Good dishwashers have a heating element on the bottom. . It turns on and dries the dishes in a cloud of steam. There is also a button on mine that's for high heat (sanitize) that I leave on. This ensures that the dishes get completely dry.

but working from home is definitely a white collar privilege (unless we go back to backyard workshops like in medieval times… which is what I’m planning for my retirement anyway).
@eobet sure, some jobs need to be done in person. However, less people commuting helps everyone in the end. People who do have to be physically present to do their work have to deal with less traffic as a result.

Not buying it. When an office is properly organized (i.e. not a huge noisy open-plan with 50+ people not even remotely associated with the project you're working on), I much prefer going there to do the work, and actually meeting people regularly(!), instead of rearranging my apartment to fit job needs in addition to everything else a home is supposed to be.
@zir4n if you read through the article, it notes that the biggest factor is time people save on commute. I've had a job where I could walk to work in under 10 min before, and I liked my team. I did enjoy being in the office and seeing people when I worked there.
