunu Hristiyan-Katolik din adamları başardıysa, Müslüman din adamlarının da başarması neden mümkün olmasın?
Sudan’lı Şeyh Mahmut Taha, İslam dünyasında bir istisna idi… İslamın İkinci Mesajı adlı eserinde bir İslamî Özgürlük Teolojisi öneriyordu… Müslüman Kardeşler tarafından idam edildi… Şeyh Mahmut Taha idam edildi zira o İslam’ın gerici-özgürlük ve sosyal eşitlik karşıtı, anti-demokratik egemen yorumunu reddediyordu…
Şimdilerde din tam bir sanayiye dönüştü, kapitalizm dini de hizaya getirdi… Artık gerçek anlamda inançla ilişkisi tartışmalı… Din sömürünün, kamu kaynaklarını yağmalamanın, talan etmenin, insanları köleleştirmenin-alıklaştırmanın bir aracına dönüştü…Tuhaf bir şov malzemesi haline geldi… İsraf, şatafat, şımarık tüketim artık dine boyanarak yol alıyor… Helal gıda söylemi, ne demek istediğime iyi bir örnek… Kapitalizm her şeyi çürütüyor, dejenere ediyor, içini boşaltıyor ve kendi suretinde yeniden yaratıyor… Din artık bir zenginleşme, çalıp-çırpma aracı…
O halde sadede gelebiliriz: Ne oldu, nasıl oldu da Türkiye’de Politik İslam 23 yıldır iktidar… Ki, bu ‘Cumhuriyet döneminin yaklaşık dörtte biri … Elbette evveliyatı da var. 1970’lerden beri Politik İslam bir şekilde iktidar ortağıydı… Koalisyon hükümetlerinin parçasıydı…
Türkiye’deki rejim hiçbir zaman anayasada yazıldığı gibi, demokratik, laik ve sosyal hukuk devleti” değildi… Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığı gibi devasa bir kurum devletin göbeğindeyken, laiklikten söz etmek abestir… Siz dine karışırsanız, din de bize karışırdı ve karıştı…
Türkiye’nin egemen sınıfları sadece uyduruk resmî ideolojiye dayanarak yönetemeyeceklerini biliyorlardı. Dini yardıma çağırmaya mecburdular ve çağırdılar… Bizde Politik İslam bir T.C.-ABD (emperyalizm) ortak projesidir…
Politik İslamcıların bir toplum projesi yoktur. Dünyayı anlamaktan acizdirler… Yönetme özürlüdürler… Çözümü geride aramak gibi bir açmazla malûldürler… Yaptıkları yegâne şey, bütçeyi, hazineyi, müşterekleri ve doğayı yağmalamak, talan etmektir… Nihai amaç da ülkeyi bir İslam Emirliği yapmak. Eğer başarabilirlerse ilelebet iktidar olmayı umuyorlar… Yıkması kolaydır da yapması o kadar kolay değildir… Tüm kurumları çökerttiler. Geride kalan dönemde ekonomi hiç bu günkü kadar yerlerde sürünmemiş, tarım çökertilmemişti. Artık Türkiye’nin içine sürüklendiği durumu kriz kavramı karşılamıyor… Söz konusu olan çöküş… Toplum çoğunluğunun temel ihtiyaçları (beslenme, barınma, sağlık, eğitim, ulaşım, güvenlik…) asgari düzeyde bile karşılanamaz durumda…
Eğer vakitlice bu din soslu faşizmden çıkılamazsa, geriye kurtarılacak pek bir şey kalmayacak… Fakat o kadarı yeterli olmaz… Radikal bir paradigma değişikliğine ihtiyaç var… Siyasetin zeminini değiştirmek gerekiyor… Kapitalizm dahilinde asla bir çözüm, bir gelecek olmadığının bilinmesi gerekiyor… Boşuna ne ile cebelleştiğini bilmek önemlidir denmemiştir…

The quick and dirty questions is: Which distro should I try next?
I tried Debian X11 and Fedora with Wayland, but I did not have a great experience with them for my Lenovo Legion 5 Pro RTX3060. I installed proprietary drivers on both systems since people say that they're better than Nouveau, but the framerate stutters even in simple browser game.
I use some software to slice 3d models for printing, and that one stuttered too. I tried various fixes but none of them worked, and I'd really like to switch to Linux from Microsoft for my daily driver.
What distro can I use to have a better experience? Any advice is welcome, but please make it as specific as possible and if you can, address why that distro would be better than Debian 12 and Fedora 42.
