in reply to woodland creature • • •i guess i'll test the coil packs before i go replacing them. even though they're probably old, they may still be good
i also cleaned the MAP sensor, it's reading a smidge low on the intake pressure, 27-29kPa instead of 30 but not sure exactly why. that could jsut be a symptom of something else not a problem with the sensor itself

in reply to woodland creature • • •another weird weird thing i noticed, the timing advance is fluctuating rapidly between 5-10 degrees at idle.
no idea what this means but could be bad spark from old coil packs (?>????)

in reply to woodland creature • • •AND... it seems the rev limiter is kicking in around 6500-7k RPM which is lower than what it should be. should happen ~ 8500 RPM i think.
these things may be related idk
