He was a symbol of steadfastness and concealment, and a figure that haunted the Zionist army and its leaders for decades. His name, and his noble legacy, continue to grow and strengthen in Gaza and throughout Palestine.
As we mark the first anniversary of the martyrdom of our brother and leader Abu Khaled al-Deif, the hearts of our people and our nation still beat with his name. If you’re serious about democracy, let’s take away the power of your unelected commissioners to legislate and give the power to the EU Parliament – the only parliament in the world that cannot legislate. Maybe we’ll see what democracy can be in the EU once we stop having a toy parliament.
