You need to change a setting in windows for remmina to work. I don't remember which one it was but I think it was some where in the remotedesktop settings.
Have you tried gnome connections? It's more on the "quick and easy" rather than "professional" side, but maybe it does the job.
Tho I wonder whether it's more of a windows-side issue... maybe windows 11 requires some kind of online authentication that cannot be implemented by other clients, and maybe this authentication can be turned off. I'm merely speculating here, but I know that remmina works for windows 10 so it's suspicious.

I've known of his cruelty and criminality for nearly half a century. That so many failed to see him for what he is remains astounding.
Getting back in the swing of things means protesting with my daughter every day. Because, I was sick we had to take a break. Today, you could tell something had changed in our absence. First of all, the people that live around the intersection, we frequent, missed us. We were warmly greeted and provided cold water and snacks. People pulled over to talk to us. A person in a full face mask tried to hit us with his bicycle but a bystander told him to move on and he did. Lots of hand gestures were directed at us. Most were positive. Clearly people are worked up. What a difference a few weeks made. Tomorrow we will see if this is the new normal.
