[...] I would say, rule of thumb if you're hearing it in the mainstream media, generally assume it either to be not true or the opposite of reality.

Using the machinery of justice to go on fishing expeditions about political predecessors is absolute madness. It corrodes trust in democratic transitions, chills dissent, and redefines political opposition as criminal subversion.

Last year my kids participated in a hybrid co-op program that was basically a small, 3 day per week school. There were some things we liked but a lot that didn't work for my kids.

This year we decided to come back home, incorporate some more activities and harder curriculum and just be together to learn. Last year their personalities changed and their light was different. Recently, they've returned to normal.. PTL...The older they get the more grateful I am we have chosen to homeschool.

Only the public can create the conditions that require an elected political leader to take action for our benefit.

That doesn't mean that the public always *can* do that. But it does mean that it's the *only* thing that can make it happen.

Go back and think about what that means.

Robust channels for public advocacy and mass mobilization outside the control of monied interests are vital to building democracy back better.

Our democracy was always plagued by anti-democratic baggage, and left most of us behind.

We're gonna hafta rebuild it. We have to consider what "power of the people" means in the 21st century. The old version proved insufficient for the times.

There are incredible opportunities in that. And danger. The establishment will want to re-assert "normalcy" -- and that'll appeal to lotsa ordinary folks who just understandably want stability.

But normalcy won't be sufficient to make any of us safe.

Inconsistent metre, inconsistent rhyme. And just a guy sitting on a bench with a guitar. Which is a little ironic that that's the state of music that's supposed to be all about people working together.

I have to wonder why we can't get together, like, a band. More than just two people and at most two instruments. It's really telling that we're talking about building a mass movement and no one can even get a couple dozen people together to create inspiring and powerful music. We can listen to these Guys On Guitars and be inspired about labour and shouting politely in the streets at politicians, but it doesn't give the sense of an actual powerful movement.

Israeli politician Moshe Feiglin quoted Adolf Hitler when discussing the push to create what Feiglin called a ‘Hebrew Gaza’.

Moshe Feiglin is: “Just as Hitler vowed to eliminate every Jew and said he couldn’t live as long as one Jew remained, I say:...They must be eliminated.”

> Psalms 78:25, 32-35 📖

Man ate the bread of angels.
He sent them food to the full.

For all this they still sinned,
and didn’t believe in his wondrous works.

Therefore he consumed their days in vanity,
and their years in terror.

When he killed them, then they inquired after him.

They returned and sought God earnestly.
They remembered that God was their rock,
the Most High God, their redeemer.
