I hate to sound all tin-foil-hat but META Apps are Malware. There have been so many situations where they have been busted for embedding themselves into other apps and O/S's on App installation it is no longer even news.
I've completely purged them from my devices and restrict access to browser-only now.

They're not stupid. They know there aren't "parties" and it's in their advantage to keep everyone fighting amongst themselves. Both "sides" supported the insane UK identity laws and in the US, both sides of congress likely has at least 1/3 of their members with Epstein-style sexual blackmail on them. It's not new.
