In order to give tax breaks to the wealthy, Congress started a reaction that will result in the closure of rural hospitals because funding will be drained away from them.
Congress has chosen again to kill Americans, as a policy choice, to serve their handlers: corporations and the ultra-wealthy.

This $50 billion band-aid won’t save rural health care
It is just a fraction of the money these facilities will lose thanks to massive Medicaid cuts.Mother Jones

"The primary reason hundreds of rural hospitals are at risk of cllosing is that private insurance plans are paying them less than what it costs to deliver services to patients... although the at-risk hospitals are losing money on uninsured patients and Medicaid patients, losses on private insurance patients are the biggest cause of overall losses."
So to be clear, our for-profit "healthcare" system ensures private profits and the closure of hospitals.
