受到武漢肺炎疫情的影響，在各國之間旅行變得麻煩及困難，許多排在行事曆上的事情或者延期，或者取消，對跨國工作者的衝擊很大，一位優律思美輔療師原本在台灣工作一段時間之後，要到歐洲進修的計畫也因而一再延後。趁著農曆年假期，我邀請他來體驗彩光針灸。案主的腳跟和外側腳弓在某些姿勢容易痠，是年輕時跳水潭受的傷，過幾年之後才出現後遺症，至今嚴重的時候甚至無法工作。在進行調理之前，先量測經絡的狀況：

全身能量值在冬天達到了48，令我感到訝異，是台灣的冬天對歐美人士而言不算冷的緣故嗎？心經、肝經的亢奮，印證了案主自述前一晚睡不好，這天早上5點半就起床喝咖啡；脾經和膀胱經虛衰的比較嚴重。從六經體質圖可看到，右側的寒邪比較嚴重一些。

在患處按壓，案主並沒有任何不適感。在相對應的手腕、小魚際的痠點照紅光，然後以168復原光線畫背，用紅光加強血液循環、提供溫暖，並且在腰部附近停留較長的時間，然後再用藍光和淺藍綠光放鬆，這個療法能讓人很輕鬆、舒適，也能改善睡眠品質。
接著在陽陵泉、陰陵泉、承山照紅光，但是在陽陵泉照了2分鐘左右，案主就感覺背開始抽筋，改在陽陵泉改用藍光，舒緩之後再用腦部平衡法結束。調理後再次測量經絡：

量測太淵時，發現肺經的數值掉到了33，全身能量也從48大幅降到34出乎我的意料，因為我紅色光用的比較多，臟腑平衡的數值從1.71降至1.48，因此應該並非我原先猜想的地域或人種的差別，而是臟腑亢奮的緣故。彩光調理之後，脾經和膀胱經變得比較平衡，使得五行分佈比較平均，六經體質圖上的寒邪也去除了。案主說，調理之後感覺有點累，但是全身很放鬆，原先有點緊繃的小腿也鬆開了；腳跟的舊傷則沒有感覺明顯的變化，之後需要進一步的處理。心經左右兩邊的差異較大，在手臂右側心包經有痠點，請案主有空時多多按壓可以改善。案主當天晚上的睡眠品質變好，隔天比較晚起，獲得了充分的休息。自癒現象的腎虛或腎系統自癒由0.51降至0.34，心包塞的數值也從0.37降至0.21。肝氣鬱結卻由0變成0.48，我認為不太需要擔心，這是由於調理後肝經和膽經都是向上，而調理前膽經是一上一下，但是膽經和平均的全身能量差異不大，故以藍色線條顯示。

事後請教了邱老師，得知陳年舊傷的對應痠痛點會比較深層，還指點了一些應該加強的地方，對我來說是一個很寶貴的學習經驗，希望下次調理可以改善案主長年的困擾。張老師說：「調理完體能值下降的現象不少見，這是十二經絡能量充足之後開始補虛瀉實的常見狀態，這只是過程，個案之後再來量測應會發現又恢復正常，甚至更好。病位淺的人體能值調理後立刻上升，病位深的人需要多次調理，體能值通常會先下後上。」吳老師分析，「調理之前偏上實下虛，是身體修復心或小腸的現象。肺、大腸沒動作，調理後則往上虛下實的方向轉變。肺的虛值雖不多，但和之前上半身幾乎沒有虛值不同，是啟動排寒初期的現象。自癒啟動初期，需要將大量能量轉入自癒的臟腑，其中排寒消耗能量最大，因而平均能量值會大幅下降。多數的這類療法，並不是用來消除症狀，而是推動身體的自癒活動，不斷的往前走。因此，檢測的圖形不一定是變好或變壞。只是不斷的變化就算是好的，這是多數人無法理解和接受的。可以說檢測的圖，沒有好壞，前後比對只是要理解身體在做什麼，調理後有沒有促進其往前發展。身體的自癒必須不斷地往前發展，調理只是加快其進程。」
