The maritime strike continued through the middle of summer, concluding with a union victory which brought decent conditions to the shipping industry and set the stage for the rebirth of a strong and democratic labor movement on the west coast.

@John Rooke Oh absolutely. We can start by having a maximum wage, as well as a minimum wage. Minimum wage would be pinned to how much politicians make. Minimum wage can never be less than 50% of what a Federal Senator makes. If politicians vote to raise their wages, minimum wage goes up as well! I would be happy for this number to be lower, but I would propose, for a start, a 100% tax on income above a million dollars a year. Money in an offshore tax haven will be seized and get you jail time, and countries providing tax havens will be embargoed.

But when she says criticism of Israel affects how people think of Jewish people as a whole ... I can only assume she's speaking for herself because she's not speaking for me in that respect.
It's a tepid, middling statement that implies that anti-zionists and people standing in solidarity with Palestine are mostly anti-Jewish racists or at least unknowingly nurturing that kind of racism. In that respect, her statement does some of Israel's propaganda for them.

We’re talking about ceasefire. Nobody trusts anymore Israel with any ceasefire. But even if it would have been a trustful offer, we should realize that a ceasefire is way not enough. We need to stop this occupation in its entirety. We need to stop this rebellion against G-d in its entirety. All what Israel stands for is a violation of Judaism. And all of this needs to stop.
