it's whatever order I remember the tags in. Usually I recall the most relevant tags first, but there are some unpredictable irregularities in the process which I've never seen any reason to iron out.
Usually, they are in a sentence. So, 'grammatical' order. I will sometimes also include a cluster of keyword tags at the bottom, in which case, I'm trying for 'relevance', but really just as I think of them.

I decided to take a solitary walk at the Humboldt Botanical Gardens. Summer doesn't like to walk there because the trails are narrow and she can't wander off the path to sniff. I also wanted to see the tree that was planted as a memorial to my son blooming. I suspected I might be too late but was so sick in June I couldn't go. The tree was small when it was dedicated. Now it's not short or blooming. I was curious to see if I am recovered enough to make it up the hill. I did! My quiet walk was anything but quiet as the birds and the bees were in boisterous harmony. Hi there, I've got these really odd issue where certain windows will cause random lines like the one in the screenshot appear on my screen. They will often flicker a bit and will dissapear if I hover my mouse over them. The lines will display what is beneath the window itself. These occour quite frequently and are frankly getting quite annoying to deal with.
Is this a known issue with KDE right now? It does not happen while using Gnome on the same machine + screen. If it matters I am running CachyOS.
If there is anythign I can do to fix this then I'd greatly appriciate some pointers!
Last night at ICE in Portland was another munition heavy night and lots of violence from federal agents. Teargas filled the neighborhood with canister after canister being shot. Green and white smoke continuously filled the air. Pepper balls shot at protesters close range. Masks ripped off so the feds could mace people. Someone else was hospitalized by the brutality of the federal agents yet again.
I know these nights are scary. I know how bad these munitions and chemicals hurt and burn in the moment and that the pain and side effects can be even worse later. It’s all around bad. The thing is though it’s already very bad and scary without making things up or falsely attributing certain munitions as something that they are not.
The green smoke (same with the red when they choose to use it) that they use at ICE here, which they also used plenty in 2020 and 2021, is just green smoke. When I say “just” I don’t mean to imply that it is good for our bodies in any way, or that it isn’t toxic, because it is. These military style smoke grenades contain heavy metals and lead salts known to cause cancer and birth defects. But people keep calling it various types of gasses that it is *not*. HC gas being a big one people have been saying is what it is and that is not true.
We don’t have to pretend this smoke is something that it’s not to draw attention to how bad this chemical warfare is. Their violence and heavy handed use of chemical weapons speaks for itself. It’s already bad enough. Every single thing they do is already bad enough.
I know the green smoke looks intense because of how vibrant the color is. But there is a huge difference, and if HC gets used again, I promise you will know. This rumor isn’t just online, it often gets spread by people on the ground before anyone else. And I don’t think there is any ill intent with people doing this, but words have meaning. Facts matter.
A lot of this misinformation started in 2020. The first time they used HC gas then, feds deployed a canister and immediately lit a green smoke grenade and set it off in front of the HC. They used the green smoke to obscure the HC gas, and when it finished going off, the feds retrieved the HC gas canister and took it while leaving the green smoke one out. They were intentionally trying to make people think that the green smoke was what was being used. they didn't want anyone to know they were using HC and so it began being attributed to the green smoke.
Footage showing the canister burning, and comparison to canisters from other nights that took place after this night, is how it was later confirmed on that night they used HC gas. HC smoke burns a dark grey color, sometimes yellowish depending on how close to the canister the smoke you’re observing is. The canisters for HC remain on fire, often with flames shooting out of the top, and the canister itself is so hot you’ll see it glowing brightly the entire time it is lit.
HC is not like other common teargas used (OC and CS) which are bad enough on their own. When I said you would know… each time I’ve been otg when HC was used, well I’m not sure I even have the words to describe how bad it was. Thick clouds of smoke all around, usually from a combination of gas and smoke. People to my left and right either vomiting or completely losing consciousness. People all around ripping their full face gas masks off for reprise from the suffocation after the chemicals penetrated their masks and destroyed their filters. People’s limp bodies being carried out by street medics all around me. There was no eye flushing, at least not in the immediate vicinity where there was still gas. Medics and people who were well enough to help others would just be trying to get as many people away and out of there as fast as possible.

The Gjovik v Apple hearing earlier this week was very traumatic. Apple got the court's explicit okay to harass me to extent I might off myself & the court said it was misconduct by me to complain. I was shellshocked for a few days, but I'm ok now, I think because I always knew Apple was this evil.
It was like a very traumatic and disturbing confirmation of a preexisting theory.
To be clear: I had complained to Apple's lawyers that I can't afford my psych meds & I wanted them to stop threatening me with sanctions for no reason because my PTSD can cause suicidal ideation. The court said I'm not allowed to complain or ask them to stop, & ok'd their conduct
The most twisted part is I was told I'm not allowed to talk about or express my emotions at all around Apple or the court. It was basically a court gag order specific to emotions. It's literally the most f'd up thing I could think of & so it makes sense Apple thought of it.

Maybe cells are the answer to “biological sex”?? Right?? Cells have receptors that “hear” the signal from sex hormones. But sometimes those receptors don’t work. Like a mobile phone that’s on “do not disturb’. Call and cell, they will not answer.
What does this all mean?
It means you may be genetically male or female, chromosomally male or female, hormonally male/female/non-binary, with cells that may or may not hear the male/female/non-binary call, and all this leading to a body that can be male/non-binary/female.
Try out some combinations for yourself. Notice how confusing it gets? Can you point to what the absolute cause of biological sex is? Is it fair to judge people by it?
Of course you could try appealing to the numbers. “Most people are either male or female” you say. Except that as a biologist professor I will tell you...
The reason I don’t have my students look at their own chromosome in class is because people could learn that their chromosomal sex doesn’t match their physical sex, and learning that in the middle of a 10-point assignment is JUST NOT THE TIME.
Biological sex is complicated. Before you discriminate against someone on the basis of “biological sex” & identity, ask yourself: have you seen YOUR chromosomes? Do you know the genes of the people you love? The hormones of the people you work with? The state of their cells?
Since the answer will obviously be no, please be kind, respect people’s right to tell you who they are, and remember that you don’t have all the answers. Again: biology is complicated. Kindness and respect don’t have to be.
Note: Biological classifications exist. XX, XY, XXY XXYY and all manner of variation which is why sex isn't classified as binary. You can't have a binary classification system with more than two configurations even if two of those configurations are more common than others.