That's odd, I remember using Debian 12 without this issue when it was released, I later switched to an Arch based distro (Endeavour OS) to experiment with how it would run games (they ran better, I think some games were freezing on Debian 12 stable).
I can't say anything about Fedora, never used it.
Do you have more information about the specific driver you installed on Debian 12 and Fedora 42? Like the version number? Maybe the neofetch result of your computer specs too.

I second disabling Nouveau via blacklist, and I'm unsure if there is similar software for Lenovo, but I use asusctl to force the use of the Nvidia card over the integrated Vega graphics. This could very well be an issue with graphics card switching, so it's worth looking into.
As for distro recs, while most would probably recommended Linux Mint for beginners, I prefer to recommend Bazzite. It's Fedora-based, but comes with Nvidia drivers and lots of gaming optimization baked-in.
Did you make sure that Nouveau was not loading? If both drivers are on the system, Nouveau usually ends up taking precedence unless it's been blacklisted. Also, if this is a laptop type with a hybrid graphics setup, you may need additional software to manage the handoff between GPUs (optimus, bumblebee, etc.)
I've done some more digging and indeed, the AMD integrated GPU is being used. Optimus seems like a good option, but then apparently I'd have to use x11 as the desktop renderer because Wayland doesn't play nice with nvidia.
As far as I can see, x11 will be deprecated not too long from now?
Mark my words, X11 will still be around as an option 10 years from now. Linux Mint, probably the most popular distro, doesn't even support Wayland in its default configuration, yet.
I went back to Windows10 so I could dual-boot with Secure Boot turned off. My system will dual boot popOS and Debian without issue. Just make sure to install windows first.
NVIDIA Optimus sucks for Linux, I would suggest looking into EnvyControl and forcing your xorg & xrandr to use your NVIDIA GPU primarily and not the iGPU.
a distribution is just an assortment of packages, it's the same linux + driver underneath. nvidia on linux is a headache. are there people who made it work? sure. is that a worthwhile waste of your time? it is not.
get hardware that's linux supported and you'll have plenty of challenges during the transition, you don't need the additional "self destruction in..." countdown timer booming from the speakers.
if you still wanna have at it, pop_os (however it's spelt), bazzite and nobara are some od the distros that have dedicated nvidia install images and are thusly more likely to work OOB and work better afterwards.
For some historical context, Nvidia has had premium Linux support since 2006. For the longest time it was the only option for any kind of hardware accelerated 3D graphics on Linux and it generally worked very well.
Thankfully, AMD made the open-source side of graphics on Linux work also. To my knowledge, Nouveau is not quite there yet.
Like others suggested here, you might want to try a gaming-oriented distro. My favourite is Nobara or just plain Fedora. People suggest Bazzite, but I cannot recommend it because it's based on Fedora Atomic, and I don't get along with Fedora Atomic.
Distros are a red herring. I used debian 12 (first gnome, then xfce) for more than a year with no problems, and the current version of Bazzite is also problem-free for me when it comes to nvidia prime (apart from a KDE-specific memory leak). Basically, this should be easily fixable without a fresh install.
I don't know what distro you're on atm, but set up prime-run and try running programs with that. I also recommend going onto the uefi and disabling secure boot. You can get it to work with proprietary nvidia drivers, but it's a bit of a process and unless you really need it you might as well leave it off for now.

Normal koşullarda Kıbrıs’ın kuzeyinde bize açılan davaların geri çekilmesi gerekirdi. Ancak davalar geri çekilmedi. Ben mart başında polise çağrıldım ve hakkımda yeni bir şikayet oluştu. Şu an dosyam savcılığa gidecek. Savcılık dosyayı işleme koyunca da hukuki süreç tekrar başlayacak.
İzleyebildiğimiz kadarıyla Kuzey Kıbrıs’ın gündemi yine yoğun. Başörtüsü tartışmaları son dönemlerde öne çıkıyor. Liselerde ve ortaokullarda öğrencilerin başörtüsü takmasının serbest bırakılması tepki çekti, eylemler yaşandı. Buradan başlayalım isterseniz; bu anlamda Kıbrıs’ta neler oluyor?
