It looked like from comments that's why he made the Ollama integration optional, because some people were concerned since Ollama was built by Meta. It can run without Ollama, it seems.

This is offtopic, but I switched from Alpaca to duck.ai. I try not to use AI too often and even though I like the idea to run it locally, duck.ai is way easier to use.
I use it also some times but that is online ai and everything you use it for goes to someones servers so its not private. Alpaca is using ollama to run ai localy on your machine so everything you use it for is private. So those two are completly diferent and are not for comparing which one is easier to use because ease of use is not the point here. Privacy is.

You can just freeze them for smoothies. Everyone is saying jam and that’s a good idea but it’s a whole process and has to be sanitary. It’s not super hard, obviously, and it’s worth learning how to do but the first time can be a bit daunting and you really have to follow every step. A smoothie is easy.
Another pretty easy thing is to make ice cream and freeze it. A restaurant I cooked at had fig trees that would go nuts once a year and we’d have buckets of figs. We basically made vanilla ice cream and added figs. That was delicious and ice cream obviously freezes well.

She has ruled over the worst rubbish crisis the city has seen in generations. She axed half of Paris’s parking spaces because they take up too much public space. The blight of eco-obsessed socialist mayors used to feel distinctly European. The fact that American cities are electing people like this is particularly jarring. Just a decade or two ago, the American dream meant the very opposite of what people like Mamdani stand for. A new version of fontconfig release recently with the added option to disable bitmap fonts. If you're using a rolling release distro, this might break bitmap fonts for you. It definitely does on Arch (and likely Arch-based distros) because they opted to disable them by default for some reason (AFAICT upstream gives the choice but does not recommend one way or the other).
This'll cause fontconfig to skip bitmap fonts, your apps won't be able to access them.
I'd recommend a user-level fontconfig file. Create $XDG_CONFIG_HOME/fontconfig/fonts.conf with below contents and you get your bitmap fonts back. This negates the file in /etc/fonts/conf.d/70-no-bitmaps-except-emoji.conf. This is the first time I'm configuring fontconfig so there may be a better way ¯_(ツ)_/¯

A reminder that the anti-Iraq-war protests were some of the largest demonstrations in human history and they failed. The "carrying signs and yelling at empty buildings" theory of change comes from a sanitized retelling of past movements.
Today, every group with a twitter is calling for a demonstration in their town, but movements that don't cause power to feel pain and don't have the institutional capacity to negotiate if/when they do are doomed to failure.
The American left needs to get organized. I know you're out there. I meet so many people who self-identify as socialists. Recent rallies in Vermont had tens of thousands of people come out, but at every other kind of organizing, be it a meeting, canvassing, strike support, phone bank, etc., there are the same few dozen people every single time.
People in power know this. They used to get nervous when they saw huge rallies, but they've learned that they don't represent an organized threat.

@sidereal pretty sure that we at least mostly agree? Obviously the people at the march aren't the problem. My point is that the rallies matter as much as they signal or lead to an actual threat to power. If they can be safely ignored they will be.
