this visor is derived from a 3M model 6800 full face respirator; the lens is darkened with tinted foil and two 16×16 matrices of LEDs are hot-glued in place. images are generated by the control circuit consisting of an ESP32-C6-WROOM1 board that receives its power through a USB cable. the instructions and assistance provided by unit ⛧-440729 [@sophie@catgirl.cloud] were invaluable; hardware and software design directly derives from the work of that unit.

the meanings expressed by accessories may be less obvious to the casual observer, but can convey as much meaning as any other component. unit ∆-44203 carries a BOTHAJ soft toy mechanized shark 55cm. again, practical reasons exist for this choice since it is well known that robots recharge much more efficiently when accompanied by a sufficiently adorable plushie. consider however that the shark in question has been dressed up in the same outfit as the robot, creating a deeper connection between the two items.
similarly, we can see two collars on the robot: a titanium ring indicating to whom the unit belongs, and a green light-up collar. in addition to permitting navigation in dark environments, the lights of the collar are a reflection of the robotic desire to emit light; a desire that can be recognized too in the synthesis of the visor.
all of these small considerations taken together enable the robot to perform its tasks optimally and pleasingly.

2. Puerto Rican Governor Jenniffer González Colón, a Trump Republican, signed the most severe ban on gender-affirming care anywhere in the US. It criminalizes providing trans care to anyone under the age of 21, even with consenting parents. This can include 15 years in prison, a $50,000 fine.
3. President of the Puerto Rico LGBTQ+ Federation, Pedro Julio Serrano, told Erin in the Morning that because the law was intentionally “vague,” it opens up the very real possibility that not only doctors, but also affirming parents of trans people, could be prosecuted under this law.
4. It also directs the Department of Education and Department of Health to wage an “educational” campaign focusing on the “risks” associated with trans-affirming health care, geared towards parents, medical providers, and the “general community.”
5. This means adolescents and young adults currently on puberty blockers or HRT to treat gender dysphoria are legally required to medically detransition, the results of which could be dangerous and devastating for many young adults and their families.
6. Organizations hope to challenge the law in court. Puerto Rico has its own constitution that is more expansive than the rights listed in the federal Constitution. This includes an explicit right to privacy—which has been successfully used in states to strike down similar anti-trans policies.