Kıbrıs’ta 1958’den itibaren başlayan Türkiye Cumhuriyeti ve Kıbrıslılar arasındaki ilişki biliniyor ancak modern Türk Cumhuriyeti ilan edildikten sonra aslında ilk ilişkiler 1925 yılında başlıyor. Daha 1925 yılında Türkiye’nin Kıbrıs’a gönderdiği elçiler burada Kemalizm siyaseti doğrultusunda diplomatik faaliyetlerini yürüttü. Fakat Türk derin devletinin organize bir şekilde Türkçe konuşan Kıbrıslılara müdahale etmesi 1958 yılında başlıyor. 1958’den 1974 yılına kadar müdahaleler gerçekleşti. Türkiye’nin istemediği hiçbir kişi lider olmadı. Muhalifler 1958’den 1965 kadar öldürüldü. Türkiye’ye karşı muhalefet susturulunca artık yeni bir sistem oluşturuldu. 1974’ten sonra Kemalistlerin baskısı arttı. 1958’den soğra Türkçe konuşan Kıbrıslıların köy isimler değiştirildi. İşgalden sonra Rumca konuşan Kıbrıslıların yaşadığı köy isimleri de değiştirildi. Soy isimlerimiz değiştirildi. Kıbrıs Cumhuriyeti kimlik kartlarmız, pasaportlarmız yasaklandı. Kıbrıs Cumhuriyeti para birimi yasaklandı. TL’ye geçildi. Buraya nüfus aktarımı gerçekleştirildi. Türkiye’den binlerce insan getirdiler. 200 bin Rumca Konuşan Kıbrıslı’nın terk ettiği köylere Türkiye’den insan taşıdılar. Kiliseler camiye dönüştürüldü. Türklük Sözleşmesinin yanına sunni Müslümanlık da eklendi. 2002 yılına kadar aşamalı olarak yeni bir sistem kuruldu. Evet Kıbrıslı Türkler de Müslüman ancak kendilerine göre dini yaşama biçimleri vardı. Burada Ortodoks hıristiyanlar göç edince bu kez sunni Müslümanlık egemen din olarak inşa edildi.
2002 yılında AKP’nin iktidara gelmesiyle birlikte Türklük Sözleşmesi var ama onun yanında sunni Müslümanlık anlayışı da ağırlaştırılarak Türklük sözleşmesinin içinde yerini aldı. Din daha da baskın olmaya başladı. Burada camiler inşa edilmeye başlandı. Bunun yanında Türkiye’den imamlar getirildi. Türkiye’den nüfus artışı devam etti. Türkiye’deki tarikatlar getirildi. AKP özellikle 2020 Cumhurbaşkanlığı seçimlerden sonra nüfus artışını daha da hızlandırdı. Öğretmenlergöndermeye başladı Türkiye’den. Yoğun bir şekilde. Özellikle bu öğretmenlerin bir çoğu Sünni Müslümanlık görüşünü benimseyen kişilerdi. Türkiye’nin öğretmen göndermesi 1958 öncesi de vardı. Ancak AKP ile bu başga bir boyut kazandı. Bir de Kıbrıs’ın kuzeyinde sendikalar kurmaya başladı yerleşikler üzerinden. Buraya getirilen yerleşimciler üzerinden sendikal faaliyetlere girişdi.
Yani bizim sendikalarımıza paralel sendikalar kurmaya başladılar ve bu sendikalarla birlikte taşıdıkları nüfusu oralarda örgütlemeye başladılar. Getirilen yerleşimcilerin kültür dernekleri, hemşeri dernekleri daha da aktif hale getirildi. Bunun yanında siyasi partileri de taşıdılar. AKP’den CHP’yetutun da İYİ Parti’ye Yeniden Refah partisine kadar siyasal partilerin şubeleri açıldı. AKP bu noktada çok aktif, özellikle de gençlik kolları üzerinden. Bunun yanında Yunus Emre Entütüsü, tarikatlar gibi yapılanmalar üzerinden de siyasal faaliyetlerini yürütüyor.

Çünkü nüfus sayımı yapmıyorlar… Ancak Türkçe konuşan Kıbrıslıların artık kuzeyde azınlık olduğunu söyleyebiliriz. Türkiye Türkçe konuşan Kıbrıslıların nüfusunu eritmek istiyor. Türkiye’den taşınan nüfus korkunç düzeydedir. Türkçe konuşan Kıbrıslıların kamusal görünürlüğü yok denecek kadar azdır.

