The reason that The Wall Street Journal Editorial Board is always negative on “TRUMP,” and the Hundreds of Billions of Dollars we’re bringing into our Country through Tariffs, numbers that the U.S.A. has never seen before, is because they are China centric or, at a minimum, Globalists, and they would rather see China and the World, for reasons unknown, “WIN, BABY, WIN.” If the United States were not able to charge Tariffs to other Countries, it would be Economically defenseless and, of no further force or effect. Osmanlı'nın son döneminde ve Cumhuriyet'in ilk yıllarında adından sıkça söz ettiren bu isim, Musevi bir ailenin mensubuydu. Daha sonra “Bodrum” soyadını alarak memleketiyle bağını pekiştiren Galanti, Türkçülük düşüncesine hem kalemiyle hem de akademik çalışmalarıyla büyük katkı sundu.

Galanti'nin Türk ırkçılığı, yalnızca bir aidiyet hissiyle açıklanamayacak kadar güçlüydü. Onun bu alandaki yazıları, dönemin başka önemli isimleri olan Vambéry ve Kahun gibi Yahudi asıllı düşünürlerin bile ötesine geçmişti. Üstelik bu üç ismin de Türk olmadığını hatırlatmakta fayda var. Ancak Galanti, sadece kültürel bir Türkçülük değil, zaman zaman biyolojik ırkçılığa kayan bir çizgiyi benimsedi. Bu yönüyle, dönemin bazı Türk ırkçılarından daha ırkçı bir tutum sergilediğini söylemek abartı olmaz.

En ilginç çıkışlarından biri ise, Tevrat'a dayandırdığı etno-tarihsel bir iddia oldu. Galanti, Yasef'in (Yusuf’un) torunu Togarma’dan türeyen kavimlerin Türkler olduğunu ileri sürdü. Bu yaklaşımıyla hem kendisini hem de benzer düşüncedeki çevreleri, Türklerin kadim bir kutsal metinle kökenlendirilmesine inandırmaya çalıştı. Bu tür tezler, dönemin kimlik arayışında olan aydınları için cazipti belki, ama bilimsel gerçeklikten çok ideolojik bir fanteziye dayanıyordu.

Tarihin bu tuhaf figürü bize şunu hatırlatıyor: Irkçılık, sadece etnik kökenle sınırlı bir tutum değildir; bazen kendi kökenine rağmen, bir ideolojiye körü körüne bağlanmak da başka bir tür yabancılaşmadır.

There needs to be:

* incentives to manufacture things that can be repaired
* a general shift to see repairability as a sign of quality, luxury and responsibility
* training a new generation to do the work
* support for these trades so it's a viable way of life

Having a job fixing things is one of those types of work that can nourish the soul. But it needs to nourish the wallet too.

The people have a right to consent to their government, & to have a say in it.

Finally, time to post something...

I've been lurking on Nostr for ~2 years. I've never been a social media guy. Literally only ever posted 1 thing on facebook. I enjoyed Bitcoin Twitter for a while, but only passively. And honestly, I don't enjoy it anymore, nostr is much more fun these days.

So who am I:

- Automotive-Engineer by education
- Dad of a 2-year-old
- ₿itcoiner
- Into macro, tech & old cars

Professionally currently counting carbon atoms. Which is as boring and useless as it sounds.

I love playing with stereotypes. I am honest. Mostly funny, at least thats what my wife says. But my humour takes getting used to.

Might post a few weird thoughts around macro, society, and Bitcoin. Most of it is just for fun, but it might spark thought processes, example:

- Is café culture an early indicator of societies downfall? - Says the coffee lover.

Otherwise, it's fun things my 2 year old said, example:

One needs to that she confuses k and t while talking, but it took me a while to figure that one out.
