"Les anarchistes ont de tous temps été sensibles aux injustices sociales, aux inégalités et aux iniquités raciales (Elisée Reclus, Lucy Parsons etc.), ces questions sont au fondement même de l’anarchisme. The essence of White Nationalism is the idea that Whites have a right to exist as a people. This implies that they have the same right as all other people to freedom of association, in other words, they have the right to build institutions, communities, and even countries constituted of White people for the express purpose of preserving their genetic and cultural heritage. Parti à 15h25 de chez mes parents pour avoir un train à 16h11 à Nancy, en 45mn normalement c'est large faisable. Mais c'était sans compter avec le #pdvdfsm tout le long du canal 😬

Du coup j'ai bourré comme un cochon, bien à plat dans les prolongateurs, autant que possible avec un sac sur le dos... et je suis arrivé en a peine plus de 30mn, totalement trempé de sueur. Bordel, parfois je me déteste 🥲

The The Stratospheric Projectile Entry Experiment on Dynamics (SPEED), a two-stage stratospheric drop test architecture, is currently under development to bridge the state-of-the-art gap that many NASA flagship missions require to reduce system risk and enable more optimized designs via margin reduction. To do this, a two-stage vehicle will drop from a high-altitude balloon and […]

For Dr. Sullivan, the damage was much worse. He says his lung capacity was slashed by HALF after taking the COVID shots the government recommended.

After a period of being unsure if the damage was in his head or not, Dr. Sullivan was diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension, a dangerous condition that elevates blood pressure and forces the heart to work much harder to pump blood to the lungs.

Interesting. It doesn't do that for me (with Debian packages gimp-3.0.4-3). Now that I've clicked the "Add" mode button, my lasso tool is now set to add by default, even when changing tools, even in different images' windows, even after restarting GIMP.

(That said, I have trained myself to use those keyboard shortcuts, except when I accidentally confuse Shift (add) and Control (subtract), at which point I get the opposite of what I wanted.)

' ... My inescapable conclusion has become that Israel is committing genocide against the Palestinian people. Having grown up in a Zionist home, lived the first half of my life in Israel, served in the I.D.F. as a soldier and officer and spent most of my career researching and writing on war crimes and the Holocaust, this was a painful conclusion to reach, and one that I resisted as long as I could. But I have been teaching classes on genocide for a quarter of a century. I can recognize one when I see one ...''

A little reminder that DuckDuckGo is venture capital (VC) funded.

The way VC works:

1. You get VC
2. You grow as fast as you can (or fail fast)
3. You sell (either to a larger corporation or to the public in an IPO; this is called the “exit”)

(In case any of you are surprised by recent/future developments.)

Also, Trump reposted the screed to correct the spelling of "Steele" dossier, and I love that for him.

Note, while I won't post Trump's spectacle from Truth Social, he keeps making allegations about where the Hunter Biden laptop comes from that do not match the public record (here, in his bathroom, before, from beside his bed), but DO match where Keith Ablow "found" a laptop he sat on for a year.

Texas mid-cycle redistricting to try to pick up 5 seats really is a gamble if you go inside the numbers, as I did. To pull it off almost requires making several Republican seats vulnerable to a wave election, using 5-year-old Census data in a fast-growing state.prospect.org/politics/202...

I switched to @kagihq as my default search engine more than a year ago. I don't have to worry about hallucinations or SEO spam. The monthly cost is modest and search feels like it did when "I'm feeling lucky" really made me feel lucky.

No affiliation, not a bot. Actual human deeply disappointed by Google's enshittification.

The #EU #DMA compliance workshops exist to regulate gatekeepers powers, yet both #Apple and #Google treat them like "product launches" where non-engineers show slides and can never answer questions.

The Android play-field, instead of taking steps to respect the DMA, Google shrinks what Android even is. If Apple can own its closed iOS, Google figured they can privatize Android?

Maybe it being #FOSS for 17 years was just a glitch and now Android is out of the famous Google betas?

"Hey Google, what is Android?"

* "Android is... quarterly source-code over the wall called AOSP"
* "Android is... not GMS or Play Integrity"
* "Android is... not the device trees or driver binaries of Pixel phones"
* "Android is... not part of the monthly security reports"

And today, we discover, "Android is... not `system-images;android-36;default`" per issuetracker.google.com/issues…

The F in #FDroid stands for "freedom", but there's no "F" in Android... nor any promises.

I think they definitely have begun to realize that they sort of painted themselves into a corner by giving us something so open. They want to be like Apple and make money hand over fist locking people into a platform -- and honestly, some of what Gapps is doing these days and how they're doing stuff exclusive to the most recent Pixels only is really starting to get there. I'm convinced Google will legitimately lock Android down soon and I don't think third parties are ready for this.

I really wish people would put their collective foot down on Google's current practices now, before it's too late, but we all know it will only happen after it's way too late.

It's been more than a year since I gave up on Google Search (I switched to Kagi.com and never looked back). I don't miss it. It had gotten terrible. It's gotten worse since, thanks to AI (of course):