Tabii hep böyleydi. Türkiye’den buraya sürekli insanlar aktarılıyordu. 2002’den sonra ise AKP Türkiye’de çıkardığı yasaları buraya aktarmaya başladı. 1974 yılından sonra da durum ayniydi aslında. Türkiye ile Kıbrıs’ın kuzeyi arasında bir sömürgecilik ilişkisi var. Özellikle 1974 itibarıyla Türkiye bu sistemi inşa etti ve Türkçe konuşan Kıbrıslılara belirli imtiyazlar verdi. Türkçe konuşan Kıbrıslılar’da bu imtiyazları kullandı.
Yani güvenlik kuvvetlerinin komutanı hiçbir zaman Türkçe konuşan Kıbrıslı olmadı. Burada sivil savunma var ve sivil savunma Türk derin devletinin alt birimi olarak faaliyet gösteriyor. Yani sıradan bir sivil savunma değil. Onun başkanı da hiçbir zaman Türkçe konuşan Kıbrıslı olmadı. Merkez Bankası’nın başkanı da hiçbir zaman bizden biri olmadı.Türkiye artık doğrudan buraya kadrolar aktarmaktadır. Alt yönetim birimlerini de değiştirmeye başladı. Bu sayede yeni bir inşa sürecine geçti.
Zaten 3 Mayıs’ta da külliyenin açılışı yapıldı. Külliye Metehan olarak isimlendirilen bir bölgede yapıldı. Biliyorsunuz Metehan Türk tarihi için çok önemli bir kişidir. Türk tarihinde modern orduyu ve modern devlet biçimini ortaya çıkaran Hun imparatorudur. Burada yeni bir cumhurbaşkanlığı sarayı, yeni parlamento yapıldı. Bunun karşılarına bir cami inşa edildi. Yüksek mahkeme binası da külliyenin bahçesine yapılıyor. Dolayısıyla yapılanma süreci devam ediyor. Bunun adına külliye denildi. Osmanlı fetheddiyi topraklara külliye yapıyordu. Yapısal olarak başka bir noktaya geçeceklernin önemli bir göstergesidir.
Sınıflar değiştirildi. İşçi sınıfı bağlamında Türkçe konuşan Kıbrıslıların işçi sınıfının öncü kesimi imha edildi. Biraz karışık anlatıyorum, kusura bakmayın çünkü bizim hikâyemizianlatmaya çalışıyorum. 1974’de Rumca konuşan Kıbrıslı işçi sınıfı ve yukarı sınıfı imha edildi. Üretim araçlarına el konuldu. Bunlar Türkleştirildi. Türkçe konuşan Kıbrıslılar buralarda istihdam edildi. Üretim araçları Kamu İktisadi Teşebbüsü (KİT) olarak çalıştırıldı. Türkiye’den çalıştırılmak üzere yerleşimciler getirildi. KİT’ler 1983’den sonra özelleştirilmeye başlandı. Türkçe konuşan Kıbrıslılar üretim ilişkilerinden koparıldı. Yerleşimciler üretim ilişkilernin merkezine geldi. 2002’den sonra oluşturulan bu yeni sınıf yapısı ve burada kamu iktisadi teşebbüslerinin tasfiye süreci hız kazandı. Türkçe konuşan Kıbrıslılar nereyse tamamen memur yapıldı. Türkiye’den taşınan yerleşimciler ise işçi sınıfının ana kaynağı haline geldi. 2002’den özellikle Pakistan, Afrika’dan, Türkmenistan, Uzak doğu, Ukrayna ve Rusya’dan nüfus aktarımı gerçekleşmeye başladı. Bu yoksul ülkelerden yapılan nüfus aktarımıyla beraber Türkiye’den buraya getirilen Türkiyeli yerleşimciler sınıfsal anlamda tasfiye edildi. Onların yerine de Pakistanlılar, Afrikalılar, Türkmenler, Uzak Doğulular istihdam edilmeye başlandı ve taşınan Ukraynalı ve Ruslarla birlikte de inşaat sektöründeki ev satışları arttırıldı. 2002’den sonra sınıflar yeniden oluşturuldu ve oluşturulmaya devam ediliyor. Türk sermayesinin artık çok güçlü bir pozisyonu var. Türkçe konuşan Kıbrıslıların üst sınıfının tasfiye edilmesi için yasalar çıkartıldı. Türk sermayesinin Kıbrıs’ın kuzeyine taşınması hız kazandı.
