Action Against General Dynamics in Vermont

🚨Activists painted “stop arming genocide / G.D. kills / free Palestine” on a General Dynamics office building in colchester, vermont. They broke several windows, splashed red paint on the front doors, and planted a Palestinian flag in front of the building.

General Dynamics OTS in colchester pays engineers 100k+ salaries to design weapon systems and provide project management for operations in saco, maine, where a factory produces parts for the MK-80 bomb series. These bombs have been used extensively in Gaza.

The office building is leased to several tenants through the real estate broker, V/T Commercial. By leasing this building to GD, V/T Commercial provides cover for genocide profiteers.

The activists priorities were to build unity with their comrades through struggle, to build their skills in direct action, to impose consequences upon genocide profiteers (and their collaborators), and to ensure this work could continue.

It is the responsibility of all those living in the imperial core to strike blows against imperialism wherever and however they can. It is not enough to feel rage about the genocide of Palestinians – we must try to stop it. We cannot just glorify the Palestinian resistance – we must also bring the war home. This is the broader framework for the action taken in colchester.

Finally, this action was not committed in a silo. Unconditional solidarity with all those who wage war against empire. Free Elias. Glory to Iran. We are all Palestine Action.

Well done, dumbass country. This is just one way they’re going to get you. Make college out of reach except for the wealthy who can pay what’s become exorbitant costs up front.

No more possibility of your kids doing better than you.

But Joe Biden and Kamala Harris and other Democrats just weren’t good enough for you.

It's really noticeable in MD and VA. Around the Potomac and Susquehanna Rivers, you can drop a crab pot and not get one crab. We used to crab in the Baltimore Harbor. You can't now, and the prices for fresh fish and crabs are outrageous. Taxes, fees, licenses are heavy, too. There's a limit on crab pots, for yourself. I just didn't know it was because of Canada.

I believe, within this photo, you will see pictured "The Beast", "The False Prophet", one of "The Horseman", possibly some of "The Unclean Spirits", maybe "The Dragon", and most definitely one of "The Seven Seals" being broken.

I am not even a Christian, but I was raised Christian and forced to study the Bible. And I still believe in a God that is not omnipotent, but is extremely clever, tries to help people, and can broadcast ironic warnings to all who will hear.

I decided to take a solitary walk at the Humboldt Botanical Gardens. Summer doesn't like to walk there because the trails are narrow and she can't wander off the path to sniff.
I also wanted to see the tree that was planted as a memorial to my son blooming. I suspected I might be too late but was so sick in June I couldn't go. The tree was small when it was dedicated. Now it's not short or blooming.
I was curious to see if I am recovered enough to make it up the hill.
I did!
My quiet walk was anything but quiet as the birds and the bees were in boisterous harmony.
I took pictures to bring you along.
Just in case you never visit Humboldt and see this jewel of a garden in person.
The photos are in the order of my walk. The labyrinth is the top of the hill. My walk started at the roses.

Gavin Newsom Sues Gavin Newsom For Ruining His Political Career

Sources say that the governor's lawsuit against Gavin Newsom will be one of the largest career advancement cases in California legal history.

"If he wins, Gavin Newsom could owe Gavin Newsom millions for lost income and career opportunity," said Harold Blanc, a California attorney. "And with good reason, too — Gavin Newsom has completely wrecked Governor Newsom's shot at the presidency."

Weird line tearing on KDE

Hi there, I've got these really odd issue where certain windows will cause random lines like the one in the screenshot appear on my screen. They will often flicker a bit and will dissapear if I hover my mouse over them. The lines will display what is beneath the window itself. These occour quite frequently and are frankly getting quite annoying to deal with.

Is this a known issue with KDE right now? It does not happen while using Gnome on the same machine + screen. If it matters I am running CachyOS.

If there is anythign I can do to fix this then I'd greatly appriciate some pointers!
