  • Otto Kuusinen: As long as the working class wages only an economic struggle, the bourgeoisie does not see in that any great danger for itself; but when the working class organises politically, i.e., creates a political party which expresses its will as a class, the bourgeoisie begins seriously to fear for its rule. That is why reaction deals its main blows against the political party of the working class. At the same time, trying to undermine the party from within, capitalist propaganda endeavours to persuade the workers that they can do without their own party. One of the manifestations of bourgeois influence on the working class is the anarchist and anarcho-syndicalist denial of the leading role of a political party.

the amount of times i have seen decent or even good men twist and turn doing a 180 for lesser w*men's attention or approval i can only come to the conclusion that simping is some kind of psychological disease compounded by modern ostracism of men and the worship of anything with a pussy. its no surprising low T men want to become them to get even a shred of the love and attention. i don't even think shits gonna get better when men boogaloo because there will always be a larger amount of simps willing to backstab there fellow men for the tiniest possibility of pussy. anything short of ww3 killing most and soyciety reverting back to the stone age ain't gonna change shit.

Why don't they cut power and water to the facility? What am I missing here? Why wouldn't that work? Sure. They can bring in their own generators. But what are they going to do about water and sewage? Waste collection?

Cut all services to the facility.

Please. Someone tell me why this wouldn't work?

Oh they do. That's pretty concrete. A Fire Marshal can order the evacuation of any building (even order that it be razed to the ground) if it's unsafe or violates Fire Codes for example. Doesn't matter who the "owner" of the building is whether it's private or public.

It just sounds to me that the politicians don't want that fight even though they would most definitely be in the right.

Tell the waste management contractors not to service the location. If they want to continue to do business with the City/ County tell them they must not service the facility.

Water and sewage is usually provided by the municipality. They can very easily turn the water off without setting foot on the property.

And since you've told the waste management companies not to do business then there's no port-a-potties/ porta-loos that would be delivered.

Frankly the Mayor should be able to get a list of all the employees at the facility. Turn off the water, sewer, and electricity to their homes too while he's at it.

There's ways to put the screws to them. You just have to have the balls.

In this case it's more of a switch away from the last cool new thing. Totem (like Music) was built around a media library navigated from within the app. By default Totem doesn't even support opening videos from the file manager, which is something you would probably expect of a video player. It also crashed for me when I tried using it as intended so I'm not surprised to see it replaced by an app that really is just a video player.

That said many apps get replaced not for feature reasons but just by being GTK3, and they tend to get replaced by their own forks to GTK4 (such as the upcoming replacement of Evince). Why their devs choose to upgrade toolkits this way I cannot say.

SSH managers on Linux?

Curious what folks are using to organise their remote connections? I liked WinSSHTerm and have tried replacing it with Remote Desktop Manager, but it seems a bit broken (fonts look terrible in a terminal, sftp doesn't work, RDP sort of works, but it's not great).

RDP is not a must. Folders, ssh, key auth, sftp and scp are the main things I'm looking for. Currently considering Remmina but though I would check if ppl have strong views on this topic before trying the next app.

I'm using cinnamon with mint 22.

A social movement I could get behind: do not watch sports. At all. Do exercise/sports and do not watch them. Not in stadiums not on TV or anything.

Watching sports comes with all sorts of mindlessness that is bad for you. It's prepackaged with advertising for products you don't need. Alcohol is a big part of sports watching. There is a strange sort of oppressive conformity with the marked up branded sports team clothing. T shirt printing companies seem to work very hard at screening what you can print, probably mostly because of sports. Kinda makes you feel bad because it's hard to compare yourself to a few people that have physical attributes that are so unimaginably greater than yours they may as well be a different species.

Don't watch sports. They are bad for you.

Dr. Hazan's revelations about scientific mafias en.reseauinternational.net/les…

#Hannes Wader -

In meinem Bette, in meinem Bette!

This hurts though.
I am obviously an Ayheist, so, if you ask me "does God play a role in your life", I will obviously say No.

But, when you ask if I value parent-child ties, deference to authority, and traditional family values, reject divorce and abortion, and often have high levels of national pride and a nationalistic outlook.... Then hell yeah.

So, obviously I ended right ij the middle. -_-

I believe there's an ongoing plan to destroy Greasy NewScum's attempt to run for POTUS & to destroy the RATs in the CA Assembly & elsewhere. There's a constant rumor that Greasy is gone perhaps at Gitmo because of his 'bad habits" & known corruption including dealings with the CCP, shall we say.

There's a third RECALL going forward on Greasy. He beat the other two via voter fraud. CA is, after all, the prototype of RAT/RINO voter fraud that's been going on for decades.