Kıbrıs ile bağı olmayan, hatta hiç gelmeyen insanlara Türkiye’de KKTC vatandaşlığı dağıtıyorlar. Bu insanlar kamu sınavlarına giriyor, sınavı geçenler Kıbrıs’ın kuzeyine geliyor. Bürokraside bugüne kadar Kıbrıs’ta böyle bir aktarım ve yoğunlaşma olmamıştı. Şimdi bürokrasiyi de dönüştürmeye başladı. Başörtüsü yasası sistematik olarak yapılan saldırılardan sadece bir tanesidir.
Anladım…Aslında Türkiye’deki sistemin yansıması gibi geliyor; Sömürgecilik… Peki buna karşı anti- kolonyal bir mücadele de gelişiyor diyebilir miyiz ?
Kesinlikle son dönemlerde benim vurgulamaya çalıştığım şey budur. Sorunun adı Türk Yerleşimci Kolonyalizmidir. İsrail’in Filistin’e yaptığı bir uygulamadır. Yöntemler arasında benzerlikler ve farklılıklar vardır. Türkiye’de Kıbrıs’a bunu yapıyor. Ancak bu teorik anlamda teorize edilmemişti. Bazı dostlarmız özellikle gazeteci Aziz Şah bunu dillendiriyordu. Kıbrıslılar Birliği bunu ifade ediyordu. Ben, bunu teorize etmeye çalışıyorum. Eğer sorunu tespit edebilirseniz, ona göre de direnişini yaparsınız. Kıbrıs’ın kuzeyinde son zamanlarda Türk kolonyalizmi ifadesi yüksek bir sesle ifade edilmeye başlandı.
Elbette siyasal duruşumu antikolonyal siyasal söylem ve yöntemüzerinden gerçekleştirmeye çalışıyorum. Vicdani red eylemlerinde, cumartesi yaptığımız eylemde bunu öne çıkarıyor ve tartıştırmaya çalışıyorum. Sivil itaatsizlik, anti kolonyalizm, Türk Yerleşimci Kolonyalizmi gibi konular üzerinden yaşadığımız sorunları tartıştırmaya çalışıyorum kendi yaşadığım coğrafyada. Çünkü biliyorsunuz anti kolonyal mücadele çeşitli yöntemle gerçekleşebilir. Türkçe konuşan Kıbrıslıların nüfusu az olduğundan dolayı ve burada 50 binden fazla silahlı asker-polisbulunduğundan ve coğrafyamızın küçük olmasından dolayı burada silahlı mücadele vermek imkansız. Dolayısıyla bağımsızlık mücadelesinin diğer bir aracı sivil itaatsizlik eylemleridir ve ben bütün yaptığım eylemleri Türk işgaline, Türk Yerleşimci Kolonizmine karşı sivil itaatsizlik eylemleri olarak tanımlıyorum ve tabiki de yaşadığım topluma da çağrıda bulunuyorum. Türkçe konuşan Kıbrıslılar örgütsel ve kitlesel sivil itaatsizlik eylemlerini pratiğe geçirebilirse özgürlüklerini elde edeceklerdir. Ancak bu çok uzun ve zor bir yol, yolculuktur.
Sivil itaatsizlik eylemleri hangi boyutta? Toplumsal dokudaki yıpranmışlık ve çürüme göz önüne alındığında tepkiler yaygın mı, kitlesel mi ya da gelişiyor mu?
Şimdi elbette gelişmesi lazım. Bu ancak bilinç çalışmalarıyla olabilir. Bizdeki toplumsal çürüme aslında Rumca konuşan Kıbrıslıların mülkiyetinin çalınması ve Türkçe konuşan Kıbrıslılara bu hırsızlıktan pay verilmesiyle başladı. Buraya taşıdıkları nüfusa dağıttılar bu ganimeti ama Türkçe konuşan Kıbrıslılara da önemli bir pay verdiler. Yani çürüme ganimetin paylaşılmasıyla başladı. Mülkiyet ilişkilerinin değiştirilmesiyle…
Öte yandan 80’lerden sonra Türkiye’deki kumarhaneler de buraya taşındı. 90’larda bu daha da yoğunlaştı. Bununla beraber kumar, kara para, uyuşturucu gibi olaylar buraya taşındı. Türkiye’deki mafyalar buraya taşındı. Dolayısıyla burası Türkiye’nin bir lağım çukuruna döndürüldü.. Pis işlerini yaptıkları bir yer oldu. Tabii sivil itaatsizlik eylemleri bireylerin kendi başlarına yapabileceği eylemler olduğu gibi kitlesel bir şekilde de yapılabilir. Örgütsel bir şekilde de yapılabilir ki ben bu noktada yani bunun kitlesel bir şekilde insanlarımızı bilinçlendirerek Türkiye karşı bir özgürleşme hareketinin olması gerektiğini düşünüyorum. Kitlesel bir şekilde bütün insanların, yığınsal bir şekilde Türkiye’nin müdahalelerine, Türkiye’nin, Kıbrıs’ın kuzeyini kolonize etmesine karşı ses çıkarması gerektiğini düşünüyorum. Bu noktada hikayenin başındayız. Toplumda sivil itaatsizlik eylemleri dillendirilmeye başlanıldı.
