Please don't let those people take the control of the desktop ecosystem. "Free to choose" has always been one of the killer features of GNU/Linux desktop and those people are trying to kill it.

I might make it ActivityPub based so it plays nicely in the Fediverse and others can use the code too. But finding the time to do it while still full-time employed and trying to still make music is a challenge.

but fedi integration would give it more of a social vibe that soundcloud could have potentially been good for if it werent run by upper middle class technology brothers who could never control their bot problem.
