in reply to b9AcE • • •That trick seems to be getting more and more common in German news media as well: You read "thousands" in the headline, and then sometimes in the article you read that it was tens of thousands or even a couple hundred thousand, or the article also just says "thousands" and you have you look up the actual number elsewhere.
I mean yes, technically 100k is a multiple of "thousand", but WTF? It's as close to lying as they can get away with.