Bunun başarılmasının önündeki engeller nelerdir?
Şimdi tabii cemaatimizin bu bilinci yok. Bizim Türkçe konuşan Kıbrıslıların aslında en büyük sorunlarından bir tanesi aydın krizidir. Aydınlarımız, Türkiye’nin bize yaptığı uygulamaları bir sömürgecilik biçimi olarak daha göremedi. Görenler ve buna tepki gösterenler vardır. Bu dostlarımız ağır bedeller ödedi. Ancak büyük bir çoğunluğu sorunu bu şekilde tanımlamıyor. Dolayısıyla bu bize büyük bir dezavantaj sağlıyor. Çünkü Türkçe konuşan Kıbrıslılara kuzeyde belirli imtiyazların verilmesiyle birlikte ciddi bir “illüzyon” yaratıldı. Türkçe konuşan Kıbrıslı aydınlar kendilerini özne zannettiler. Ancak Türkiye, Türkçe konuşan Kıbrıslılara siyasilere çeşitli suikast girişimleri yaptı. 1989’dan 2004’e kadar ve etkileri oldu.Aydınlar, bunu görüp, işgalle hesablaşmayı tercih etmediler. Eden dostlarmız vardır. Bunun altını çizmek isterim.
Ne yazık ki akademide de bu tarz görüşlere yer verilmiyor. Böyle düşünen insanlar akademiye alınmıyor. Bu da bize büyük bir dezavantaj sağlıyor. Yeterli çalışmalar yapılmadığı için şu an böyle bir kitlesel bilinçten bahsetmek zor. Ancak küçük bir çevre var ki bu bilince sahiptir ve bu bilinç doğrultusunda siyaset de üretiyor. AKP’nin, özellikle 2020’de cumhurbaşkanlığı seçimlerine müdahale etmesiyle beraber tabii bu hassasiyet artmış durumdadır. Bu eylemlere katılım da artmış durumdadır. Özellikle başörtüsü konusuyla ilgili iki büyük eylem gerçekleşti. Nüfusumuza göre ciddi bir katılım gerçekleşti. Birincisine 13 bin insan katıldı. İkincisinde de katılım çok yüksekti.
Burada bir şey sorabilir miyim; o eylemleri takip etmeye çalıştım ama şu çok dikkatimi çekti; Denktaş ailesinin çocukları da eylemdeydi? Bunu nasıl değerlendirmek gerekiyor?
Denktaş ailesi AKP tarafında tasfiye edildi. Biliyorsunuz; az önce de bahsettim; liderlik sürekli olarak Türkiye tarafından atandı, belirlendi. Türkiye, 1930’da İngiliz kolonyal döneminden bu yana seçimlerimize müdahale ediyor. 2003- 2004 Annan Planı sürecinde Denktaş ailesi AKP tarafında tasfiye edildi. Onun yerine Mehmet Ali Talat, Cumhuriyetçi Türk Partisi lideri getirildi. Şimdi Denktaş ailesi tasfiye edildiği için ve hiçbir şekilde siyasal anlamda bir pozisyona getirilemedikleri için dolayısıyla bir taraf olmak zorunda kaldılar. Bu anlamda tabii bu din konusu da hassas bir mesele…Denktaş ailesi laik bir ailedir. “Anavatana” olan bağlılıklarını dile getiriyorlar ve ‘Anavatan’ diyor onlar ama bu başörtüsü konusunda sağın bir kısmının da hassasiyeti var. Evet, bu olaya tepki gösteriyorlar. Ersin Tatar’ın eşi bile tepki gösterdi. Bu Türkiye ile ana bir çelişki içinde olduklarını göstermez. Sadece AKP ile bazı noktalarda ayrışıyorlar.
Anladım. Bir de Kıbrıs’ın muhalif medyasından söz etmek istiyorum. Son günlerde gazetecilere yönelik baskı ve tehditler gündeme geliyor. Orada neler yaşanıyor?
