In today's "seagulls being absolute menaces" news: Gull samples man's coffee, before stealing the mug and dropping it in the sea. (An actual china mug, not some paper thing.) Could argue the gull was justified, as the man had been installing anti bird spikes on nearby houses, before stopping off at a pub for lunch. πŸ˜‰

We now have a political assassin impersonating a police officer on the loose in Minnesota, which, aside from being horrifying in and of itself, underscores the danger of the proliferation of anonymous federal law enforcement deployments from a wide variety of unfamiliar agencies conducting aggressive immigration operations across the country.

Is that uniformed person who's stopping you or demanding entry to your home legit or a psychotic vigilante seeking to harm you? It's impossible to know.

NYC Mayor Adams orders removal of protected bike lane along stretch of Bedford Avenue

Two weeks ago, Adams held a town hall in Williamsburg where numerous members of the neighborhood’s Hasidic community criticized the bike lane. They cited a viral video where a person riding an e-bike crashed into a young child who dashed into the bike lane from a double parked car.

An online petition against the redesigned bike lane titled β€œDOT: Please Stop the Murder of our Children” has more than 3,000 signatures.

But what do those contracts entail?

The contracts will legally give A.I the right to access the back end of your mobile device, and A.I will be surveilling your activities and snooping on your private life. Nothing must be hidden from A.I - nothing indeed.

Meta could track your browser sessions even in incognito and link them with your real identity
Meta devised an ingenious system (β€œlocalhost tracking”) that bypassed Android’s sandbox protections to identify you while browsing on your mobile phone β€” even if you used a VPN, the browser’s incognito mode, and refused or deleted cookies in every session.

This is the process through which Meta (Facebook/Instagram) managed to link what you do in your browser (for example, visiting a news site or an online store) with your real identity (your Facebook or Instagram account), even if you never logged into your account through the browser or anything like that.

Meta accomplishes this through two invisible channels that exchange information:

(i) The Facebook or Instagram app running in the background on your phone, even when you’re not using it.

(ii) Meta’s tracking scripts (the now-pulled illegal brainchild uncovered last week), which operate inside your mobile web browser.


β€œLocalhost tracking” explained. It could cost Meta 32 billion.
