_William Grassie - Are There Multiple Universes_

Much of the confusion is due to the semantic distortion of the term 'universe' (which is the same thing that happened to the term 'world'): The distortion involves conflating the term's usual denotational semantics of "all that exists, all of reality" with the modern (Einsteinian) concept of a "space-time continuum." It's logically impossible for there to be more than one referent for "all that exists" or for "all of reality" (because of the semantics of the universal quantifier "all"); "all that exists" is what theism posits as what God created. Note that any and all "space-time continua," by logical necessity, are included in "all that exists."

But to speak directly to Grassie's point about "fine tuning": The improbability of things only needs explanation when there is more than one instance. There is no law of nature, nor law of statistics, that precludes something from occurring just once, regardless of how improbable it might be: Black Swan events happen--and they tend to happen more frequently than seems normal, thanks to "fat tails" (which is why some quant-driven financial firms are no longer in business); deal with it.

As for the issue of "how is it that anything exists at all," that's actually easy: Because absolute nothing is not a stable state. It cannot be, because to literally have "absolutely nothing" means there is absolutely nothing to keep "true" and "false" distinct; even "distinctions" could not exist (see "The Laws of Form.") In other words, given "absolute nothing," there would be no rules, no laws, no principles that could operate to prevent or preclude absolutely anything at all from existing or happening. So "absolute nothing" would actually be an infinitely-productive "fat tail" factory.

This July 4th weekend I want to give a big “THANK YOU!” to the Heroic ICE Officers fighting every day to reclaim our Sovereignty and Freedom. One of the most exciting parts of the “ONE BIG BEAUTIFUL BILL ACT” is that it includes ALL of the Funding and Resources that ICE needs to carry out the Largest Mass Deportation Operation in History. Our Brave ICE Officers, who are under daily violent assault, will finally have the tools and support that they need. We will not let America become a Third World Country filled with Crime, failing Schools, collapsing Hospitals, and total Social Dysfunction. It’s called “REMIGRATION” and, it will, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!

The Original Israelites were of Syrian ancestry

Some of them became Christian & stopped being racist about ancestry so stopped tracking their ancestry so much

Many of the rest of them committed acts of terrorism & were kicked out of Israel

Many of the Christian Israelites could remain because they were not bragging about a so called superior ancestry to get caught during expulsion

They continued the Syrian Aramaic language of the Israelites

They remained in the territory of Syria Palestine

A group of MPs have been accused of a “crystal clear breach of the rules” after taking money from a weapons firm owned by the Israeli government.

If I was getting into politics...

At an election I would hire billboards that say ... Vote for me because unlike your present MP

I wont take money from weapons companies to keep supplying arms to Israel and the IDF and to kill people

I won't take money from oil companies, tobacco companies, betting companies, etc to vote how they want

I won't vote to cut money to the disabled in our community

I won't vote to imprisoned and make illegal non violent protest

I won't vote to support landlord in keeping rents hight or even use my free parliament pay for housing as a ladder to become one

I won't use position as a MP to increase my personal unearned wealth by taking a 2nd, 3rd job etc

I could go on.... We vote for an MP to represent us and our vote... But mainly they represent themselves and their party

"Your #Phone Is About To Be #Hijacked: #How to #Survive the #Mandatory #Gemini #AI #Update (July 7)

Something big is coming to your phone on July 7, whether you asked for it or not.

#Go #ogle will begin rolling out its new Gemini AI #system, what they call an “upgrade,” but what looks a lot more like a #hostile #takeover of our phones, our #personal #data, #privacy, and #digital #autonomy. If you own an #Android phone, you will be affected. And no, you won’t be asked for permission.

This isn’t just another app. This is a system-level AI that will be deeply integrated into your phone’s OS. It will replace Google Assistant. It will access your #photos, #videos, #documents, and #clipboard #history. It reads your #notifications. It #logs your #searches, It parses your #text and #email conversations....and it understands what they mean.

Anyone who doesn’t know that Google is the world’s largest data vacuum and wrote the book on harvesting data from unsuspecting users has been living under a rock for the last 20 years. Google now has their ultimate tool: a super-intelligent AI that won’t just vacuum up your data like before, it understands it. It doesn’t just scan your messages for keywords. It reads your sentences and figures out what you meant.

Text your mom to ask about her headache, and Gemini sends her ads for the nearest headache clinic to her and maybe drop a Pfizer plug while it's at it. If hers in also an Android phone, it can grab her #information off her phone, turn it over to the clinic marketing team for extra attention. #Surveillance #technology with a helpful smile.

The mandatory update includes Android #phones, #watches, #tabs, the Android app in your #car #control system....if it says Android, it gets the upgrade on the 7th.

Here Is What Is aA Done Deal:

You can’t uninstall it. Gemini is baking itself in to your operating system, it is no longer an app.

You can’t block its access completely. Disabling permissions only disables visible functions you see. It's invasive background data analysis continues.

You can’t opt out if you use any part of the Google ecosystem. If you use Chrome, Gmail, Google Maps, YouTube, or Play Store, you’re already giving it permission to spy on your life. Find alternates to these services if you don't want vacuumed.

What You Can Do:

If your phone still gives you a choice, don't accept the Gemini switchover. But know this: most newer Androids won't ask, you won't even see it happen.

Once updated, turn off as many permissions as possible in your Settings. Especially anything related to voice input, camera, location, and clipboard access. Not just Google apps too.

Use alternate apps for messaging, browsing, and email. DuckDuckGo, Brave, ProtonMail, etc. will help limit exposure.