Burada muhalif medya ciddi bir saldırı altındadır. Özellikle 2018 yılında ciddi bir kırılma yaşadık. 2018 öncesi de Afrika/Avrupa Gazetesi’ne; Şener Levent ve oradaki arkadaşlarımıza davalar açılıyordu. 22 Ocak 2018’de Türkiye’nin buraya taşıdığı nüfus, Erdoğan’ın emriyle Afrika/Avrupa gazetesine saldırdı. Bilmiyorum, bunu gördünüz mü, orada gazeteciler öldürülmek istendi. İşte o gün orada ciddi bir kırılma yaşandı. Onun arkasından da 2020 seçimleri yapıldı.
Ondan sonra da Şener Levent’e TC vatandaşı olmamasına rağmen Ankara’da davalar açıldı. Ve Şener Levent suçlu bulundu. Bunun yanında Ayşemden Akın isimli gazeteci arkadaşımıza da Ankara’da davalar açıldı. Ayşemden’in sanırım TC yurttaşlığı vardır ve o da Ankara’da yargılandı. Tabi bu gazeteciler hiçbir şekilde Türkiye’de bulunmadı yargılanma sürecinde. Yani mahkeme süreci olurken buradaydılar. Onlar yargılandı ve onlara ceza verildi. Bunun yanında Ali Kişmir dostumuz gazeteci, aynı zamanda Basın-SEN sendikasının başkanıdır. Ali, 2020 seçimleri müdahalesine karşı bir yazı yazdı. Türkiye’nin buradaki elçisi, Ulusal Birlik Partisi’ne ait bazı milletvekillerini, güvenlik kuvvetlerine ait “Beyaz Ev” adı verilen bir restoranda topladı. Bu muhalif milletvekilleri Türkiye’ye değil Ersin Tatar’a muhaliflerdi. Bunlar elçi tarafından uyarıldı. Ali bu uyarı konusuyla ilgili sosyal medyada bir yazı yazdı. Ve şu an Ali Kişmir 10 yıllık bir hapis cezası ile karşı karşıyadır. Tarihimizde bir ilktir zira bu dava da güvenlik kuvvetleri komutanlığının şikayeti üzerine açıldı. GKK’nın başındaki komutan da Türkiye tarafından atanıyor.
Bunun yanında Ayşemden Akın arkadaşımız, Halil Falyalı’nın ilk adamı olan Cemil Önal ile mülakat gerçekleştirdi. Hollanda’da ve biliyorsunuz Cemil Önal da öldürüldü. O röportajda AKP’nin kuzeyde yasadışı olarak yarattığı ortamla ilgili uyuşturucu, kara para ve AKP’li bazı siyasilere ait kasetler gündeme geldi ve siyasilerin bazı ilişkileri deşifre edildi. Bu nedenle Türkiye’den Ayşemden’e bir telefon geldi ve Türkiye’den Ayşemden’i öldürmek için 3 kişinin Kıbrıs’a geldiği ifade edildi. Dolayısıyla Ayşemden de ölüm tehditleri alıyor. Bunun yanında Cenk Mutluyakalı, Serhat İncirli, Ersin Tatar’ın şikayeti üzerine yargılanmaya başladı. Dolayısıyla muhalif gazetecilere ciddi bir baskı söz konusudur. Selma Eylem hocamız var Kıbrıs Türk Orta Eğitim Öğretmenler Sendikası Başkanı… Başörtüsüyle ilgili olarak muhalefetin örülmesinde önemli bir rol üstlendi diğer hocalarımızla birlikte. O da ölüm tehditleri alıyor. Şu an dolayısıyla Kıbrıslı gazeteciler ve Kıbrıslı muhalifler ciddi bir tehdit altındadır.
Şunu da söyleyeyim. Son 9 ayda Türkiye’den Kıbrıs’daki iş adamlarına suikast yapmak için kişiler geliyor. Son 9 ayda 9 kişi geldi. Bunlar suikast işlemek için geliyorlar. Bunlardan sadece 2si tutuklandı. Bu da Halil Falyalı cinayetiyle başlayan yeni bir süreçtir. 1989’dan 2004’e kadar hem Kıbrıslı siyasiler hem de Kıbrıslı işadamları Türk derin devleti tarafından suikast girişimlerine uğramıştı ancak 2004’ten 2018’e kadar böyle bir şey çok yaşanmadı. 2018 Afrika/Avrupa Gezetesi saldırılarından itibaren, aslında Türkiye’deki siyasetle birlikte buradaki ortam da çok sertleşti.
