Did you install any Elixir updates recently? Blenomer used to be incompatible with newer versions of Elixir and in the logs it looks very confusing โ as if it can't connect to the DB.
@theorytoe AFAIR, there was a mix command that exported the settings from the DB back to a file โ you can do this, then clear the config table in the DB, that would probably restore the settings to sane defaults. Worth a try! Back the DB up first โ the usual ๐
In my experience Plenomer is rather resilient to misconfiguration โ it's pretty hard to fuck it up to a point you can no longer restore it to a working condition, unless you start messing with the DB yourself.

It's very obvious that the NYT has put people in editorial positions who view it as part of their job to upset the left. This is, in the bizarro, insular world of US elites, seen as a way to restore balance & regain the trust of the right. Putting aside the merits of the larger effort ...
...I want everyone to notice something about it in particular: when they try to write these articles, they end up doing *shitty journalism*. The Claudia Grey stuff, the Mamdani stuff, the trans stuff, sanewashing Trump ... it's not *just* irritating to lefties, it's also demonstrably bad journalism.
The point I want to make is: this is not coincidence. You could not do what the NYT is trying to do while maintaining high journalistic standards. Why? Because in reality, the parties are asymmetrical. The right has become deranged, violent, & illiberal. Dems are bog standard center-left party.
We really need to make this point over & over again. When they say, "we're going to try to be more fair & represent the right's perspective," it *sounds* (especially to them) like trying to do better journalism, but in practice, it is the opposite, because the right is built on lies.
Again: there is not some other approach whereby the NYT could represent the right more & still do high-quality, multiply-sourced, factchecked journalism. It's a null set. That's not journalism's fault, it's the right's fault.
Elite journalists wriggle & wriggle & try & try but they can not escape the fundamental dilemma: journalism is, by its nature, supposed to be on the side of accuracy, against lies & liars, but the GOP is lies & liars top to bottom. And for reasons of power & access, journalism can not say so.
