@db as a former paying Proton customer, I feel that. my current recommendations:
- transition to a custom domain for email if you can, it’ll make changing providers fairly painless - the only provider I know with a similar model to proton is Tuta, who I weakly recommend — but having been burned by Proton, I can’t recommend you trust them. see the above custom domain recommendation, just in case. - we desperately need federated e2e email, and I know a couple of people working on it
@bifouba @db use your best judgement for your threat model; posts like soatok.blog/2024/11/15/what-to… can guide you better than I can (and note that Proton and Tuta aren’t recommended there either — I previously considered both to be sufficient for my needs, but things have changed significantly regarding Proton and I still don’t trust Tuta fully. to be honest, none of this should require trust — better systems are necessary.)

It was spring of 2021 when Dr. Drew announced he got the J&J. I only mention it because, as Jay says, that was "when it mattered." A lot of folks who didn't want to get injected, and with mandate rolling out, were weighing what to do.

Was Adams deliberately duped by his wife? I can't recall exact details but remember there was some controversy about his then new wife being an oddball.