Peki, Türkiye iç siyasetindeki olası değişiklikler oraya yansıyacak mı? Diyelim ki Erdoğan gitti yeni bir hükümet geldi, Kıbrıs’ın kuzeyine ve sizin mücadelenize bu nasıl yansıyacak, ne tür etkileri olacak?
Ben şimdi biraz daha farklı bir noktadan bakmaya çalışacağım. Türk kapitalizmin gelişimini incelemeye çalıştım. Türkiye’deki Türk kapitalizminin başlangıcı 1950’liler Demokrat Parti’nin iktidara geldiği dönem. Türkiye’nin Kıbrıs ile ilgilenmeye başladığı dönem de o dönemdir aslında. Şimdi Türk kapitalizminin gelişimiyle birlikte Türkiye’deki siyasal süreç de paralel bir şekilde gelişiyor. Özellikle 2016’da Türkiye Varlık Fonu’nu ilan etti. Türkiye neoliberalizm ve devlet kapitalizmi arasında bir yerdeydi. Neo liberal ekonomik modeli takip ederken Devlet kapitalizmini andıran uygulamalar yapılmaya başlandı Gezi Park’ı eylemlerinden sonra. Son dönemde TÜSİAD’ın başkanı ve yönetim kurulundan 1 kişiye davalar açıldı. Türkiye’de Siber Güvenlik Daire Başkanlığı kuruldu. Bu da şirketlere yönelik bir adımdı. Yani verilerin verilmemesinden dolayı patronların tutuklanabilme ihtimali var.
Gördüğüm kadarıyla AKP şirketlerin yönetim kurullarına kendi partililerini de atamaya başladı. Dolayısıyla Ekrem İmamoğlu’nun tutuklanmasını da ben Türk kapitalizminin gelişimine bağlıyorum çünkü AKP ile birlikte Türk kapitalizmi çok ileri bir seviyeye geçti. Bugün AKP’nin, Türkiye’nin Suriye’de, Afrika’da da koloni politikaları var. Aslında Asya’da da koloni politikaları var . Dolayısıyla İmamoğlu’nun tutuklaması önemli bir sürecin de başladığının göstergesidir.
Yani Türkiye neo liberal ekonomik modelden koptu. Devlet kapitalizmine geçti. Türkiye’nin Devlet kapitalizmine geçmesinin en önemli sebeplerinden bir tanesi neoliberal kapitalizmdeki krizdir. Bütün dünyada neoliberal ekonominin krize girmesiyle Çin ve Rusya ön plana çıktı. Hatta batı ülkeleri de devlet kapitalizmine geçiyor. Dolayısıyla devlet kapitalizminin öngördüğü bir hukuk biçimi, devlet kapitalizminin öngördüğü bir kültür, siyaset biçimi var. Şu an hem Türkiye’de hem de Kıbrıs’ın kuzeyinde yaratılan siyasal ortam devlet kapitalizminin dayattığı bir yaşam biçimidir. Devlet kapitalizmi totaliter sistemler yaratmaktadır. Parti ve partinin başındaki kişi mutlak bir güce ulaşmaktadır. Türkiye devlet kapitalizmine geçti ve bu uzun bir zaman daha böyle gidecek gibi görünüyor. Dünyada da böyle gidecek. Bu anlamda Türkiye’deki iktidar değişse de Kıbrıs’ın kuzeyinde hiçbir şey değişmeyecek. Aynı şekilde Türkiye’de de değişeceğini düşünmüyorum. Çünkü bunu ekonomik ilişkiler üzerinden değerlendiriyorum. Bugün CHP’ye baktığınız zaman, Ekrem İmamoğlu İstanbul belediye başkanı olduğunda makamına bir imam getirdi ve imam makamda dualar okudu. Siz bunları 2002 öncesi göremezdiniz. Dolayısıyla AKP Kemalizm’i yeniden tarif etti. Atatürkçülüğü yeniden tanımladı. Kemalizm’i siyasal İslam ile karıştırdı. Yani Türkiye artık başka bir noktadır ve hiçbir şey eskisi gibi olmayacaktır. Hayatın her alanında direnişi örmek zorundayız. Tarih karşısında kendi cephelerimizi oluşturarak, ezilenler için alternatif yaratmak zorundayız. Bu tarihsel süreçte bu sorumluluğu almalıyız.

Most people don't know that Marx & Engels were extremely antisemitic at a very personal level.
