Son crime ? Avoir osé lancer des mandats d’arrêt contre Benjamin Netanyahou, Yoav Gallant, et d’autres responsables israéliens pour crimes de guerre à Gaza et en Cisjordanie occupée. Une première dans l’histoire de la CPI.
Mais en touchant à l’impunité d’Israël, Karim #Khan a brisé un tabou. Il est devenu un homme à abattre. Littéralement.
L’enquête menée par 'Middle East Eye' le confirme : le #Mossad est directement impliqué dans des opérations de #pression et de #surveillance contre Karim Khan, au cœur même de l’ #Europe. Les services néerlandais ont classé Israël comme “menace étrangère” pour la première fois, après avoir informé le procureur des risques pesant sur sa sécurité à La Haye.
Ce n’est plus du lobbying. C’est du #contre-espionnage. Une puissance étrangère opérant sur le sol européen pour entraver une procédure judiciaire internationale.
Aux intimidations physiques s’ajoutent les pressions politiques les plus violentes : David #Cameron, ministre britannique des Affaires étrangères, aurait menacé d’« une bombe H sur la Cour » si les mandats étaient émis. Lindsey Graham, sénateur américain, a comparé ces mandats à un tir contre les otages.
Pendant ce temps, des campagnes de calomnies sont lancées contre Khan : accusations sexuelles sans fondement, relancées par les relais d’influence internes à la Cour, dont certains auraient agi sous pression ou pour complaire à des gouvernements hostiles à la procédure.
Le plus glaçant ? Le sabotage vient aussi de l’intérieur : son propre assistant aurait publié, à son insu, un communiqué biaisé pro-israélien en son nom. Sabotage concerté. Infiltration. Manipulation. Le tout dans l’intérêt d’un État : #israel.
Israël ne se contente plus de nier les faits ou de contester la compétence de la Cour. Il agit en sous-main, via ses services de renseignement, pour neutraliser une #justice qui ose s’intéresser à ses #crimes.
Ce n’est pas une simple campagne de pression : c’est une opération de guerre psychologique et politique visant à décapiter une institution judiciaire internationale. Ce que vit aujourd’hui Karim Khan est une tentative de mise à mort politique, orchestrée par l’un des services secrets les plus redoutés au monde, avec l’aval ou la complaisance de ses alliés.
Si cette opération réussit, ce ne sera pas seulement Karim Khan qu’on fera tomber. Ce sera l’idée même de justice internationale qu’on enterrera.
Si Israël ,avec ses agents du Mossad, peut faire taire un procureur à La Haye, alors aucun tribunal n’aura plus jamais le pouvoir de juger les puissants.
Ce qui est en jeu, ce n’est pas le sort d’un homme. C’est la survie du droit contre la raison d’État. C’est la possibilité, pour un peuple opprimé, d’espérer un jour obtenir justice.
Karim Khan a osé désigner l’ #impunité israélienne. Pour cela, il est traqué. Et dans le silence assourdissant des capitales occidentales, c’est Israël et son appareil sécuritaire qui dictent à présent les limites de la justice.
