-They're trying to bring the cards prices down by bulk ordering them at the beginning
-Due to them being newer gen memory (2 gens after the Switch 1 memory modules they used in the Switch 1 cards I heard) it's entirely possible that it wouldn't even be cost effective to have lower capacity cards because nothing else uses these chips at these capacity at these speed
