1 The once in 6 months upgrade of build tools of the past seems to have been replaced with monthly rebuilds. This reflects some problems caused most likely with gcc15 and glibc new major edition. We have opted to stay back to gcc14 while this turmoil continues but we attempted our own rebuild of tools.
2 So all other upgrades have been placed on hold, including mesa and labwc 0.9.1 (you can attempt on your own if you like).
3 We suspect kbd but once step 1 is finished there will be a sweep of rebuilds, by some mistake a package was built under -O3 which makes v1 machines break. We apologize for causing a breakage and we will do our best to provide a fix. Unfortunately when we do upgrading has to be done by a secondary installation through pacman -r /mnt to the broken system. Unfortunately when it happens it is nearly impossible to detect the pkg causing it as root tasks are failing.

You've rebuilt almost everything that triggered the ISA "error." The last culprit was findutils which was probably caused by its gettext dependency.

Shape reminds me of this thing my dad got me when we were in the mountains when I was around 13-14. I suppose you must have put thought into it, but as a recent friend who is unaware of the history of why you chose matrix, the question "why matrix?" popped into my head.
To me, the matrix+element family's explicit enthusiastic participation as a cog in the imperial machine is rage-inducing, and does not inspire confidence that they will remain even neutral, let alone friendly, to any anti-imperial groups.
Add to that the shitty nature of their code, and fundamentally broken design—all of them together sealed the deal for me and my friends.
We had our matrix.org accounts, had used Element for a while and then given up, but still had the accounts and the app on our devices for many years; all of us deactivated our accounts on July 31, and uninstalled Element from all our devices.
Not judging your choice, just sharing thoughts...

in reply to Feral Ferment • • •@Feral Ferment The Matrix Foundation no longer has anything to do with Israel and hasn't for nearly a decade now. It has bridges and better security than IMPP. And Element works fine these days. Beyond the client, the Matrix protocol has always been fine.
Like, do you not use Tor and wave your finger at anyone who does because it was created and funded by US intelligence?

My comment about matrix being a willing and enthusiastic cog in the imperial machine had nothing to do with Matrix's origins within Amdocs.
