to be frank, these are thinkpads and these are dated thinkpads. Devs themselves probably use them. I remember that on x260, which is the “whatever I don’t care” machine, under OpenBSD even special function keys are working out of the box.
When I am done with the essential unpacking after the move and will finally proceed to working up the study, I will test dual boot on my amd 5700x/RTX3070 desktop. Then we will see.
