Israel isn't merely "anti Hamas". In fact, they vastly preferred Hamas and PIJ over the socialist leaning PLO. That's not their hangup.
Israel, like every other expansionist state in history, wants to have such a powerful chokehold on the Palestinians that they can no longer live to resist them.

Water in the middle east is a rare resource. The land of Palestine is culturally significant around the world, and people are willing to spend tens of thousands of dollars to go there. Gaza has a lot of shore space for ports and tourism. There are fossil fuels in the lands the Israeli state is colonizing.
And I would also like to mention the concept of the Palestine Laboratory here. That's pretty relevant as well.
And one last thing: the fight against Zionism is Palestine is literally a class war of sorts. There is a neat socioeconomic line between the Zionists (US,EU,Israel,Arab petrostates) and the Palestinians of Gaza that is too obvious to ignore.
This isn't about antisemitism, or the right of the Jewish people to be safe.
This is about international capitalism, the Zionist US-EU-Israeli coalition's expansionist ambitions in Palestine, and the role that ideological racialism has in furthering the goals of imperialist states.
I have largely given up on talking about antisemitism in relation to the Palestine movement because I have come to realize that now is not the time for that discussion.
What we need is a coalition of the willing to intervene in the Gaza genocide as soon as physically possible, with military force.
This is not the work of a graceful and beneficial group. If one can tear one's vision away from the fact that the leaders are Jewish (at least, it seems, in name, as many rabbis have attested), all that we have here are people with the same set of principles which have long since informed every imperial state. Acquisition at all cost, annexation no matter the legality, murder of anyone who might possibly resist in any meaningful way. We don't have to look too hard to see these sets of values in last century's Germany, and Russia -- and in Britain, the US, and Canada. Hail Britannia and manifest destiny.