Minimize your Google account usage. Remove Google accounts from secondary devices, or switch to a de-Googled phone if you’re really serious.

If you aren't real sharp on the inner parts of your phone, I've written a plain-english step through of these settings for the non-tech crowd. You can find it below my signature, I hope it helps.

Final Word

The integration of AI into your most personal device without informed consent, without transparency, and without full control, is not a feature. I believe it to be a major violation of privacy. You shouldn't have to be a tech wizard to keep your personal information safe and out of corporate hands! This is going to become a much bigger topic in our life in the immediate future as we are transitioned whether we want to be or not, into the era of AI.

Best of luck,

SourdoughSam

P.S. I apologize to my regular readers who are more used to my homestead and personal ramblings. As most know, I wore a tech sword in another life. Old habits come back when I see technology running rough-shod over an unsuspecting public. I had to speak out.

Step-by-step for those of us who need steps.... 😀

🔧 How to Push Back Against the Gemini AI Update by SourdoughSam

Step 1: Don’t Tap “Upgrade” or “Switch” If prompted. If your phone still gives you a prompt to replace Google Assistant with Gemini on the 7th, do not accept it. Tap “No thanks” or “Keep Assistant.” But be aware: on many devices as of July 7, this choice may no longer appear at all.

Step 2: Check Your Default Assistant Setting after the update....

Go to: Settings → Apps → Default Apps → Digital Assistant App If Gemini is listed, try switching it back to “Google Assistant” or “None.” Not all phones will allow this anymore, depending on your update level.

Step 3: Turn Off Personalization and Activity Sharing Go to: Settings → Google → Manage Your Google Account → Data & Privacy Scroll to “Web & App Activity,” “Location History,” and “YouTube History”—turn them all off. This limits what Gemini can learn.

Step 4: Disable Gemini-Specific Features (If Available) Some phones now have a Gemini Settings section. If it exists, open it and turn off every toggle you find—especially those for “Contextual Awareness,” “Message Access,” and “Phone Controls.”

Step 5: Use Alternative Apps for Sensitive Tasks Avoid Google services when possible. Use:

DuckDuckGo or Brave for browsing

ProtonMail for email

Signal, Telegram, or Discord for messaging. This reduces the information Gemini can access through app integrations.

Step 6: Remove Unused Google Accounts If you have extra Google accounts on your phone, remove them: Settings → Accounts → tap account → Remove account The fewer Google profiles, the fewer data funnels.

Step 7: Consider De-Googling or Switching Devices For those who want full control, look into custom ROMs like #GrapheneOS or de-Googled phones like #Murena. It's not for everyone, but it’s the cleanest break from forced AI integration.ok, It's not for everyone, but it’s the cleanest break from forced AI integration. "

If there's one opinion that separates the controlled opposition from the rest, it's their take on the outcome of this war.

Any channel that promotes the idea that the elites are going to lose, either because "good triumphs over evil", or because those in power are stupid, is 100% lying to your face.

Any channel that peddles false hope, on the backs of politicians like Trump or Putin, is serving the elites.
Same thing if they promote religion.

It's false hope that makes the situation hopeless.

Action Against General Dynamics in Vermont

🚨Activists painted “stop arming genocide / G.D. kills / free Palestine” on a General Dynamics office building in colchester, vermont. They broke several windows, splashed red paint on the front doors, and planted a Palestinian flag in front of the building.

General Dynamics OTS in colchester pays engineers 100k+ salaries to design weapon systems and provide project management for operations in saco, maine, where a factory produces parts for the MK-80 bomb series. These bombs have been used extensively in Gaza.

The office building is leased to several tenants through the real estate broker, V/T Commercial. By leasing this building to GD, V/T Commercial provides cover for genocide profiteers.

The activists priorities were to build unity with their comrades through struggle, to build their skills in direct action, to impose consequences upon genocide profiteers (and their collaborators), and to ensure this work could continue.

It is the responsibility of all those living in the imperial core to strike blows against imperialism wherever and however they can. It is not enough to feel rage about the genocide of Palestinians – we must try to stop it. We cannot just glorify the Palestinian resistance – we must also bring the war home. This is the broader framework for the action taken in colchester.

Finally, this action was not committed in a silo. Unconditional solidarity with all those who wage war against empire. Free Elias. Glory to Iran. We are all Palestine Action.

Well done, dumbass country. This is just one way they’re going to get you. Make college out of reach except for the wealthy who can pay what’s become exorbitant costs up front.

No more possibility of your kids doing better than you.

But Joe Biden and Kamala Harris and other Democrats just weren’t good enough for you.

It's really noticeable in MD and VA. Around the Potomac and Susquehanna Rivers, you can drop a crab pot and not get one crab. We used to crab in the Baltimore Harbor. You can't now, and the prices for fresh fish and crabs are outrageous. Taxes, fees, licenses are heavy, too. There's a limit on crab pots, for yourself. I just didn't know it was because of Canada.

I decided to take a solitary walk at the Humboldt Botanical Gardens. Summer doesn't like to walk there because the trails are narrow and she can't wander off the path to sniff.
I also wanted to see the tree that was planted as a memorial to my son blooming. I suspected I might be too late but was so sick in June I couldn't go. The tree was small when it was dedicated. Now it's not short or blooming.
I was curious to see if I am recovered enough to make it up the hill.
I did!
My quiet walk was anything but quiet as the birds and the bees were in boisterous harmony.
I took pictures to bring you along.
Just in case you never visit Humboldt and see this jewel of a garden in person.
The photos are in the order of my walk. The labyrinth is the top of the hill. My walk started at the roses.
