In their original Spotify bio, the four-piece claimed to be from "a sweaty bungalow in California," and comprised singer and mellotron player Gabe Farrow, guitarist Lennie West, Milo Raines, who "crafts the band’s textured synth sounds," and percussionist Orion "Rio" Del Mar. Yes, it all sounds made up — and that's before we get to the weird photo of them eating burgers. Keeping track of different targets in terminal

I'm just using the Cosmic Terminal that's part of the Pop!_OS Cosmic Alpha, but I ran into similar issues with Gnome terminal and even with Termius.

Scenario:
I'm currently working on leveraging a VPS to act as the gateway to my homelab so I have one ssh session to Unraid server and one to VPS. One in each tab. Obviously the name shows up as what the username@servername is called in each tab. But I keep getting tripped up and sometimes try to do something from the wrong machine. Once I even failed to realize that the ssh session to one of them cut out and I was back on my desktop and took me an embarrassingly long time to realize why stuff was failing.

So what are y'all using to keep that organized in your work flow? Separate terminal windows instead of tabs? Some shell customizations to make them look different than one another? Or just so ingrained in your brain that you never have this problem?

If you haven't noticed (and I could be entirely mad) the roll for toilet paper has slightly increased in size. I'm talking about the ID - 'inside diameter' that is quietly getting larger. Why you ask? Because you won't notice the reduction in TP this way but you'll be paying the same price. Same size on the outside, but less paper on a roll. Capiche?

I'm sure you know about encryption, but what about steganography?

Steganography is like encryption's subversive little sister. Encryption announces up front, "I have a secret! I bet you can't get to it!" Steganography's jacket has the secret emblazoned on it in a way that only those "in the know" will recognize, as she looks you in the eye and says, "What secret? What are you talking about?"

Steganography is the people's encryption. Instead of relying on fancy, hard math problems to keep a secret, it works by hiding something in plain sight and convincing you there's nothing to even look for. It's the sort of thing two friends can cook up together in an afternoon to pass secret messages and foil the man. The more special purpose and obscure, the better.

And yes, you can use steganography and encryption together.

The important thing for using steganography is that the person who receives the message knows where to look for it, but no one else does.

You can pass a message in the most ridiculously simple ways: A rock moved or turned a certain way, a lapel pin turned slightly to the left instead of slightly to the right, scratching your ear vs your nose... These are things that can communicate short messages in real time with other parties who are present remaining oblivious. But the code must be known *in advance*.

Get with your friends and figure this out now. Don't wait till disaster strikes. And do it in a private way; online communications are not safe.

The most important thing to remember when planning out a way to pass secret messages using steganography is: Be original!

If it's widely known that someone can hide a secret message in a particular way, say, in the lower-order bits of an image, then strangers already know to look in that place for messages -- strangers including the folks that you don't want to read your messages.

Be clever and subtle and original. Find a new way to hide the information that no one has ever used before. If no one has thought of it before, they aren't very likely to think of it now, either.

"Automated license plate readers, also known as ALPRs, are usually installed at intersections and capture images of every license plate passing through. The data is stored with law enforcement agencies and can be used to find a vehicle owner’s information.

State law limits who can access the information, who it can be shared with, and how long the data can be kept. However, police agencies in California — including the L.A. Police Department — have illegally shared ALPR data with federal immigration agents, CalMatters reported.

What i FIND interesting about this poll is 10% think this willhurt the Republicans and only 5% think it will hurt the dumbocrats.
With such a slim margin in congress this difference will kill POTUS 47 and he will be impeached and never complete his administration.
In addition, once DJT is gone, good potential future POTUS with less progressive views will stand no chance against the communists.

According to the report, Field of Bachelor’s Degree in the United States: 2022, bachelor’s degrees in business management and administration (4.8 million), psychology (3.7 million), general business (3.7 million), nursing (3.6 million), and general education (3.1 million) were the most common in 2022 among those age 25 and older.

Note that Business Management is being replaced by AI (not well).
Psychology is useless and relies on insurance.

Rutte n'a pas su donner de réponse claire, ni fournir de preuves, aux questions : "pourquoi il croit que la Russie pourrait attaquer les pays de l'OTAN dans les 5 prochaines années", et "sur quoi est fondée sa prédiction d'une éventuelle attaque de la Russie", comme il n'arrête pas de l'affirmer à qui veut l'entendre.

En réponse, Rutte a été confus, il a parlé de "préoccupation générale de l'alliance", puis a mentionné des déclarations du ministre allemand de la défense et de dirigeants militaires et des responsables du renseignement, selon lesquels la Russie "pourrait" attaquer l'OTAN dans... 3, 5, 7 ou 9 ans... si l'alliance n'augmente pas ses dépenses de défense.
- "Donc nous sommes préoccupés" a répondu Rutte.

Et à la question : "et pour quelle raison, Moscou lancerait une attaque sur les pays de l'Alliance ?" Rutte s'est contenté de répondre que "si la #Russie attaque, elle devrait faire face à des conséquences dévastatrices de la part de l'OTAN", mais sans répondre à la question posée, ni fournir de preuves concrètes à l'appui de ses affirmations alarmantes.

Rutte a soutenu que l'OTAN se prépare à un conflit avec la Russie et que selon ses estimations, les préparatifs dureraient de 3 à 5 ans. Ses déclarations faisaient suite à une visite qu'il a faite à un Think Tank à Londres. Et il avait ajouté que les pays de l'OTAN "devraient faire face à la nécessité d'apprendre le Russe" s'ils n'augmentaient pas leur production de défense"...

Le Président russe Vladimir #Poutine a souligné à plusieurs reprises que la #Russie n'a aucune intention de partir en guerre contre l' #Europe ou l'OTAN. Le chef de l'État Russe a même qualifié de telles déclarations "d'inepties". Selon lui, l'UE essaie simplement d'effrayer sa propre population avec de telles inventions pour pomper l'argent de ses concitoyens.
Le chef de l'État a ajouté que la Russie ne considère pas l'augmentation du potentiel militaire de l'OTAN comme une menace, puisque la Russie possède tout ce qu'il faut pour garantir sa Sécurité : "Les Forces armées russes et le potentiel de défense sont en cours de développement et de modernisation continus", a-t-il ajouté.
Quant à la phrase de Rutte, disant que les pays de l'OTAN "devraient apprendre le Russe", le vice-président russe de la Sécurité Dmitry Medvedev lui a répondu par un tweet :
- "Le secrétaire général Rutte, a manifestement abusé des champignons magiques tant appréciés des Néerlandais. Mais il a raison sur un point : il devrait apprendre le Russe. Cela pourrait lui être utile dans un camp sibérien".
