I'm recognizing this tactic among fascists all over the world at this point, and I hate that it continues to work: 1. Make an absolutely absurd claim about your opponent. The more insane, the better. 2. Someone will believe it. There's always someone who's completely media-illiterate enough to see your claim and say, holy heck, that's so psychotic it must be true! 4. They tell other people about it — but without the insane context, it's just your friend telling you a 'fact' they learned, and it's more digestible. 5. Keep flooding the zone so that the people who aren't convinced by your insanity are too exhausted to combat it. 6. Therefore, even if the conspiracy theorist's friends don't believe him, most people aren't informed enough to actually argue against the insanity, so it proliferates anyway.

Je sais, ça m'est arrivé de me faire bousculer par deux cons sur la même trottinette, sur le trottoir. Les vélos, ça va encore, mais les trottinettes sont souvent débridées.
Même non débridé à 30 km/h c'est dangereux et surtout qu'en plus plusieurs sont maladroits avec et zigzague tellement qu'ils ont de la difficulté... Pareil avec les vélo, certains ont de la difficulté à le controller...
Faut déjà y arriver à faire du 30 à vélo. Puis j'ai déjà vu un scooter me raser en sortant de chez moi. Ici les cycles à assistance sont théoriquement bridés à 25 Km. Mais il y a des trottinettes qui vont presque à 120. En ville une bagnole de flics ne peut pas les rattraper.
J'ai fait erreur, c'est bien 25 km/h la limite avec bridage. J'ai déjà vu moi aussi des trottinettes roulé plus vite que les voitures qui sont déjà en excès de vitesse à 60 sur des route à 40.

I have a count of 4 so far. 2 RCMP CIRG & 2 VicPD. All 4 quit their jobs after spending hours with me. I made an RCMP CIRG medic tear up & he was one of 2 who quit, shortly after being told to extract me by any means possible. I fought back. I told them that I'm a war survivor & they're all cowards compared to what I've already lived through/overcome - without using any violent weapons. I used tactics used to deprogram longtime cult members on them. I wasn't giving up, without hard fights. I am not scared of cops. My family is & I've had to train them since Dad died. They are now #ACAB too. They understand why I fight fascist cops better now.
Don't talk to cops is still solid advice for most activists. It doesn't apply in blanket form though. There's a few of us longtime veteran activists who will talk to cops. We know how to handle them, from decades of experiences. I don't advise talking to any cops, in general, otherwise.
i don't have the finesse and experience to talk to cops. i am really good at making people cry and fuck off when needed, like a previous post of yours, don't be a chump and i won't chomp. where did you learn the de-programming stuff? i've been thinking about all the cult-like behavior happening out there and it'd be constructive in needed situations if learned properly. social engineering is intriguing.
@housepanther 100%. I've been advising not talking to cops for decades. Most folks will incriminate themselves by accident. Unless you have a ton of lived experiences dealing with cops - it's best to shut up & not talk to any of them. I was targeted, along with a few other very vocal & visible activists. RCMP CIRG were hunting for me for months. They were aiming at taking out people like me, with longtime experiences & able to keep the people inspired to fight against colonial capitalist armed peons. They see people like me, as a threat to their paycheques. Fucking greedy fucks.
