I already have something positive to say about so-called "AI", actually LLMs. Specifically the ones that are either "made" to be good at generating code or do it almost incidentally.
I have spent some time having a variety of these models generate code. Mainly around some sort of "trick question" type request. One where they are most likely to make one or two optimization mistakes.
They do make these mistakes more often than not, but in the real world it would probably never make any difference considering the processing power available even on a toaster, and that most modern systems will be waiting for calls to the disk, network, cloud ,or db.

This guy is still mad at me because I said "likely illegal" in discussing Trump's sketchy (and likely illegal) plane deal. The difference is that over on X I'd be yelled at for using the word "illegal". Here I'm yelled at for "likely".
That made me chuckle. Well, it would be funny if the subject wasn't so serious. Wanting to yell seems to be very part of the human condition though I'd still prefer if people were a little less... yell-y... Ah well.

I did find it funny how he called it an "extremely obvious crime" and when you countered with the various unknowns in the case he accused _you_ of oversimplifying the situation.
