I'd wish there'd be shipping with a simple carrier that falls under the Treaty of Bern. Would take longer (probably a lot longer), but I could fetch the stuff from my local customs office and just pay the import tax with no additional fees. And the shipping fee would be far less also I guess.

My favorite thing about my @furilabs phone, besides the lack of tracking, is the impromptu experiments and tinkering. It's handy. This morning, on a whim, I tried to run Doom on it. It didn't work for reasons that aren't the phone's fault... but I was entertained for hours instead of mindlessly doomscrolling. It is a very differerent device than my Android phone, and it encourages different behavior.
Yeah, it can do the same basics - phone, text, calendar, contacts... But the extras it does are an entirely different set of extras. Everything is deliberate choices. There's no "*ding* Hey, look what's happening on this app!"
